Day 1: London

Today, we will take a walking tour through London, visiting Big Ben, the House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street, Whitehall, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, and the River Thames. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous British Museum and St. Paul's Cathedral, if we have time. We will also be able to see great views of the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London while sitting in the coach. We will have many entertainment options available to us in the evening.

London, UNITED KINGDOM

The capital city of both England and the United Kingdom has been a focal point of Western civilization for centuries. This amazing city in the British Isles is famous for places like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster Abbey.

Big Ben

"Big Ben" is actually the name of the bell inside the clocktower located at the northern end of Westminster Palace. The tower itself is officially known as "Elizabeth Tower." It is one of England's most recognizable landmarks.

British Museum

This large museum complex is dedicated to human history and culture. The building is designed in a Greek revival style. It was established all the way back in 1753, and holds departments for each major civilization in human history.

10 Downing Street

Also known by the Brits as "Number 10," this building is the headquarters of the executive branch of the British government and the official residence of the Prime Minister.

St. James's Park

This park in London spans 23 hectares in the southernmost portion of the St. James area. It is bounded by Buckingham Palace to the West, providing incredible vies of the royal residence.

Buckingham Palace

One of the most famous palaces of the British monarchy, Buckingham Palace dates back to 1705. In addition to serving as a museum and art gallery, it has been the main residence of the royal family since 1837.

Parliament Square

This large open area outside London's Palace of Westminster is one of London's main tourist spots. In addition to a grassy park with trees, it contains many monuments to famous historical figures such as Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln.

St. Paul's Cathedral

Sitting atop the highest point in London, this cathedral is woven deeply into the national identity of England. Figures such as Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher are buried here, and Princess Diana's wedding took place here, among many other occasions.

Tower of London

Dating back nearly a millennia, this historic castle on the shores of the Thames in London has served many important functions throughout history. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a museum that is open to the public.

Tower Bridge

This iconic bridge is a symbol of London. The two arms at its top are walkways that have been converted into a small museum. Here, guests can see the original steam engines that once powered the lifting of the bridge.

River Thames

The longest river in England and second-longest in the UK, the River Thames is a staple of London. Many of the cities most famous landmarks either sit on it, such as the Tower of London, or cross over it.

Thames River Cruise

The River Thames is iconic, a symbol of the city that it cuts through. Now you can take a cruise on the waters of the river and see some of the most iconic locations in London.

Westminster Abbey

This imposing Gothic church from the 10th century AD is one of the most famous buildings in the United Kingdom. It has played host to 16 royal weddings since its building, including that of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Day 2: London - Cambridge - York (293 km)

After breakfast, we will drive to Cambridge and visit the University of Cambridge, a majesticoldgroup of buildings including King's College and Queens' College, set among the most rural of bridges. Sincerely recommend a trip to "Cambridge Penny", which is carried by a boat with a long pole (part-time job of many college students) to carry people up the river Cambridge.After that, we will proceed to York or nearby for the night.

University of Cambridge

A collegiate public research university in Cambridge founded in 1209. It is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's fourth-oldest surviving university.

Kings College

King's College is one of the schools that make up the University of Cambridge in England. It was founded in 1441, making it more than 550 years old. The amazing King's College Chapel is considered a Gothic masterpiece.

Queens' College

Queens' College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge and is also one of the older colleges of the university, founded in 1448 by Margaret of Anjou.

Cambridge Punting

The River Cam runs through the heart of Cambridge enabling you to enjoy fantastic views of the world famous Cambridge College "Backs" from the comfort of a traditional Cambridge Punt.

Day 3: York-Edinburgh (258 km)

Visit the York Minster in the morning. Then you will step up onto York city walls, dating back to Roman times. For those keen to discover little grass-roots shops, there will be time to wander around. There is a century-old tea house, and we have prepared enough time to allow you to enjoy an authentic British afternoon tea.

This church in York is the official cathedral of the city, and one of the largest of its kind in northern Europe. It is the seat of the Archbishop of York, the second-highest office in the Church of England.

The English city of York has been defended by walls since its earliest days as a Roman settlement. Today, visitors to the city can still see the significant portions of the medieval walls that still stand.
Edinburgh, UNITED KINGDOM

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, to the north of England in the United Kingdom. Learn about the area's proud history at the National Museum of Scotland, and tour the Royal Yacht Britannia and Arthur's Seat.

Day 4: Glasgow-Gretna Green-Lake District National Park-Manchester (396 km)

In the morning, we will drive to the Lake District. On the way, we will stop in Greta Green, a village in the south of Scotland famous for the number of runaway marriages that seek refuge here. Afterwards, we will reach the Lake District National Park, You can choose our optional to join boat cruise of Lake Windermere, or hop off to the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. From then onwards we are driving to Manchester, where we can visit Old Trafford, the stadium that is home to Manchester United.

Gretna Green, UNITED KINGDOM

This Scottish village, right across the border from England, has grown quite a reputation for being a destination of runaway couples trying to get married. There are many lovely historical buildings in town.
Lake District National Park, UNITED KINGDOM

Usually simply known as the "Lake District," this park in the northernmost area of the United Kingdom is home to nearly one hundred lakes. Its beauty has made it a popular vacation spot with people across the country.

Windermere

Located in Lake District National Park in the north of England, Windermere is the largest lake in the country. It is classified as a ribbon lake because it is long and narrow, resembling a finger.

Windermere Cruise and Train

Take this relaxing cruise on the Windermere, where you will see magnificent views of mountain scenery, secluded bays and the many wooded islands.

Day 5: Manchester - Stratford-upon-Avon - Bicester Village - London (297 km)

Today, we will embark on a breath-taking drive that will take us to Shakespeare's hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon to see the cobble-stoned streets, drinking dens and old theaters. Later, we will go to Bicester Village, an outlet shopping center.

Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon District.

Shakespeare's Birthplace

Believed to be the birthplace and childhood home of playwright William Shakespeare, this 16th-century house and museum has been called, "a Mecca for all lovers of literature." Shakespeare would have lived here from 1564 until about 1574.

Today, we will travel from London to Paris by taking a ferry across the English Channel from Dover to Calais.

In the morning, you depart for Stonehenge, which is a ruin from the prehistoric period, a mystery in archaeology even until today. Then you will head out to Bath and visit the Roman Baths, dating from ancient Roman times. The Royal Crescent is the most imposing row of ancient buildings in Bath, with roads and houses all arranged in a crescent. It is known as the noblest street in England.

Salisbury, UNITED KINGDOM

This cathedral city in Wiltshere, England is best known for its large, historic cathedral, which is most famous for housing the Magna Carta, a critical document in English history.

Stonehenge

This world-famous prehistoric monument dates to between 3000 and 2000 BC. It is a UNESCO National Historic Site and one of the most recognizable icons of Britain in the world. It is thought to have been a burial site.

In the morning, we will gather in Paris to travel to the Port of Calais, where we will drive through the Channel to reach the Port of Dover in England. We will enjoy the beautiful scenery as we make our way to London. Then we will conclude the tour.

Option 2: Bath - Bibury - Windsor - London (341 km) (From 2019-02-02)

In the morning, you leave for "the most beautiful English village" Bibury. You will have time to stroll around and take pictures. In the afternoon you will drive on to the palace of the British Royal Family - Windsor Castle. This castle has an impressive collection, including paintings from Da Vinci, Rubens, Rembrandt and other masters, as well as medieval furniture and decorations.

This civil parish in Gloucestershire is a quaint village with lovely architecture. Arlington Row has been made an architectural conservation area for the lovely little line of cottages that were built in 1380.
