Day 1: Los Angeles - Grand Canyon West (541 miles)

Passengers will be picked up in Los Angeles in the early morning. Today we will drive from LA to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, stopping briefly in Las Vegas at 1:30 pm before arriving around 4:00pm. After we check in at the Hualapai Ranch, we will visit Eagle Point for a breathtaking view of the canyon and the Colorado River below. From here we will move on to the famous glass-bottomed Grand Canyon Skywalk Bridge, and then to Guano Point. After we return to the ranch, a dinner of BBQ ribs will be served alongside a live country-western music show. After dinner, there will be a campfire party in front of the Grand Canyon, followed by karaoke to top off the evening.

Grand Canyon West Rim

This relatively new tourist area in northeastern Arizona is run by the Hualapai Indians on their lands. Visitors to what they call the "West Rim" can see sights such as the Skywalk Glass Bridge, Hualapai Ranch, or Guano Point.

Guano Point

One of the many impressive vantage points along the rims of the Grand Canyon, Guano Point gets its name from the old Bat Cave Mine it overlooks.

Eagle Point

One of the mos popular scenic overlooks on the Grand Canyon's West Rim, Eagle Point features the Skywalk Glass Bridge, as well as the "Native American Village," where visitors can see live performances and demonstrations.

Skywalk Glass Bridge

Located in the West Rim of the Grand Canyon on the Hualapai Reservation, this engineering marvel offers visitors a view of the canyon unlike any other. The clear, glass bridge extends out over the lip of the gorge.

Grand Canyon West Cabin Stay with Wagon Ride

This is one of the most authentic ways to stay at the Grand Canyon! You will spend the evening in a comfortable modern cabin at the Hualapai Ranch. Then, the next day, you'll be treated to a fun wagon ride!

Hualapai Ranch

The Hualapai Ranch is a historic Old West-themed town on the West Rim of the Grand Canyon that offers activities such as horseback and wagon rides as well as cowboy demonstrations.

Day 2: Grand Canyon West - Las Vegas (275 miles)

In the morning, we will watch the sun rise over the canyon and take a Wagon Ride around the ranch. We will then leave the canyon and head to Las Vegas for the night to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display that celebrates the arrival of a new year!

See fabulous Las Vegas at its best-- at night! This exciting tour of the famous Strip takes guests to sights such as the Bellagio Fountains, Venetian Hotel, Volcano at the Mirage, and historic Old Town Las Vegas.

Day 3: Las Vegas - Barstow - Los Angeles (277 miles)

We conclude our tour with free time in the morning to explore Las Vegas at your leisure. We will leave Las Vegas in the afternoon and drive west to California. On the way back to LA, we will stop at the Tanger Outlets in Barstow, CA for some discount shopping time. After, we will return to the pickup points in LA for dropoff.

Barstow, CA

Barstow serves as a civilized stop-over for off-road enthusiasts and desert adventurers and offers access to a very modest clutch of cultural sights. Find out and about a museum or two, including one with Route 66 as its focus, filming locations like Bagdad Cafe and quaint Calico Ghost Town.

Tanger Outlet Center

The Tanger Outlets in Barstow serve as the midpoint between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and offer the best prices on designer-name goods. With over 60 stores on location, there is a bargain waiting for everyone.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

Mandatory Admission Fees: $108/person including Grand Canyon West Rim admission and 2 meals.
Air fares between your city and the departure city
A mandatory service fees to the driver and tour guide (min. $10/passenger/day).
Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.
All meals and drinks during the trip (tour guides will select the restaurants.

Additional Note

Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
Hotel rooms: Each hotel room can accommodate no more than 4 guests (adults or children).

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you have received the confirmation.

Redemption

You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person
(Notification day and departure day are not counted)
15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
