Boston - 1000 Islands - U.S. Niagara Falls (NO VISA REQUIRED) (251 miles)
We will depart from Boston at 7:00AM and begin by touring the 1000 Islands, a stunning archipelago of more than 1800 islands which extends sixty miles into the northeast outlet of Lake Ontario. As we navigate among the islands on the 1000 Islands Cruise Boat,* we will have the opportunity to enjoy the clear water, picturesque landscapes, and unique scenic attractions of the islands, as well as the many glamorous waterfront homes in this favorite living location for the wealthy. When we arrive at Niagara Falls around 8:00pm, we will embark on a night tour to view the spectacular Falls lit with floodlights, where the majestic cascade of water illuminates the night with color.
Thousand Islands
The Thousand Islands is an archipelago at the Canada-U.S. border from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. They stretch for about 50 miles. The U.S. islands are in the state of New York and the Canadian islands are in Ontario. The smaller islands only have single residences.
In the Saint Lawrence River between New York and Ontario, there are 1,864 islands. This picturesque landscape has been a vacation destination for more than 150 years, and with good reason. The attractions include lighthouses, museums, fishing, and diving.

For more than 75 years, visitors to Niagara Falls have been able to enjoy a nighttime illumination of the impressive American and Horseshoe falls. Every night of the year at dusk, visitors can experience the falls a new way.

U.S. Niagara Falls (NO VISA REQUIRED) - Boston
This morning, we will embark on the "Maid of the Mist" boat cruise,* which will take us into the rapids at the very base of the Falls, allowing a breathtaking close-up view of this natural wonder and the clouds of mist created by the water’s powerful impact on the basin below. For a panoramic view of the Falls from above, we will visit Goat Island, which overlooks the three distinct waterfalls which compose Niagara Falls: the Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. Photos taken from this vantage point will give you memories to last a lifetime. We will also visit the Niagara Falls IMAX Theater* to hear incredible stories about the history of Niagara Falls and the daredevils who have braved its waters. After eating lunch around the area of the Falls, we will head back to Boston, arriving Boston around 8:30pm.

More water pours over Niagara Falls than any other waterfall in the world, and the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride gets you as close as possible-- right underneath the falls. Be ready to get wet!

Goat Island is an Island in the Niagara River located between the two waterfalls that makes up Niagara Falls. Its Terrapin Point is often visited by tourists and offers some of the most breathtaking views of the falls.
The Niagara Falls Adventure Theater on the American side of the falls is features a 45-foot screen and a 40-minute film entitled "Niagara: Legends of Adventure," which tells the story of the explorers who first experienced the falls.
Day 4
Boston City Tour - Home Town
We will start the tour by visiting the pristine campuses of Harvard and MIT, both world-class educational institutions. We will also visit prominent sites in Boston such as the State House, built between 1795 and 1797 on Beacon Hill overlooking the Boston Common, and recently featured in the major Hollywood film "The Departed". There will also be an opportunity for a harbor cruise (optional), where you can view Boston's magnificent skyline and Charles River.
In the afternoon, We will visit The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. Then we continue to visit downtown Boston and Quincy Market, also known as Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Transfer to airport afterwards. (Please schedule your flight no earlier than 3:30 pm) Note: On the last day, if you don't need the airport transfer, the tour will end in Boston Chinatown around noon time.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts is a research university known the world over for its highly selective and intense academics, and MIT alumni include 24 Nobel Prize winners and 22 Rhodes Scholars.
One of the most famous institutions of higher learning in the world, Harvard University in Cambridge, MA has been standing since 1636, making it the oldest university in the United States. Tourists come for both history and the architecture.
Boston's famous park has been serving citizens of the city for over 200 years. The 50 acres of rolling lawns and clear ponds have seen the likes of everyone from Martin Luther King to Paul Revere.
Perched grandly atop Beacon Hill, the Massachusetts State House has been the location of Massachusetts government since 1798. This iconic domed building houses the governor's offices and the state legislature. Tours must be scheduled in advance.
Quincy Market in the Faneuil Hall marketplace of downtown Boston is a historic building that still serves as a souvenir marketplace and food court today. The area has expanded to include two other marketplace buildings as well.
Trinity Church is located in Boston's upscale Back Bay neighborhood. It is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, and the elaborate and ornate building has become a landmark and icon in downtown Boston.
The John Hancock Tower is an iconic skyscraper in Boston, MA. Constructed in 1968, this beautiful blue building is staple of the Boston skyline. It is the tallest building both in Boston and all of New England.
This light 2.5-mile walking trail winds its way through some of Boston's most important historical locations. A favorite with tourists for its convenience and educational value, the Freedom Trail offers a view of Boston as it was and is.
