This day trip into the Amazon jungle begins at the specified meeting location in Baños, where we will meet our guides. Then, we will board a private vehicle and head to Puyo. After about an hour, we will arrive and stop at a rescue center for animals, where we will see monkeys, ocelots, and caimans. Then, we will head to the camp in the Hola Vida Reserve, an ecological reserve that covers 225 hectares. We will visit a beautiful waterfall and have the chance to swim amidst the tranquility of the forest. We will spend some time here, soaking this place in before we return to the camp. On the way back, we will learn about the local flora and fauna. Back at the camp, we will enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on a canoe ride on the Puyo River. This will take us to a scenic viewpoint where we can admire an exceptional view of the rainforest. We will then visit a Quichua indigenous community, seeing the people and their way of crafting necklaces and bracelets. While we are here, we can also practice the blowpipe and paint our faces with achiote, a natural paint. Afterwards, we will return to Baños.
