Nazareth, Sea of Galilee & Tiberias (181 km)

Guests will be picked up early in the morning to begin this tour. Today, our journey will begin along Israel?s scenic coastal road, overlooking the stunning Mediterranean Sea, then over the Plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. Then, we will visit the Church of St. Joseph, believed to be the sight of Joseph's carpentry workshop. Beneath the church lies a cave used by early Roman dwellers for storage of food and water. From here, we will proceed to Kfer Kanna for a view of the Mount of the Beatitudes, where, according to tradition, Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Then we will visit the Church of the Loaves and Fish, which preserves an early Christian mosaic from the 4th century. Our next stop will be the ruins of Capernaum. On our way back to Jerusalem, we will stop at the Yardenit for an optional baptismal service.
