It was worth the money... Can't ask more..
The only thing I missed is the shopping in Factory Outlet. They cut it short because of the traffic. But there's nothing in their hand.
Good management of crowd.
Giving itinerary 4 because of the early departure for South Rim at 4:45AM is very early.
First things first- It's a great deal. If the goal is to get in, see the sights and get out at a low cost, you're set.
If the emphasis is on the tour, you may be disappointed.
It was a quick, easy way to get from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon and back in under 3 days, and is perfect for those who do not want to fly or drive themselves. You can book last minute, and you see a lot in a short span.
The hotel is also a great deal. A room per night is more than the entire tour cost, so it's a steal. Clean, nice, great views at the top. It is at the very end of "The Strip" though, so it's as far away as you can be while still being on the main road so you'll need to take the bus, taxi or walk quite a while to reach everything.
Downsides: this is a Chinese tour. The operators are Chinese, the tour guides are Chinese, and every guest except us was Chinese. As an American and Peruvian we experienced language barriers, many cultural barriers, and felt out of place. It was hard to understand the tour guides when they spoke English, we could not communicate with the other guests, and felt like style of the tour agreed with the Chinese guests but was not what we were looking for. We felt the operators were a bit rude, unhelpful, and just trying to get extra money off of many extra costs. Furthermore, we believe in the value of local tour guides who actually know the area. As you can assume, this was not the case.
As stated above, it's a tour to get in and get out. We value flexibility in tours, and the evenings were completely free if you skip the million optional and overpriced tours and shows (you should use this time and explore on your own, the guides know as much as you do). But, the daytime itinerary leaves much to be desired.
Each day begins early (7:00AM pickups on Day 1, 5:00AM departure for the Grand Canyon, 8:00AM departure the third day), and the activities are unnecessarily rushed. For those wanting to experience world-class nightlife of Vegas, this isn't ideal.
The tour spent a total of 4 hours at outlets, but only one hour at the Grand Canyon. There's no way around this. Also, the drive from LV to Grand Canyon is 5 hours each way. So 10 hours of driving, an additional $25 per person (unexplained, was not a park fee as we thought), and only 1 hour to see the view with the driver threatening he will leave at 60 minutes on the dot regardless of who is in the vehicle. People with children or older patrons deeply regretted the 5 hour drive each way in the small van.
They will try to sell you the West Rim of the Grand Canyon over the South Rim. It is 3 times the price, and the South is unanimously agreed to be the most beautiful. The West Rim is in the middle of an impoverished Indian Reservation and is unprotected and being destroyed by these tours. Be an informed traveler. Also, you can not photograph in most areas in the West...I think it's safe to assume that will be a disappointment for most every traveler.
Overall-AMAZING deal. The customer service before and after the tour is wonderful, and not representative of the rest of the tour. They will gladly help you, and we recommend speaking with them so you know exactly what to expect. Regardless, you cannot beat the price. Just consider it transportation and accommodation and expect nothing more.

The tour was awesome for the price! If you want a quick travel to Vegas and Grand Canyon, this will be great for you.
There are only three things I recommend the tour company to change: the Chocolate Factory stop (or just spending less time there), the outlet stops (I would stop more time on the first outlet instead of in the second, which is smaller), and also I would spend a little more time at the Grand Canyon (perhaps seeing it from two or three other points, because it is a long travel to get there).
I had a great time and I loved our guides, they are knowledgeable and very nice, and also the drivers!
A well managed trip. Worth the money. The stops at the shopping malls were a bit too long at times. Two hours is too much, but you can do a lot of shopping as well because the stores do have good discounts and awesome stuff. But overall, really happy with the trip! Definitely recommend
Anyone who wants to visit Nevada and Arizona's major tourist attractions should avail this tour. The cost is cheap and the hotel and the bus used are superb. Las Vegas is awesome and for nature lovers, the Grand Canyon is a must see.
The trip was good since they covered a lot of places in 3 days.. we went to South Rim from Las Vegas and it was nice. The night tour in Vegas was nice and the guide, Michael, covered most of the places.
I have been to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas before but I was on vacation and wanted something to do for a few days and see the Grand Canyon. The trip was worth it for the price. Let someone else do the driving. You drive in to Vegas the first day and have time to spend the evening exploring the city if you choose or take the night tour for an additional fee. We decided to catch a show. The next day starts pretty early, but you go to the Grand Canyon and get back around 6:00PM if you go to the South Rim. If you aren't too tired, you get to spend free time in the evening. The tour guide Sam was the best. The group was primarily Chinese but there were a few from the United Kingdom and other countries, so the guide was sure to speak both Mandarin and English. He made sure we all had the best trip. The only issue was that on the day we rode a different bus to the Grand Canyon, some had to use the bus restroom as an emergency and the bus had a bit of a smell for while. Otherwise the trip was great.
Our tour guide, Eva, tried to accommodate both Chinese and English speakers, although sometimes I heard a few minutes of non-stop Chinese and just a few sentences of English and I wondered what was going on. While she was friendly, she seemed rather rude at first; she didn't use "please" and spoke briefly and as if she was scolding you. Perhaps that's absolutely normal for Chinese people.
Accommodation was absolutely great. There were 3 of us on the tour and we got 2 big beds that would fit 4 people. You totally shouldn't worry about this at all. Plus, going up the Stratosphere tower is free and the view is, I promise, extraordinary. Going downtown from Stratosphere hotel is also really easy since the bus comes quite often right at the side of the hotel and a bus pass costs only $6-8.
This being said, while it's nice to have the night tour in Las Vegas (paying $25), I would recommend using the time to explore the city on your own. The tour started at 5:30pm and ended at 9:00pm. Much of the time spent was on waiting for everyone to get on the bus and worrying we would be late for the bus. 2 evenings is enough to explore the city (mainly South Las Vegas Boulevard and Old Town), and a 24-hour bus pass will serve you well. You can spend as much time as you want at places that you find interesting. I expected the night tour to be informative of the city, but they just took us to see different places- Treasure Island, the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, which is not worth seeing, and the Old Town. I was hoping they took us to Bellagio, Paris, etc. but we only drove past it. I regret taking the night tour, to be honest.
The Grand Canyon trip was okay. We only had an hour there (10 hours driving in total), but that's totally understandable. It's far from Las Vegas and the schedule was tight. It gave me an impression, however, and I'm definitely visiting again at some point.
Overall, taking the price into consideration, the trip was worthwhile. I can't expect more with the price I paid and the fact that I'm an international student who doesn't have a driver's license. However, if you've already spent money to come to the West Coast and if you can drive, take some time to DIY and spend a couple of days at the Grand Canyon trying the helicopter ride and the trail.
But as per the price and time, this tour is great.
Yes I will surely recommend this tour to all my friends. We are really satisfied with this tour. As always, we are avid fans of this 3 day Las Vegas tour... The tour guide Sam is so nice and very professional. We enjoyed this tour, keep up the good work! 5 Star for all!
We had this tour for four people last September 10-12. The tour itself is inexpensive, the accommodation is great, and the tour guide, Danny, is very accommodating, very friendly, and is very knowledgeable of the different spots that we went. The only complaint we have is the frequent bus transfer. It started out when we were going to go to Las Vegas, then the following day when we were going to the Grand Canyon. Hopefully they will have a system that those from the same bus would stick together until the very end of the tour, just like the other tour companies that we had tours with.
For the price I got, this tour package is recommended, provided there are some improvements made.
First day was a journey to Vegas and in between some shopping, which was good.Took the night tour and it was okay, as the time the tour started was 6:00 PM which was a bit odd as Vegas night should have started in the night around 7:30 PM.
Second day tour to Grand Canyon South Rim was okay, as we were able to see only one view point due to time constraints for the driver. What I suggest is this tour should have been an overnight stay at Grand Canyon, as people hardly get to explore Grand Canyon. Also on the way back to Hover Dam, the bus was not stopped at the correct location to take pictures, instead it stopped close to a store which was surprising. Also, the third day return should have started in the afternoon or evening without stopping at the Chocolate Factory, as I think that was not a place to visit.
I suggest this tour only if the above mentioned improvements are made.
This tour was really great! I got to see the wonder of the Grand Canyon, especially when we went to the skywalk, which was AWESOME. The tour guide was also good. Hope to have another tour with this company!
I have taken this tour twice and I love it. My tour guy is Daniel, and had a very professional manner and was knowledgeable and very helpful too. I already recommended to my friends and relatives! I used to travel from East coast a long time ago, and now is West coast. Thank you.
My family took the 3-day Las Vegas tour with Willy Yu as our tour guide. Willy did a fantastic job. He was funny, friendly, patient, and very helpful. He took the time to talk to each group of travelers and answer our questions. We were on a bus made up of very few English-speaking travelers with the rest of the group made up mostly of Chinese nationals so it was wonderful that Willy translated all his Chinese announcements to English. Unfortunately, on Grand Canyon day, our group ended up on the bus with Paul and Daniel as our tour guides. They both barely bothered to translate their Chinese announcements. All I can remember Paul saying was "wake up, wake up". And neither seemed to have the patience to be helpful.
It was a good tour but I wish we had more time at the Grand Canyon. My tour guide, Michael, was a very nice guy. He did very good job and was very responsible on his work. He gave us all the information we should know. I don't remember the driver's name, but he drove very smoothly and safely. Overall, we are very happy with your company and your people. Thank you!
The tour was overall good. The tour Guides and the Drivers were very courteous, entertaining, Informative and helped the visitors with proper guidance and answers. The Night tour though charged additional was worth the bucks. If not for it, we would have never covered so much in the stipulated time and the heavy July 4th Crowd. Buses used in the transportation was well maintained and we don't have any complaints. Three cheers for the Take tours team. I would strongly recommend this tour to my Friends.
Our tour guide was very patient. I can really say he did some research about the history of the places we visited. I always recommend to the first timers to take GotoBus whenever they want to go for vacation. It is really easy, cheap and for sure you will enjoy it.
Our guides Daniel and Derek have been perfect: the entire schedule has been kept down just in time exactly. They were careful: Daniel had called us, me and my son in advance to the Tour to say where we would meet at Union Station LA.
Daniel and Derek are naturals at narrating the information about the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas, and the Grand Canyon. There was something new to tell the travelers and always impressive e.g. Derek has told us that Las Vegas uses as much power per day as a small town per year!
Our driver, Julio, is a true professional that drove our tour bus like a Formula 1 race car and was always just in time.
Our trips companions came from New York and China (and other places) while we came from Los Angeles. All of us were very friendly respectful and disciplined company.
Mojave Desert, Las Vegas, and of course Grand Canyon are Wonders of the World that are unforgettable. You have to come once more again to experience the wonder, beauty and the snazzy fun that all of these places are!
The Stratosphere Hotel was absolutely amazing with people base jumping off of the 108th floor. The “Newtown” and “Oldtown” Las Vegas are both brilliant in each of their ways. And the Grand Canyon… What more is there to say about the Grand Canyon but that it must be experienced through reality rather than tiny post cards?
This is a once in a life time experience and it was sad to leave.
Nevertheless, brilliant and amazing!
We took the bus to Las Vegas early in the morning. I have been there once before so I knew a few things about this city. But this time with a professional guided toured, it revealed another meaning of the city. Somebody says, Las Vegas is one man-made miracle in desert. It sleeps quietly in day time, while wakes up at night. When I walked in the city with modern buildings built up around me, especially during the night time, I truly felt the beauty of this city. It is quite hard for me to believe that the city is at the center of a desert. We visited Venetian Hotel, watched the volcano show at Mirage Hotel and the fountain show at Belligo. I watched them before but every time I watched them I found something fresh. Moment later we visited the old town Las Vegas. What impressed me there was a 400 meters huge screen which costs 250 million dollars to build. We got up early in the next day and drove to Grand Canyon which is one of the seven natural wonders in the world. It is a living history book tells the growth of earth. Only the people who see it with their own eyes can tell its’ real beauty. The three-day tour, from night city Las Vegas to natural wonder Great Canyon, will be an unforgettable experience for any visitor.
