Option B: Los Angeles City Tour (Daily arrival)
Today we will tour the city of Los Angeles, stopping first at the Los Angeles Music Center, home to several popular theaters and the site of many past Oscar Award ceremonies. In the city center, we will gaze up at the U.S. Bank Tower, the tallest building in California, and the stately Los Angeles City Hall. From there we will wind through Chinatown and Little Tokyo, travel to Olvera Street, the famous center of historic Mexican culture, admire the large Staples Center sports arena, and walk down Jewelry Street. In the afternoon, we will proceed to Hollywood Boulevard to visit Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, the site of three Academy Awards ceremonies and many film premieres, where you can even take your picture next to the foot and handprints of your favorite movie stars! Afterwards, we will visit the Hollywood Bowl, the world’s largest open-air amphitheater, and drive along Sunset Boulevard through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, where we will stop in the exclusive shopping district of Rodeo Drive. While we’re here, feel free to take pictures and shop around.
Option C: Palm Spring Desert Hills Premium Outlet Tour (Daily arrival)
In the morning, take about one half hour to get to Desert Hill Factory Outlet. There are over 130 Brand name stores like Dior, Dolce & Gabbana , Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, YSL, Zegna and DKNY etc……. Every day there were 25% to 70% discount offered from difference store. If you are not interested in shopping, you can take the cable car in Palm Spring to head over to the top of the San Jacinto hill to enjoy the breath looking view of Palm Spring from an elevation of over 8,516 ft above sea level. Arrive back at around 6:30 p.m.
If someone in your group is not interested in shopping, we can take him/ her to the nearby Morongo Casino and pick up on the return trip as well.
After eating breakfast in San Francisco’s Chinatown, we’ll explore San Francisco, the beautiful City by the Bay! Our tour will visit the stately Palace of Fine Arts; the world famous Golden Gate Bridge; Lombard Street, the world’s most crooked street; the bustling tourist area still home to many commercial fisheries, Fishermen’s Wharf. Passengers may also choose to take a one and a half hour Bay Cruise* to experience the sights of San Francisco from the water, with views of the East Bay and beautiful city skyline, the stately Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, and the harbor islands, including the infamous Alcatraz Island, Angel Island and Treasure Island. Around 3:00pm, passengers may choose to spend some time at leisure in the city, or have the option of the Extensive City Tour* to visit sights such as St. Mary’s Cathedral, the principal Catholic church of San Francisco; Alamo Square; Twin Peaks; the Civic Center; and the Castro District, otherwise known as the gay capital of the world. After the tour concludes at approximately 5:15 p.m., we will make a trip to Stanford University, slightly less than an hour’s drive from the city. Recognized as one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions, the tranquil campus is home to a rich collection of historical and contemporary buildings. Just before 7:00 p.m., we will travel to the city for dinner and return to our hotel.
We begin the day by traveling to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Standing at the promontory of Lipan Point, you will be amazed by the immensity and complexity of the canyon, which was formed gradually over two billion years. We will leave the Grand Canyon and return to Las Vegas, stopping to see the Hoover Dam along the way. The largest dam in the United States, it was built in 1935 in an experimental construction effort which is now considered monumental for the industrial progress of the United States. Then we will continue on to Las Vegas.
Option B: Grand Canyon West Rim ((Mandatory $69/person including lunch))
We begin the day by traveling to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. As you stand on its famous glass-bottomed Skywalk,* which extends over 4,770 feet of empty space above the Colorado River, you will feel yourself humbled by the scale of nature’s great masterpieces. Designed to hold over 70 million pounds, the Skywalk is perfectly safe and gives a breathtaking 720 degree view of the canyon. You will also have the opportunity to take a combined Colorado River Cruise and Helicopter Tour* of the Grand Canyon, which will give a spectacular view of the canyon from below and above. We will travel to see Hoover Dam, the largest dam in the United States. Then we will return to Las Vegas. (Optional: Grand Canyon Skywalk, Helicopter tour and Cruise Combo tour)
