    Day 1

    Jiayuguan

    Today we arrive in Jiayuguan, located in the province of Gansu which sits at the west side of the Great Wall. Here we will meet the local guide and visit the city. Jiayuguan is considered a peer city on the Silkroad, filled with many historical sites visited by tourists worldwide.

    Day 2

    Jiayuguan - Dunhuang (372 km)

    Content: Today we will tour to the Jiayu Pass (also known as the Jiayuguan Fortress) at the base of Jiayu Mountain. This area is known as the most strategic point along the ancient Silkroad. After lunch, a deluxe motor coach will take you to the 2,000-year-old oasis town of Dunhuang, which at one point was a vital post for caravans, connecting China and Central Asia.

    Dunhuang

    Today we will tour the Mogao Grottoes, also referred to as the "Caves of the Thousand Buddhas". Next, we will travel by motor coach to tour the Crescent Moon Lake in the Singing Sand Dunes. If you are feeling adventurous, take an optional camel ride here. In the evening, guests will enjoy a Cultural Performance.
