    Los Angeles - Las Vegas - St. George (387 miles)

    Passengers can choose to be picked up in Los Angeles in the early morning or meet the tour in Las Vegas in the afternoon. From LA, we will journey through the San Bernardino Valley Area and the immense Mojave Desert. We will make a stop at Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas, where guests will have two full hours to shop. After the shopping we will head to Las Vegas airport and the hotel for pick up. We will spend the night in St. George, UT.

    St. George - Lake Powell - Glen Canyon Dam - Antelop Canyon - Bryce Canyon - Salt Lake City (446 miles)

    In the morning, travelers will see the sunrise while on the way to the Page. Arizona. Then, all travelers will have the opportunity to take a visit to Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam. The next highlight will be the Lower Antelope Canyon, which is a popular location for photographers and sightseers. Finally, all travelers will have a chance to overlook the breathtaking and awe-inspiring Bryce Canyon. Overnight in Salt Lake City.
    • Page, AZ

      Page is a city in Coconino County, Arizona, United States, near the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. Page was founded in 1957 as a housing community for workers and their families during the construction of nearby Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River.

      Lake Powell

      Lake Powell is a beautiful reservoir along the Colorado River amid the vast desert expanses of Utah. It is in the vicinity of the Rainbow Bridge, Ticaboo Canyon, and iconic Antelope Canyon.

      Glen Canyon Dam

      This concrete arch dam in northern Arizona barricades the Colorado River and creates Lake Powell, the second-largest man-made lake in the country. Lake Powell is a haven for water-skiers and boaters, and is also popular with fishermen.

    Salt Lake City - Jackson - Grand Teton - Yellowstone (356 miles)

    In the morning, we will head to the small town of Jackson, WY, a famous frontier town during the Western development. Afterwards we will head into Grand Teton National Park to take in the view of Jackson Lake and Teton Peak. From there, we will take you into the first national park in the world, Yellowstone National Park. We will see 10 of Yellowstone's major scenery sites over the spans of 2 days, including Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone Lake and Fountain Paint Pot. Spend the night in West Yellowstone.
    • Jackson Hole, WY

      Famous frontier town, located at the crossing of Grand Teton and Rocky Mountains, it became a heaven for outdoors sports enthusiast. The widely praised Elk Antler Arches Park, with its four arches made with thousands of elk antlers is a must see.
    • Grand Teton National Park, WY

      Grand Teton National Park is is located in the Rocky Mountains, Northwest Wyoming. Grand Teton National Park is noted for its stunning mountain vistas, its shimmering alpine lakes and its abundant wildlife.
    • Yellowstone, WY

      Yellowstone is the home to world's largest super volcano and over 10,000 natural landscapes. Yellowstone is well known for its geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots.

      Old Faithful Geyser

      Yellowstone National Park's famous geyser Old Faithful has been called the most predictable geographical feature in the world. Its reliability has been documented since 1870, when Minnesotan explorer Nathaniel P. Langford gave it its now-world-famous moniker.

      Grand Prismatic Hot Spring

      The third largest hot spring in the world, the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring gets its color from bacteria around its rim that feed off of the mineral-rich water. In the summer months, the hot spring is a vivid red-orange shade.

      Fountain Paint Pot

      Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

      Yellowstone Lake

      At 7,732 feet in the air, Yellowstone Lake is the largest freshwater lake above 7,000 feet in all of North America. This large, crystalline lake is a hotbed of geothermal activity and also contains underwater hot springs.

    Yellowstone - Buffalo Bill Dam - Shell Falls - Gillette (313 miles)

    In the morning we will continue our tour inside Yellowstone National Park, visiting Norris Basin, Yellowstone Canyon, Yellowstone Waterfall, Mud Volcano, Fishing Bridge, Hayden valley. After we all finished those amazing attractions, will exit the park from the east entrance to Buffalo Bill Dam and Shell Falls to enjoy the scenic view along the way. We will arrive and spend the night at Gillette, Wyoming.

      Norris Geyser Basin

      Yellowstone National Park is full of areas like this - geyser basins - large, open areas where geothermic pressure from below the ground's surface force up various geysers and springs. The Norris Basin is one of the more accessible.

      Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

      This impressive gap in the earth in the first large canyon on the Yellowstone River. It is 24 miles long, and can reach a quarter-mile in depth and 3/4 a mile in width. It is gorgeously colored.

      Upper Yellowstone Falls

      Located a quarter-mile upstream of the larger Lower Falls, the Upper Yellowstone River Falls plunge 109 feet down an eroded lava cliff into the basin below. The area below the falls has been subject to heavier erosion than above.

      Mud Volcano Area

      The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

      Fishing Bridge

      Located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River, the Fishing Bridge is a great location to spot the native Cutthroat trout. There is an RV park of the same name nearby.
    • Cody, WY

      Named for William Cody (AKA Buffalo Bill), who helped found the town, this small city in Wyoming lies to the east of Yellowstone National Park. Many parts of Cody still have the feel of the Old West.

      Buffalo Bill Dam

      Named after the famous Western showman, this dam is part of the Shoshone Project which irrigates the Bighorn Basin for crop production in the region. Standing at 325 feet high, Buffalo Bill Dam is as much an engineering site as it is scenic.

    • Bighorn National Forest, WY

      This forest in Wyoming covers 1.1 million acres of land. Within forest is the Cloud Peak Wilderness area, in which no motorized equipment is allowed. The only way to access that area is by foot or horseback.

      Shell Falls

      Located about halfway down Shell Canyon in Bighorn National Forest, you can find this waterfall, which tumbles down 120 feet of granite into Shell Creek below. At the top of the falls, you'll get amazing views of the forest.

    Day 5

    Gillette - Devil's Tower - Mount Rushmore - Crazy Horse - Casper (366 miles)

    Arrive at Devil's Tower in the morning and see this famous Wyoming landmark. Afterwards we'll head into South Dakota to visit the Mount Rushmore Memorial, where you can take a walk along the Presidential Trail getting right underneath the sculptures of the presidents. After lunch, we will arrive at the Crazy Horse Memorial, a symbol of the Native American spirit and their rebellion against oppression. Enjoy the view of the endless grassy fields of Wyoming as we traffic to Casper to spend the night.
    • Devils Tower, WY

      The first declared United States National Monument. It'is an igneous intrusion or laccolith located in the Black Hills near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County. A monolithic rock formation that rises 1,267 feet above the surrounding land and was once the neck of an active volcano.

      Devils Tower National Monument

      This massive monolith in the Black Hills of Wyoming was the nation's first national monument, anointed by Teddy Roosevelt in 1906. In recent years, climbing the rock has become popular. The stone column is considered sacred by many Native Americans.
    • Mount Rushmore National Memorial, SD

      Mt Rushmore National Memorial is one of the most iconic National Memorials in the world. Four of the nation's most cherished Presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln carved into the face of Mt Rushmore.
    • Crazy Horse, SD

      Crazy Horse Memorial is the world's largest sculpture-in-progress, and frequent drilling and mountain blasts make each visit unique. When completed, Crazy Horse Memorial will stand 563 feet tall by 641 feet long.

      This in-construction monument to famous Native American war hero Crazy Horse is currently being carved into the side of Thunderhead Mountain in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The completed sculpture would be the largest in the world.

    Casper - Park City - Salt Lake City (421 miles)

    Continue our travel through the Wyoming fields in the morning, we arrive first at Independence Rock, a historical landmark in the development of the Western frontier. We will get to Utah around noon time and take you to see the Olympic Village for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Park City. In the afternoon we will see the State Capitol building, Temple Square of Mormon Church and the Great Salt Lake when we get to Salt Lake City.
    • Casper, WY

      Independence Rock

      This granite monolith sits in the Independence Rock State Historic Site in central Wyoming. The rock served as an important landmark for those travelling west via the Oregon Trail in the middle of the 19th century.
    • Park City, UT

      This quaint little mountain town got its start as a mining settlement. These days, it annually hosts the Sundance Film Festival, founded by actor and director Robert Redford. In the winter, it is a popular ski destination.

      Utah Olympic Park

      This sports park was made for the 2002 Winter Olympics, featuring components for several of the different events: jumps for skiing, bobsled tracks, and luge tracks. It now serves as a training center for would-be Olympians.

    • Salt Lake City, UT

      Utah's gorgeous capital city sits amidst the mountains of the American Southwest on the shores of the breathtaking Great Salt Lake. The city is steeped in history and architecture in addition to wondrous vistas and scenery.

      Utah State Capitol

      A member of the National Register of Historic Places, the Utah State Capitol has been standing since 1916. Adorned with columns and a dramatic dome, the neoclassical style is the same as the famous national Capitol building in Washington.

      Mormon Temple

      This massive temple took 40 years to build, and was finally opened in 1893. It sits in 10-acre Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the campus is a popular tourist destination even though the inside is off-limits.

      Great Salt Lake

      Located in the northernmost part of Utah, the Great Salt Lake is the largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere and the fourth-largest terminal lake in the world. Its level of salinity is actually even higher than the ocean.

    In the morning, we will head towards Las Vegas and you will be able to see the beautiful scenery crossing the Colorado Plateau. In the afternoon we will check in at Stratosphere Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. At night you can join our exciting Las Vegas Night Tour for a fee. We will stay at Stratosphere Hotel for the night.

    Early morning we will head toward the M&M Chocolate factory. At the chocolate factory you can taste some of the famous specialty chocolates. Take the included onsite tour and you can see the process of making chocolates. After lunch, we will go to Barstow Outlet for brand name shopping. In the early evening we will return to Los Angeles.

      • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

    • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you receive the confirmation.

      Redemption

    • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is processed. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.

    Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • 21 days or more prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    • 15-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 14 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
