Day 1: New York - Philadelphia - Washington DC (236 miles)

Today, we will drive to Philadelphia to see Independence National Park. Afterwards, we will continue on our way to Washington DC to visit U.S. Capitol (inside visit), The National Archives (inside visit).and take some photos of the exteriors of the White House. We will also visit the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial.
Special Notes: If unable to enter U.S. Capitol, the attraction will be replaced with the DC In-depth Tour (optional).

  • This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

  • Ride a coach past major landmarks on bus. Hop off at Air Force Memorial. Then visit the Capitol Reflecting Pool for the majestic look of the Capitol and admire the glow of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Take a last stop at the magnificent World War II Memorial .

Day 2: Washington DC - Corning - Watkins Glen+Finger Lake (Summer only) - Niagara Falls (437 miles)

Driving through the hilly countrysides of Pennsylvania and New York state, we will enjoy the rural scenery as we head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY to learn about glassmaking or the Watkins Glen State Park and Finger Lake (in summer). (**We will visit them only when weather condition allows) . Later, we will arrive at Niagara Falls to take a Niagara Falls Night Tour.

Corning is a city in Steuben County, New York, United States, on the Chemung River. The population was 11,183 at the 2010 census. It is named for Erastus Corning, an Albany financier and railroad executive who was an investor in the company that developed the community.

  • This museum in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking. Its collection contains more than 45,000 objects, some of which date back millennia. It was founded in 1951 and sees 400,000 visitors annually.

Watkins Glen is a village in Schuyler County, New York. This is the birthplace of the Watkins Glen International, one of the premier automobile road racing tracks in the United States. Sitting on the south shore of Seneca Lake, it is also famous for its beautiful natural sceneries.

  • Glen Creek has carved a dramatic gorge into the Watkins Glen hillside, resulting in a large, cavern-like network of rock formations.

The Finger Lakes is a group of 11 long, narrow, roughly north-south lakes in central New York. The Lake's shapes reminded early map-makers of human fingers.

Geologists explain that Finger Lake was formed due to the continuous erosion of the land by glaciers during the Ice Age.

In the morning, we will joining an In-Depth Tour that visits at places such as Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara. Then we will ride the Maid of the Mist and and hve a Daytime View in Niagara Falls. We will arrive back at the pickup points in New York in the evening.
Note: Maid of the Mist Niagara Falls Boat usually closed in winter season, we'll visit Cave of the Winds instead.
