In the morning, guests will be picked up in Honolulu to begin this tour Today, we will immerse ourselves in the paradise that is O'ahu on this 120-mile around-the-island excursion full of scenic stops and spectacular views. Our first stop of the day will be the
Dole Plantation, where we can learn about the sweet fruit of Hawaii. Then we will descend into the plantation town of
Haleiwa, now a historic, cultural, and scenic district, and the gateway to the famous surfing beaches of Banzai Pipeline, Sunset, and Waimea Bay. We are sure to be amazed at the scenic views at the
Nu'uanu Pali Lookout.
Cowboys aren't thought of as part of Hawaiian culture, but the Kualoa Ranch is a favorite destination, where the bustle of Honolulu seems so far away. A short time later, we will enter the peaceful grounds of the Byodo-In Buddhist Temple, nestled in a green gem of a valley. Then, we will continue along the eastern shore, viewing the sparkling, turquoise waters that are home to coral forests where marine life thrives. We will see the waves crashing onto the beaches of Hanauma Bay. At the top of the Diamond Head Volcano, we will catch a magnificent panoramic view of the island. We will pass the Halona Blowhole before completing the final leg of our journey, eventually returning to Honolulu, where guests will be dropped off to end this tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.
