    Itinerary

Guests will be picked up in the morning from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem hotel locations. We will begin this exciting day with a panoramic overview of both the old and new sections of Jerusalem, beginning on the Mount of Olives. From here, we will be able to see the Temple Mount Esplanade. We will then stroll through the local bazaar to the Christian Quarter, following the Stations of the Cross, while a professional guide explains the significance of each stop along the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, sight of the crucifixion. From here, we will walk along the 1700 year-old Byzantine main street until we reach Cardo and the renovated Jewish Quarter.

Afterward, we will drive to the little town of Bethlehem, where we will first visit Manger Square. Then, we will visit the complex that houses the Basilica of the Nativity and the Church of St. Catherine. It is believed that Jesus was born in the grotto underneath this church. We will also visit the nearby Milk Grotto, where the Virgin Mary first fed the newborn Jesus. Above the grotto is a Franciscan chapel. On our return to Jerusalem, we will stop for a brief view of Shepherds? Field. Then we will return to Jerusalem, where guests will be dropped off, bringing an end to this tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off.

Please Note: Guests are asked to please bring their passports and to dress modestly.
