    Today guests will gather in Las Vegas. Please see "Departure and Return" below for more detailed information regarding pickup and dropoff times. After heading to the hotel and checking in, guests may enjoy the remainder of the day at their leisure.

    Tour Options: South Rim or West Rim

    Option 1:

    Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Las Vegas (551 miles)

    In the morning, we will visit the Hoover Dam. From there we will journey to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, where guests can choose to see a movie at the IMAX Theater. We will return to Las Vegas for the night. Alternatively, guests may opt to have a free day in Las Vegas.

      Hoover Dam

      Built during the Great Depression, the Hoover Dam rests along the Colorado River and holds Lake Mead, supplying water and power to parts of California, Arizona, and Nevada.

      Grand Canyon South Rim

      The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is the location of Grand Canyon National Park, and is the most tourist-friendly of the three rims. It is the location of the visitors' center, hotels, and other amenities.

      Grand Canyon IMAX

      The feature presentation here is the 34-minute 1984 movie Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets, which looks at the history of human involvement with this natural wonder. It is also the home of the National Geographic Visitors' Center.

    Option 2:

    Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Las Vegas (335 miles)

    In the morning, we will visit the Hoover Dam. From there we will journey to the WestRim of the Grand Canyon, where guests can choose to visit the Skywalk Glass Bridge or take a Helicopter Tour. We will return to Las Vegas for the night.

      West Rim Grand Canyon Helicopter and Boat Tour

      Run out of the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, these exciting tours take perilous adventurers down into the floor of the canyon. A helicopter descends into the great crevasse, and from there passengers pontoon down the Colorado River.

    Las Vegas - Barstow - Los Angeles (228 miles)

    In the morning, we will visit the Taner Outlet Center in Barstow, one of the largest outlet malls in the country with more than 120 stores including Gucci, Dior, Burberry, Armani Exchange, Coach, and much more. Afterward, we will return to Los Angeles in the evening.

      Barstow serves as a civilized stop-over for off-road enthusiasts and desert adventurers and offers access to a very modest clutch of cultural sights. Find out and about a museum or two, including one with Route 66 as its focus, filming locations like Bagdad Cafe and quaint Calico Ghost Town.

      Tanger Outlet Center

      Calvin Klein, Fossil, Old Nave - these are just a few of the name brand outlets at this Tanger facility in Barstow, halfway between Las Vegas and Los Angles, where customers can find bargain prices on designer wares.

    In the morning, we will have the option to take a cruise of San Diego Harbor. After, we will visit SeaWorld San Diego, home to whales, dolphins, walruses, polar bears, and over 300 penguins. In addition to animals, the park also has several rides.

      One of the largest cities in the country is San Diego, California. This beautiful city sits on the Pacific Ocean in southern California, not far from the Mexican border. Come visit SeaWorld, or just enjoy the sights and sounds!

      San Diego Harbor Cruise

      Enjoy a boat ride across one of the most impressive natural harbors in North America. Types of cruises available include cocktail dinners and sightseeing tours of the bay. These cruises are a ticket to fun, history, and relaxation.

      SeaWorld San Diego

      SanDiego's massive SeaWorld park is home first and foremost to the world-famous Shamu killer whale show. There are ten killer whales at the park, in addition to three pilot whales. There are also a number of dolphins.

    Palm Springs

    We will have the option of touring Palm Springs, a desert resort city in southeastern California with many recreational activities for those with active lifestyles. It is also the home of the star-studded Palm Springs International Film Festival every January.

    Disneyland

    We will have the choice of going to either Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure by taking the Hotel Shuttle in the morning, with the rest of the day to enjoy on our own before heading back to the hotel on the shuttle in the evening.

    Universal Studios

    Guests who choose this option will spend the day at Universal Studios. Universal Studios is a combination movie studio and theme park located in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles. Due to the Daytime Saving Time, we'll visit Chinese Theater and Hollywood Boulevard before head to Universal Studios.

      This internationally famous neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles attracts a litany of tourists every year to its iconic hills. With a seemingly endless supply of famous landmarks, shops, and eateries, visitors will be floored by this centerpiece of cinema.

      Universal Studios Hollywood

      Universal Studios is located in Hollywood, capital of the American film industry. This movie-studio-themed park has attractions that include behind-the-scenes tours of movie sets as well as rides based on your favorite feature films.

    Aquarium + Whale Watching + Lowa Battleship (39 miles)

    Guests will be picked up in the Los Angeles area in the early morning. From there, we will head to Long Beach, CA. Our tour of this amazing seaside city includes a visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific as well as a two-and-a-half hour whale watching cruise. When we return to LA, we will visit the USS Iowa.

      Aquarium of the Pacific

      Located on the Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, California, the Aquarium of the Pacific features exhibits and a collection of over 11,000 animals that reflect the biodiversity of the Pacific. Although the aquarium is open year-round, their Earth-Friendly Garden is open during the spring.
