Ask a Question
Question
Hi, We are planning a trip in last week of April. Is this tour available on 23rd or 24th April? Also, is this the right time of the year to visit Yellowstone?
by Dutta on 2017-03-02
Answer
Hello! Currently April 23rd or 24th departure is still available. Once the Yellowstone tours are available, it means the weather condition of Yellowstone is good enough for travelers to visit.
by Taketours on 2017-03-02
Question
Thanks for the quick reply. To clarify again, by "Yellowstone cabins available every Friday, Saturday,Sunday", does that mean the 1st day of the tour has to be Fri/Sat/Sun or that the day we stay in Yellowstone has to be either of these 3? I would appreciate a definite answer here as the top description box said "Mon, Sat, Sun", the additional note said "Wed, Thurs", none of which is the same as your answer.
by Lesley Do on 2016-02-22
Answer
Dear Do, Thanks for emailing us. According to the tour page you provided us, I can see it is a daily tour. the departure time can be any day. However, we do have addition notes for rooms:Due to limited rooms inside Yellowstone only the tours Tours departing on Wednesdays and Thursdays during May to October will stay inside Yellowstone. Rest of the departures will be outside the Yellowstone park. Based on your questions,we guess you may pull out a different tour page. You can contact back with us at any time if you have any further questions. Thanks again. Layna Customer Service Team

  • This tour is efficient, fun, and you cover a lot of beautiful places across 7 states in 7 days! It is hectic but it is worth the money for those looking to get a lot done in little time. Its convenient for large families/groups and for those don't want the hassle of planning. However, this tour only spends 1 day and a few hours in Yellowstone, and personally, it works for first timers but if you are not in a rush and can drive in the US, I recommend renting a car and doing fewer places but spending more time in places such as Yellowstone and Bryce Canyon. - Also, they collect up to $1200+ in cash for various mandatory and optional charges in addition to the upfront price. - The bus seats is not the most comfortable and I do not recommend paying the additional surcharge for the first 3 rows (it is only worth the price if you sit in the first row, which is not the case here). -The guide was quite professional, fun and nice. He gave us clear instructions but there is room for improvement as he didn't give us rooms close to the entrance even though he knew we had a heavy bag. There is a slight a bias towards Chinese participants. -Our driver was very nice and great at driving us, but he was extremely strict about not allowing coffee's and meals in the bus. He even cancelled the Las Vegas night tour because he was tired. It is strict and takes away from the fun a bit. So if you do chose to go, know what to expect. On the whole, we had a good time, but we probably would not do it again. Maybe my parents could go by themselves, but for younger people, i'd recommend try something else.

  • I took this tour on early July, the scenery was amazing! We saw a lot of wildlife in Yellowstone including BEAR and COYOTE! The best part is the Cabins we stay, give me the chance to enjoy the starry night inside the park, it's a lifetime experience.

Day 7: Las Vegas - San Francisco (568 miles)

Today, we will depart from Las Vegas and head back to San Francisco. Along the way, we will pass through the Mojave Desert, the largest desert in the U.S. and home to the world's largest solar power station and windmill-powered generators. We will arrive in San Francisco in the evening, bringing an end to the tour.
