Day 1: San Francisco - Los Angeles (381 miles)

We will drive to Los Angeles, CA where we will take a walk along Hollywood Boulevard, visit the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Chinese Theater and the Dolby Theater Complex. After dinner, we will transfer to our hotel.

  • With an endless stream of famous landmarks, shops, restaurants, and other opportunities for entertainment, Hollywood Boulevard certainly lives up to its reputation as one of the most famous streets in the world, and is great for celebrity-spotting!

  • Formerly Grauman's Chinese Theater, the TCL is located on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Its oriental architectural style is where the name "Chinese Theater" comes from. This has been an LA landmark since 1926.

  • The Dolby Theater, formerly the Kodak Theater, annually hosts the Academy Awards, the highest honors in the world of film. It is a massive entertainment and shopping complex in Hollywood, California.

  • The Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles was opened in 2003. Its dramatic exterior architecture has quickly turned it into a recognizable landmark, and it is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.

Disneyland:
In Walt Disney, we will enjoy a full day in Disneyland.

San Diego City Tour:
We will depart from the hotel to sunny San Diego. We will first stop by the U.S. Naval compound in San Diego harbor. We will also visit USS Midway. After lunch, we will move on to another National Landmark, Balboa Park. Enjoy the luscious botanical gardens and Spanish architecture lining the long promenades. After, we will visit Old Town San Diego.

  • California's Disneyland Park is the only theme park to be built under the watchful eye of Walt Disney himself. The "happiest place on Earth" is an 85-acre compound home to eight smaller theme "lands" and the famous Disneyland Resort.

  • The USS Midway Museum is a maritime museum located on the Navy Pier in downtown San Diego. Much like the Intrepid in New York City, the museum consists of a decommissioned aircraft carrier that has become an educational facility.

Option 1: Universal Studios

Experience movie magic at its best. The Universal Studios Hollywood has attractions including Shrek and Jurassic Park, with various shows and performances throughout the day. Get an inside look at the sets and uncover the behind-the-scenes secrets of legendary films in the studio tour.

  • The Universal Studios, is located in Hollywood, capital of the American film industry. The studio-themed park has attractions that include behind-the-scenes tours of movie sets, as well as rides based on your favorite films.

    Duration: Approx. 8 Hours

Option 2: Los Angeles (15 miles)

Guests who select this option will embark on a full-day tour of Los Angeles, seeing the Santa Monica Pier, Rodeo Drive, the Original Los Angeles Farmers Market, Griffith observatory. Then we will pass by Walk of Fame, Music Fountain, Disney Concert Hall, Angels FlightStaples Center, University of Southern California.

Griffith observatory closes every Monday. We will stop by Walk of Fame instead.

Santa Monica is a beachfront city in western Los Angeles County, California, US. Santa Monica is home to executives and Hollywood celebrities amongst others and it is a mixture of very affluent, single-family neighborhoods, renters, surfers, young professionals, and students.

  • This large pier in Santa Monica, California is an iconic and historic waterfront amusement park. It first opened in 1909. The building that houses its 1920s carousel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

  • Spend the day seeing some of the most exciting, popular locations in Los Angeles, home of the biggest celebrities. You will get to see many diverse parts of the city, from Santa Monica to Hollywood.

  • Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills the name of both a street and a shopping district known for its upscale shops. Seekers of haute couture the world over head to this three-block stretch outside Los Angeles.

  • The Original Los Angeles Farmers Market traces its origins to 1934, and is still going strong today. It is now more than just an area for farmers to sell produce-- the area is also home to shops and restaurants.

  • The Griffith Observatory overlooks the city of Los Angeles from the slopes of Mount Lee, full of astronomical and other scientific themed exhibits. Since its opening in the 1930s, admission has been free.

Day 4: Los Angeles - Pyramid Lake - San Francisco (359 miles)

Our first destination is the Pyramid Lake(except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). We will visit the museum to see records of the four great ancient floods and modern conservation of the lake. Then stop by the Outlets at Tejon Ranch. We will arrive in the Bay Area in the afternoon. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Pyramid Lake, located in the eastern San Emigdio Mountains, is a man-made earth and rock dam that is part of the California Aqueduct. This scenic lake is best known for its outdoor recreation like boating, fishing, jet skiing, and more.
