Itinerary

Overview

After guests have been picked up from the specified departure locations, we will embark on this tour by driving to the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China, the best-preserved section of the wall. From here, we will make our way to the sacred Ming Tombs, where 13 of the 16 Ming emperors are buried. Over the course of the day, we will enjoy an authentic lunch and a shopping excursion in a local jade factory. Afterwards, guests will be dropped off to bring an end to this tour. Badaling Great Wall

Badaling is the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, located to the northwest of central Beijing. It is also one of the more recently built portions of the wall, constructed in the 16th century CE.

Ming Tombs

The Yongle Emperor chose this location for his mausoleum, and many subsequent emperors followed suit, creating this collection of imperial burial sites. This location covers about 40 square kilometers, nestled in a cozy location in the mountains.
