I went on a tour with my bf and we had the most amazing experience. We booked a 3 Day tour from this website. This tour visited Las Vegas and Grand Canyon.
We arrived in Los Angeles on the first day and were picked up by a very nice gentleman who took us to the car rental and we explored the city of LA for the whole day on the first day. I must say that the service and the experience were great overall. Even the bus drivers were very friendly and helpful! It was nice to take a trip where we could just relax and ride on the chartered bus without having to deal with navigating through the city, either in a car or via public transportation. All the stops were planned, and I really feel like we had the full experience in each city. Often we would stop and explore for a while with the instructions to just return back to the bus at a certain time. This was a great way to see everything from shopping somewhere in the desert between LA and to beautiful views of Grand Canyon.
So many things happened in 3 Days. We took hundreds of pics and we were blown away by the beauty of these places. Grand Canyon was my favorite place because it reminded it me that it is always important to take a moment to enjoy life and appreciate the things surrounding us such as people we care about and nature.
I will definitely do it all over again. I'm now thinking about taking a trip to Yellowstone.
The trip was wonderful. We couldn't have covered more in the time allotted. But I wish they had given more time in grand canyon. Also only bus ticket and hotel accommodation is included in the price, for everything else you will have to pay.
Thanks, Mou, for the 5-star review. it is always great to know what are customers are thinking
Tour from Vegas to Hoover dam and Grand Canyon is great, driver/guide his name is Gene provided lots of information not just the 2 areas we visited but also the areas along the way. Bus ride from LA to Vegas not organized, trip stops details will be very helpful, and a working bus toilet should be a must. I still would recommend and take another tour in the future.
It was a nice tour in general. I like how my tour guide explain things to us and treat us with respect, his name is Zack by the way. It was a shame that we can't make it to the south rim, due to snowing conditions. It would be better if we could stay in a hotel closer to the strip area.
I took this tour for first time with this company. Very organized and they offered tour for reasonable price. When you arrive to the hotel, you don't have to do registration, they do everything for you. The guides were very nice. They offer you more options during the tour for more money, but it's your option if you take them. I recommend this tour and this company.
The trip was good. Me and my family all loved the Las Vegas night trip (this one was an option to choose and pay extra). We had some kids with us. Circus Circus hotel was fun with some free ride tickets and some free games:)
This is my third trip with TakeTours, and as usual, they did not disappoint. The tour was very pleasant and well-organized. The only downside was that we only stayed at the Grand Canyon South Rim for 50 minutes and it was raining the whole time. But it was, of course, beyond the tour company's control. Our tour guide, Tony, was very personable and helpful.
I recommend this tour. It was a worthy trip. The time at the Grand Canyon South Rim could be extended for at least 30 minutes more. Also, breakfast/lunch should be provided for an additional fee. Moreover, water bottles must be provided on the bus considering the 10 hours driving time.
It was a decent trip which includes most of the Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. We took this on Labor Day Weekend, many things were curtailed like the $100 gift of coupons and free rides in the adventure park was not given and stoppage at South Rim national park was only for 50 mins. We majorly took this trip for Grand Canyon and was not able to relish it to the hilt. The tour guide is okay, mostly speaks in Chinese and sometimes in English, it was not a big deal though. IMAX Theatre movie was not given an option because we only stopped there for like 50 mins. During the journey to Las Vegas, the tour guide tried to convince the guests to take the West Rim tour rather than the South Rim by pointing out the advantages of West Rim, which was not a very nice gesture because South Rim is equally good and it creates unnecessary confusion at the end moment for the guests. She was trying to explain that a lot of time will go in traveling to south rim and it's not worth it. In that case, they shouldn't include the South Rim tour at all in their program to avoid last minute changes. It created a lot of chaos for no reason among the guests. The buffet lunch is okay and not much of a variety. It is a catering service run by the tour company itself. The hotel was good for the price ans we didn't take any bus tour or shows as we didn't like the way the tour guide was trying to convince people to shift to the West Rim tour from the South Rim one. Basically we lost trust in her which is quite important for someone in this business. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip though as we did the things we wanted to do on our own and were not bound to follow a schedule as such. Hoover Dam visit and Tanger outlet centre was a plus too. All an all a good package but do your own research before going and do not completely rely in the tour guide if you don't want to end up paying for extra things which you are not interested in.
The only thing I didn't like was the food at Las Vegas buffet. But all in all it was a wonderful trip. Thanks to our tour guide Carol. She speaks good English. I recommend the Grand Canyon West Rim tour. We paid $80 with meal. And try to see the fantasy show, it was great! We really enjoyed it.
I took this tour for first time with this company. Very organized and they offered tour for reasonable price. When you arrive to the hotel, you don't have to do registration, they do everything for you. The guides were very nice. They offer you more options during the tour for more money, but it's your option if you take them. I recommend this tour and this company.
As many previous reviews said, the tour guide does try very hard to convince you to go to the West Rim, and also to watch the shows. However, as students, we decided to save some money so we went to the South Rim and skipped the shows. I also did some research and found that West Rim requires you to spend a lot more money to get a good view of the canyon, whereas South Rim is good enough for us since we just wanted to get a look of this attraction.
The hotel was really great, with free circus acts throughout the day and also the adventure dome theme park. We get 2 free premium rides (doesn't include roller coasters), but it was still really fun.
I would actually encourage people to skip the buffet for day 1 and 3 lunch as the food isn't that great, and it gets really crowded as many tour groups are there. Food runs out really quickly and do not get replenished fast enough. However, there are not many other food choices in that area (TGIF across the road opens only for approximately 2 hours for lunch), so you may want to bring some food along.
The itinerary is quite good, but as expected, we don't spend too much time at any place. Grand Canyon South Rim took us 5 hours to get there, then we spent 45 minutes there, and took another 5 hours ride back, but we stopped to see the Hoover Dam along the way. Chocolate Factory was indeed not very necessary but it is still relatively interesting to watch the workers at work. Shopping at Tanger Outlets was definitely good as well; the prices were really quite low. However, we only had about 1 hour and there were too many tour groups (close to 200 people) there at the same time, resulting in long queues and insufficient time to look at everything. However, if you have something in mind you want to buy, you can definitely get a good deal here :)
Overall, I would still recommend this tour. Probably the easiest way to get to see the Grand Canyon without you yourself driving. Yes we had to get up at 4:30AM, but basically you just need to drag yourself to the bus to continue sleeping.
It is perfect for families or groups who do not want to drive this long and want affordable alternatives. Tour guide did a good job at managing all the travel and accommodations. My only complaint would be not enough time to spend in Grand Canyon South Rim.
I would however recommend this tour to my friends and family.
Hi all, tour was excellent and tour guide also gave a lot of information in English only (earlier I heard that they speak only in one language). Very comfortable bus. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends.
The tour was long but worth every minute. At first, the guide told us we would not be able to go to the South Rim because of weather conditions, but at the end we could do it. The weather was not as cold as they told us it would be. The first night in Las Vegas we took the night tour, and saw some of the most iconic shows from the hotels. We had to run, literally, they wouldn't wait for any one. Times were short in every spot, but we are glad we took this tour. Hotel was good. The only complaint would be for the food stops, Chinese buffet was the only option. Can't wait for taking another tour with TakeTours.
Pros: 1. The price. It is cheap when I traveled on a long weekend. Because during the long weekend the hotels are expensive in Las Vegas.
2. The accommodation was in Circus Circus, one of the good hotels to stay in Vegas.
3. It includes South Rim Grand Canyon.
1. The bus which was given to us was not comfortable. The seats were not clean or comfortable either.
2. The tour is organized by some Chinese guys, but as it is becoming popular, you guys should improve on the bilingual tour guides. The English of the trip lead was very difficult to understand.
Fully packed itinerary, it was good that we stayed in Las Vegas for 2 nights before we started with this trip. It's because the hotel Circus Circus is a world in itself, with its free circus shows running every fifteen minutes or so, and the large games play area for adults and kids alike, so much so that we spent our entire first day post lunch in this area of the hotel! We also received two free rides at the indoor Adventuredome park, which was fun. Next day we departed early in the morning for Grand Canyon South Rim and stopped there for a while before proceeding to watch the IMAX movie where we spent more time for lunch as well. Although we did not see the movie, we got time to relax after brisk walking to take in as many sights as possible in the Grand Canyon. We also saw Hoover Dam on the way, which was a great attraction in itself. On the way to Los Angeles, they made stops at shopping outlets, where most of the people shopped for discounted merchandise. All in all, complete value for money and our guide was good too.
The tour saves you the hassle of driving. I think the value is the cost of travel and stay. The hotel is at the far end of the strip, basic accommodation, but for the price, I would say it's worth it. It would be nice if we stayed at Grand Canyon longer. We wanted to watch the IMAX but ended up with no time, as we have to look for the location.
The accommodation is on the "you get what you pay for" side. But with a full packed secnd day, a good bed is all you need.
The bus we were in did not have a functioning bathroom, so there were instances when passengers had to hold it for 2 hours or so. This takes away the fun of enjoying meals as you do not know how soon you would be seeing a rest stop.
One has to buy the buffet promo, otherwise you won't have much option when the bus stops at buffet restaurant. It is quite a walk to go to the nearest restaurant.
Our driver was very skilled, smooth ride, navigated traffic very well I think.
Do not expect full translation during trip, remember, this is a toured geared to Chinese tourists.
On the overall, for the price we paid $260 plus $7 per day per person, for 2 people, this was a good deal, I would take it again but be prepared on food and other activities.
We had a wonderful time. James, our tour guide was great, always so cheerful. We did the optional night tour and the Grand Canyon West rim. We had a fine time on the night tour, going to the Venetian, Bellagio, and the old section of Las Vegas. It was a great experience getting to stay for three hours at the West rim. The views were magnificent. The rib lunch there was very delicious. The only thing I didn't care for was the buffet place. It was okay. Everything else was great though. I highly recommend this tour.
It was an awesome trip. Good bus, nice hotel stay, nice view from hotel, cool travel and wonderful buffet. Guide was really good. Worth paying for the trip. Cheap and best. I would like to visit 1 more time. Thanks to TakeTours.
El tour fue muy agradable y la relacion calidad precio es excelente. Muy cumplidos con los horarios y los lugares visitados espectaculares. Tienes la opcion de escoger entre multiples opciones y el guia siempre esta dispuesto a ayudarte. Recomendado. - The tour was very nice and it is good value for money. Very punctual with the itinerary and the places visited were spectacular. You have the option to choose from multiple options and the tour guide is always willing to help. Recommended. Thank you!!
The tour is good but i just have some things to point out.
The hotel is a bit of a walk from the Las Vegas boulevard. I would appreciate more time in Grand Canyon, or at least drop by the visitor center. And same with Hoover Dam, but it would have been cooler if we got nearer and not just near the bridge.
Good itinerary, very well schedules.
In my opinion, the chocolate factory and the outlet was a waste of time. I also think that additional fees such as the service fees should be better stated in the ads.
Perfect tour for families, excellent itinerary, planning, and execution. Appreciate the tour guide for being very specific on timing, which helped everybody to enjoy all planned places. Also, appreciate the guide's transparency in telling facts upfront. Good descriptions in English. Nice opportunity to meet so many people. Our family enjoyed it very much. My kid was extremely happy and enjoyed this trip, we enjoyed expressing many areas we visited, rather than buckling him in child car seat and nobody talked to him while driving.
Really appreciated the tour. My parents and families had a great time during the Las Vegas and Grand Canyon trip. They all loved it. The only thing is my cousin wished that tour guide explained more in English since she does not understand Chinese.
We took the South Rim tour for the Grand Canyon. The first day was just getting to Las Vegas. The bus ride wasn't that bad, it was pretty comfortable. It had good air conditioning. Our tour guide was Mars. We loved him, he was hilarious and spoke equal amounts of English and Chinese. He said the same things also.
We didn't take any of optional tours and other optional things. Before getting to our hotel on the first day, we stopped at the free buffet. We did have to pay Mars $1 per person for the buffet so, it technically wasn't free, but a lot cheaper than you can possibly get. The buffet was just the usual Asian buffet. Not that great. We got to our room at Circus Circus after. It was pretty nice. Two beds for two people, one room. We slept in the same bed though.
Second day, we had a 5 hour drive on another bus to the Grand Canyon, we had to go with a different tour guide just for this day. We had an hour there. It felt kind of rushed. We were also starving. We didn't stop for food until the halfway mark home. It was Popeye's in a convenience store. We only got half an hour to eat. We got to see Hoover Dam on the way back after though.
The third day on the way home, we got Mars again and stopped by the Chocolate Factory. They advise you to not buy chocolates for presents, it will melt. Then, half way back to Los Angeles, we stopped at Barstow Outlet. You get a discount sticker for being on the tour at the stores, including at Michael Kors, and Coach. You get about an hour or an hour and half to shop and eat. There's not much to eat there except for this tiny "food court." It's basically one business trying to run 3 different kinds of food stores. There's hot dogs, sandwiches, salad, and pizza. After shopping, you meet back in the center of the parking lot and may have to change buses depending where your home stop is. We had to change to a different bus.
It was a good trip. It might've have been more enjoyable with more tours but we were on a budget and wanted more time to ourselves. It felt short for a 3 day trip, since we were on the bus most of the time from getting to the Canyon and back.
I highly recommend this tour. The hotel was good, had queen size beds, was clean, and had a lot of things to do inside. We we were also given two free meals, so the price this trip is so worth it. So if you are looking for a cheap tour but enjoyable, this is the way to go. I noticed also that a few other nationalities aside from Chinese are taking this tour now, when this is mainly a Chinese company.
For people with a low budget, it was a really great tour as its over-standard service surprised me. Starting from the good hotel rooms, to good transportation. The tour offered my basic needs about what I needed to know in the region, because I had only 1 week in Los Angeles. A short tour with 3 days is enough for me. I would recommend this tour to my friends if they visit America in the future. Cheers.
I had a great time on this trip. Our tour guide took care of us, I was satisfied with the hotel, and Grand Canyon was amazing! I just wish we could've stayed longer there. I would definitely, recommend this trip to anyone!
Very affordable. The hotel room in Circus Circus was beyond expectations. We expected dark and dodgy but we got spacious and very comfortable. We each had a queen-sized bed. The hotel itself has loads to do, especially for children.
The trip to the Grand Canyon could be better. We left at 5:00am and only spent two hours there. In total about 10 hours of travel to Grand Canyon.
No toilets in the bus either, but stops are frequent enough for this not to be a problem.
The tour was good. A lot of places were covered in 3 days. I would recommend two improvements. There were frequent changes in bus and seating during the tour which made it a bit uncomfortable. In total we had to ride 5 buses in 3 days. Also, the Grand Canyon timings are not suitable. The bus starts from Vegas at 5am which is a bit difficult especially if you have kids.
The tour was really good , a lot of places were covered in the short duration of three days. I highly recommend this tour . Tour guide, Allan, was really good. The accommodation in hotel Circus Circus was superb. This time TakeTours company gave us additional free lunch buffets twice , food was really good and I liked that many options for vegetarians were available. Also we got several discount coupons to be redeemed in the hotel.
My girlfriend and I took this trip during our spring break. We expected to see a lot of older Chinese people because the pick up location was Chinatown Senior Center. But to our pleasant surprise, there was actually a diverse mixture of ethnicity and ages. The trip is very affordable especially if you can sit through hours and hours of Chinese tour guide talking. He was bilingual, but mostly spoke in Mandarian Chinese. To be honest, if you want your business to grow even bigger you need to branch out from just targeting the Chinese community. There were so many different people on the tour. The hotel accommodations were all right, but way too far off the strip so we had to get taxis every time we wanted to get to the strip so it was expensive. We didn't really have much time at the other sight seeing events cause we were always pressed for time. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap getaway trip!
Really enjoyed the trip. It was a well planned and executed tour.
The accommodation was the best and the tour guide/ driver were polite, cooperative and always ready to help. A tour to look forward to!
It was my mom's first experience to the U.S., and she would like to explore other cities... So I found this website, slightly read through all the reviews, and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, WE REALLY ENJOYED IT out there! It was definitely worth the money; the hotel (Circus Circus) was good, the bus was clean, and we even received 2 free buffets in a Chinese restaurant! The tour guide, named Austin, was funny, entertaining, helpful, and speaks a very good English. Me, my sister, and my mom would definitely take this tour again for our next vacation! P.S. Each passenger needs to give $6 tip per day.. and I would say it's no big deal because it was such a good trip/experience! I have no idea why some people are complaining!
Nice trip! I have been to Las Vegas several times before, but not to the Grand Canyon. That's the reason why I booked this trip.. to save gas, driving time, and to see the Grand Canyon. The tickets were cheap and included hotel. There are service fees of $6 per person/per day...some may not know about it.. Good thing I saw the small print about it when I booked my tickets online. I wished we could've spent more time at the Grand Canyon. It was a long bus ride, and by the time we got to Hoover Dam, it was already dark. But now we know where it is, and we can go there next time on our own. We didn't do the buffet where the bus took us, there is a T.G.I.F. restaurant next to it. We also ended up going to Albertson's, a local grocery store, and got food from there. Our tour guide was Berry. He spoke a lot of Chinese and by the time he tried translating into English, we couldn't really understand it. But, all you can really do in the bus is NAP! =)
This tour is provided by Seagull Travels therefore when you are waiting at the Chinatown pick up/drop off area remember to look for a yellow bus with a Seagull logo on it. Overall, I found the tour was very good as it covered everything listed on the itinerary, which was amazing. A tip for people who do not want to eat their buffet lunch for $15 per person- there is a T.G.I.F. around the block. For those of you who wish to boil water remember to bring your own kettle as the hotel does not provide a kettle, however there is a mini mart just outside the hotel. About the guide explanation, as I am able to understand both Mandarin and English I personally fell the Mandarin part was more detailed than the English one. Lastly I would like to thank Mr. Li, our guide, for a wonderful tour! =D
Overall, the tour was good. A few things for the readers:
As one of the other reviewers mentioned, -the tour guide- was marketing for the show tickets, Grand Canyon West Rim and the helicopter tour.
She did not tell anything about the South Rim, and I am sure some people ended up paying more money. We boarded a different bus from the same tour operator from Vegas to South Rim.
The South Rim spot looked like a walking trail, and I did not see any official information center building near by. I am not sure if that is the best view of Grand Canyon.
We were given 45 minutes to see the Grand Canyon. After the Grand Canyon, we were taken to Hoover Dam, but the stop was not on Hoover Dam- it was a bridge in front of the Dam from where you can see the Dam.
Now for food- we are vegetarians, and on our way to Los Angeles-Vegas they stopped at a buffet in Vegas which was $15, but we got our food to go from Olive Garden.
On the way from Vegas - Grand Canyon they stopped at McDonald's after visiting Grand Canyon, but we got pizza from Pizza hut.
Accommodation- Circus Circus was okay for the price we paid for the tour, but the hotel did not even have complimentary coffee.
Extras- I took the night tour for $25 per person, which covered a few important places. I think you can walk down the strip from the hotel and take a taxi on your way back for $10 and see more places. But not sure how much it will cost to go to Fremont Street on your own which is included in the night tour.
I ended my tour at Las Vegas and flew back directly from Vegas. I checked out of my room in the morning and left my luggage at the bell desk for a fee of $2 each person in the room. I then spent the whole day walking around Vegas.
I hope my review helps. I would recommend this package for the people visiting Las Vegas and Grand Canyon for the first time.
I really really enjoyed everything in this tour. The group, including tour guide and driver, were like one big family!!! Everything was taken care by the organizer for our comfort. I was sad when we only had one hour in South Rim because it's too far away from Las Vegas. If you visit West Rim you have 4-5 hours but I really wanted to visit the South side of Grand Canyon. Other than that, it was just a completely perfect tour!!! Even with the difficult time the tour organizer had due to the government shutdown, they communicated with us very well and provided us with the most up to date information, which was really great. Highly recommended!!! Tour guide was really knowledgeable and helpful, and again, the driver was really focused on the safety.
I have to say, I enjoyed this trip! The buffet was fair, but you don't have to buy it if you don't want it, there were other places close by if you preferred something else. I met some terrific people from different countries! My only complaint was that you could not use the bathroom on the bus! We had to wait until it made a stop and the tour guide would get upset if you made that request! There were those who were elderly and children on this bus! Restrooms should be available! As for the accommodations and the tour of the Grand Canyon, it was fantastic! I would do this again, but I won't drink coffee before the trip!
Very nice tour!
Buses were nice, accomodation very good (Circus Circus hotel). There was a stop at chinese buffet in Henderson (15$ per person), it was nice too (I don't know why many reviews say it was awful).
To mention some unpleasant things: many unplanned charges (e.g. service fee 6$ per person per day, transportation to grand canyon, all activities). The tour is cheap, it's ok, but all payments should be mentioned when booking.
Also, there's lot of chinese language. First day guide, Stanley was speaking english and chinese equal time. But on the second day, Sasha spoke mostly in chinese.
On the first day, we were transported to Vegas and had half of the day free time. There was optional (non-free) Night Vegas Tour and optional Vegas shows.
For the second day, there were 3 route choices for grand canyon:
- Western Frontier - this is actually not grand canyon, but you can fly from here on a helicopter (~170$) and there's a small gun range here (80-100$). There was also a small cowboy show at the cowboy rancho.
- Western Rim (80$, includes lunch) - here choices were for helicopter with boating on Colorado, sky walk on the air bridges.
- South Rim - this was cheap, but it's very far from vegas: 5 hours one way, so you need to spend 10 hours in a day for transportation. And you only spend 1 hour there.
On the third day we visited Chocolate Factory (which is actually just a store with lots of M&Ms) and the near Cactus Garden. The garden is not large, but it's very nice.
Overall, the tour was nice and interesting.
It was very well worth for the money spent, although there is a lot of room for improvement. There was never a mention that there will not be a stop for breakfast. We got picked up at 6:45 in China Town, and I dont expect to do my breakfast earlier than that. The same goes for the second day as well. Apart from this, they did really stick to the timing so we could spend more time in Las Vegas. The tour guide spoke little English. He didn't talk much apart from letting us know the time for next stop. I guess this is all we get from a semi guided tour. However my wife thought he was funny. We thought the tour was very rushed, given the amount of distance covered, this is the best we could get. May be we could go on our own the next time, now that we have been introduced to these places. Having said all this, end of the trip, I am a satisfied customer mainly for making it to all these places and still saved a lot of money.
It's just OK. Arrived at Las Vegas in afternoon and have the evening free if you don't join the city tour or go to shows. Extremely long travel hours to Grand Canyon south rim. Gathered at 5am, got to Grand Cnayon by 11:30am with only 45 minutes at the south rim. Too short for such a site! Tour guide did not provide any information on any of the sight other than the products she was selling. She talked nonstop for hours to sell the city tour and Vegas shows. The PA/microphone was so loud that our ears hurt and could not sleep. She demanded service fee on the second day!
The tour was overall good. The stop at outlet was more than expected. Also while returning the bus stopped at a buffet point and it was very difficult for those who were not taking buffet just standing outside in the sun. Rest all was good. I recommend this tour.
Overall, an EXCELLENT trip for a reasonable price!!! We just need to be aware of certain things so that there are no surprises/disappointments. I was not in the trip, but 4 members from my family were there! Though the tour was for South Rim, the tour guide had tried to convince (almost force!) my family to take the West Rim tour which is quite expensive due to SkyWalk. Glad my family had a phone so that I was able to tell them to "strongly" push back on sticking to South Rim. For those who do not know this, they may end-up spending more money on West Rim. Tickets for V show @ Vegas were available Circus-Circus front desk (where you stay!) for a discounted price (even lesser for cash payments!). Grand Canyon IMAX show is not that good, and the ticket price (with lunch) is a bit expensive. I would prefer if an extra hour is spent at Canyons rather than at IMAX having lunch. Also, the trip was tiring due to several hours of travel every day. If there is time, 3-night/4-day trip would be a better option. Other than these things, MY FAMILY HAD A GREAT TIME for a very reasonable price!
Excellent tour experience. Totally 5 people traveled with me. Including 2 kids and 2 seniors. Find it very convenient and Tour Guide, bus & accommodation are excellent. Had a wonderful experience. Again I explore some more tours.
Our tour guide was very patient. I can really say he did some research about the history of the places we visited. I always recommend to the first timers to take GotoBus whenever they want to go for vacation. It is really easy, cheap and for sure you will enjoy it.
Nice Tour.Enjoyed a lot.We are missing sometime in vegas so our guide find us.Both the guide and driver.Lot of things cover in 3 days.I strongly recommend this tour to other parents came from india.we are stayed in circus circus and it is a very good hotel.
buena relacion calidad-precio!
hay que estar muy atentos al guia, porque sino uno se pierde... no esperan!
Para ir al Caņon (5 hpras de ida, 5 horas de vuelta para estar 40 minutos?) Despues de tanto autocar no lo creo!
I bought this tour package for my parents. Everything is fine. The price is quite low, so I didn't expect anything fancy. Overall staff and tour guide are very friendly and helpful. The bus is very nice and clean. The hotel is far from everything so you may need to take a taxi or buy another tour package from them. My parents are happy with the trip, until the last day. One thing that I think you should be aware is the trip back to LA. Instead of dropping my parents at 6.30 pm at ranch market, Valencia as scheduled, the bus drop another customers at the different spots (including airport) and eventually come back to drop off my parents at 8.30 pm. One and a half hour late. They should inform customer that it would be this delay on the way back!
It was my first time to do a bus tour, and as a newbie i don't really know what to expect. But my friend and I were delighted on how organized the tour was. There were no problems getting around places, no confusion or anything. Everything was smooth. Our tour guide, Ian, was helpful and accommodating. Would definitely do it again soon!
Overall a pretty good tour. I recommend for those who are going on a budget. Note that you have to pay an additional $6 per day as tip to the tour guide and driver. The only negative for me was the horrible lunch box ($11) at the IMAX theater place.
This is our 4th time with taketours and I recommend it to several of my co-employees because of the price and our recent 3-day LV last weekend. Our guide Sam Chao is very accomodating and helpful. The first stop at Barstow to use the toilets is better because there are plenty of choices for us to buy food than in the fashion outlet which is so near to LV already. The Tanger outlet stay in going home should be shorter so people can reach LA early and not caught with so much traffic in the afternoon or early evening. Besides, there's not much bargain there anymore except for the Coach handbags. The Circus Circus hotel is far batter than the Stratosphere. Lots of things to do, see and much, much cleaner. It is a very happy place because of many children around. Lots of places to eat too and one doesn't need to go out anymore. I certainly will recommend taketours to my family and friends.
My parents came from India to US for the first time and took this amazing tour. They were extremely satisfied with this tour. The tour guide took good care of them and was very cooperative.A very well managed tour and worth the money spend
This is a great tour. Our family of 4 went on this tour from LA and we are very happy with it. I recommmend this tour to any one who wants to see a lot within a short time and with a small budget, and doesn't want to drive.
A great deal for the price. Kiana, our tour guide was great. Accomodation at circus circus was good. The 2 hr break at outlet malls was a waste of time, we could have reached Vegas earlier, had it been a lunch stop only. Overall, highly recommended tour.
The best thing of the tour is the caring and informative tour guide who introduced to us many of the historical background of the attractions. Overall speaking the tour is good but you have to be prepared for the long-hour bus drive as going by bus to another state takes time! But it's worth it when you can see one of the seven wonders in the world. And with such a low price, I definitely will recommend this tour to my friends.
Tour was great. Great way to see Las Vegas and Grand Canyon in just two days. The bus has a bathroom, but no one can use it because of the bad air exchanger they have. Leo was very nice and gave us tips on where to go, what to eat. The stops at the shopping outlets (going there and coming back) was 2 hours long and borring. Was more interested in seeing Vegas then shopping. The price is perfect but note that if you want to go to Grand Canyon free, you will have to go on the south side. It takes a lot longer then if you go on the west side and that is 80$ extra. I took the helicopter ride. It was amazing but not worth 200$. We were only in the helicopter no more then 10 minutes. There is 10 minutes river cruise if you take the helicopter tour. That is neat. You get to be right in the Canyon. They allowed us plenty of time at the Grand Canyon (even with the helicoter tour). When you come back, they stop at a Chinese buffet for $11 per person. Don't go there. Probably the worst Chinese buffet I've been too. Not too many choices. There is a fiew more restaurants around but most of them only opens at 10:30 and the buses arrives at 10. You would still be able to eat and get back on the bus at 11. Over all, I really enjoyed my trip. It is very well planned. If you don't feel like planing anything and driving, this is the tour for you.
It was a great experience booking a tour with taketours.com We had a 3 day tour from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon south rim. My daughters hae fun on this tour, also my friends who came with us. We stayed in the Stratosphere Hotel in Vegas . It was nice but when we went to get our room key from the tour guide, I felt so nauseated from the smell of cigarettes in the hotel lobby. After getting the key we waited for the elevator... I got dizzy and got sick. I cant stand the smell. Even with this, I thought the tour was great.
It was nice experience except the fact that it is very hectic as they try to cover the distance asap so ppl can return to LV to play in the casino. The south rim was a hectic journey as we could get to see the GC point for 1 hr only which is not worth. Apart from that the tour guide "Bella' was extremely good and helpful. She was very polite and soft spoken however english needs to be improved. Its quite good tour considering the charges! Thanks and i suggest friends and ppl to try once to experience.
The tour is very well organized. Very nice accomidation in Stratosphere hotel. Guide communication is good, but little bit improvement might needed in English. The only negative point is response to the queries from the help desk is not good. Overall, very nice tour, well planned and organized under very reasonable budget.
This is our first time to join take tours and it was great. We enjoyed all the places we went to, although we stay only for short time, but it was worth it. Our tour guide and driver were good. I will recommend to family and friends. We will do it again.
We enjoyed the tour, the only regret that you omitted to mentioned in the exclusions: admissions fees in Grand Canyon for $69.00,Sky walk,Helicopter ride etc. Those are very important to know in advance so people are more aware in advance especially you require cash.
Very good experience;except for the tension when the bath room doorat Hotel Stratosphere got locked and there was no easy way to unlock.By the time help from hotel came,I could find an innovative way, using my belt pin.
Very Good Tour. It was nicely co-ordinated and the place was really nice. I am planning to go again. Only one request to organizer is that please check how many chineese speaking guys are there in tour. If they constitute atleast one third then only speak in chineese.
A very pleasant and must-do tour in Los Angeles. Only pity is the transformer stopped during the tour, you need patience for the long queue, waiting over an hour. Try to avoid peak time. Anyway, do not miss it!
I read a ton of reviews online that this service was hit or miss and when it misses it's terribly bad, but the price was so perfect for where I wanted to go that I had to give it a try. I bought 3 tickets for the Vegas-Grand Canyon tour with the Buy 2 and Get 1 Free deal and went over Labor Day weekend Sunday - Tuesday so each of the tickets I paid for was $99. Split that up between 3 girls and that's $67 for transportation and two nights in the Stratosphere Hotel.
We drove up to the LA pick up spot at a Best Western and despite worries that this trip was so affordable we might receive poor customer service or a janky tour bus, it was nothing like that to our pleasant surprise! Our tour was booked through TakeTours and our tour guide Leo and the bus driver who I called Mr. Brooklyn for his accent, were very personable, funny and concerned about everyone's enjoyment of the tour. Leo had a thick accent of course, since most people they serve our Chinese tourists, but you could fully understand his English. He would just say things like "Branch" instead of "Brunch", but the bus driver was American and could help him out when he was unclear on a word. Which was hardly. The bus was clean with A/C, in 100 degree weather though, it doesn't always get everyone as cool as they'd like. People in the back of the bus complained. It had a bathroom, that they recommended we didn't use or else we'd smell "pee pee and poo poo" for the remainder of the trip. No one used it and we made enough stops to where you didn't have to.
Our tour guide and driver were also very organized assigning everyone seat #s that they changed daily so that people could move around. Checking into the hotel was a breeze. Leo just handed us room keys and told us which elevators to take. They also had wake up calls pre set to each person's room to make sure they woke up on time and got on the bus on time. Our room was clearly on a smoking floor, but we expected basic accommodations. The room was very clean, no complaints there. Traveling with foreigners: you definitely have to be ready for the fact that your Chinese companions will be rude in the way that they cut in line, rush on and off the bus and don't really say excuse me or pleasantries like that. Maybe 1 or 2 out of our entire bus would say "no you go ahead". If you're in the front of the bus, people from the back will be off before you. But they don't seem to do it to be rude. They just do it matter of factly. Someone twice your age will run you over. Be prepared. But everyone was nice and by the end of the trip they wanted to take pictures with me and my friends. We of course got into conversations about where they were from. So it was overall enjoyable.
My girls and I had the best time ever and I definitely plan to use this service again. You have to anticipate that this is a very affordable service so you have to make sure you're on top of your trip details, ask a lot of Qs, make sure you're getting what you want. You have to be on top of things and persistent. I made a change to our itinerary and it took a few days and phone calls to their inconvenient call center that some times hangs up on you when you're waiting. But like I said, I anticipated poor customer service and prepared for that.
So because of that my friends and I had a blast !! Vegas was so much fun... we separated from the group and partied with friends. The Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon...from what I've read about these places there a lot of activities you can partake in, BUT TakeTours/Seagull has pre set plans and excursions that fit in with the bus schedule so don't think you'll have a lot of time to explore. Biking, hiking or white water rafting is not an option. You have 50mins or less at each tourist spot and they are basic tourist locations. You don't get to experience the best parts of the location, by no means is this an ADVENTUROUS trip, but you GET TO SEE all these great places IN PERSON. It's worth it for someone seeing it the first time or someone who wants to go with a tour! We saw the panoramic views of the Grand Canyon, which made us all want to come back on our own and see more. We saw an Imax movie about the Grand Canyon which did the same. Popcorn + seasoning options were A+++ by the way. We were able to stop at the National Geographic Visitor Center Gift shop...I bought postcards and magnets...and was this close to getting a tiny bear fur-like zip up for my brand new niece, but I had to get back on the bus.
Amazing trip overall! I will be touring with Take Tours again! Maybe on the East Coast next time.
Because this was so cheap I was worried it might not exist! But it did ... And great value for money. The hotel accommodation is great (in Stratosphere) although the hotel is a bit further down the strip than others but you can walk or use all the money you saved to get a taxi. The random stops on the bus are a bit pointless, would rather have just been on our way. And Chinese food at 10am wasn't quite what we had planned but oh well. All in all a fantastic way to see Vegas and the grand canyon on a tiny budget. And we weren't 21 but still had a good time in Vegas for the 2 nights we were there. Totally worth it!
I read all the reviews before booking, so I went with zero expectations. I would say for the price you pay, it's worth it even though it's hectic. You have only an hour at the south rim. The chocolate factory and cactus garden is a complete joke, what a waste of time! Shopping at the Barstow outlets was great. Our tour guide Leo was good. The tour was full of non-english speaking asians except us and a couple other families. The tour guide collected the tip for 3 days right after we got on the bus. Hotel was good, we took the taxi to the strip.
We had a great time. Tour guide has a thick chinese accent but it wasn't that hard to understand. Hotel was clean and very near to the strip. You can walk from the hotel going to the strip if you want to. That would take you about 15-20mins. There's also a bus station outside the hotel.
We didn't get the night tour because it's pricey. You can have your own adventure. It's easy to go around the strip.
South rim has the best view! Glad we took this trip even if it took us 5 hours from vegas to get there.
The outlet shopping was great also. There were a lot of store brands - Bath and Body, Gap, Banana Republic, RL, Calvin Klein , etc
Just came back from 3day LA-Vegas-Grand Canyon trip. We are locals so we just wanted to give it a try. I can say you get what you pay for. We had fun, especially Day 2 with Mr. Tour guide turned magician Paul :)
Tiring 12hours drive and staying 1hour at Grand Canyon is kinda short but that's what the schedule is.
The only negative I can tell is the hassle for Day 1, which we left abt 30mins coz there where family who was late and when we arrived at Stratosphere-Vegas, our room is still not ready so we have to wait 30mins. Day 3 on the way back to LA, some kids went restroom so we have to wait again. But overall, it was a good trip.
The 3-day Vegas/Grand Canyon tour was awesome. I've been to Vegas plenty of times, but never the Grand Canyon, but this was the first time for my daughters so I thought a tour bus would be a good idea since it was more than just Vegas. I'm very pleased with the experience. My girls enjoyed the tour and all the stops. I would recommend this to anyone. I have no complaints.
The bus could not travel 2 miles without shutting down 3 times. Had to wait 1+ hr. for another. This was the 2nd time I experienced bus problems, both times on bus # 777, although each was a different bus. Apparently, they duplicate bus #s. Otherwise, had a good time. We opted to stay in LV the 2nd day for self-tour, took advantage of buffets and a show.
The trip was great, all of us was very happy and satisfied. We already planning our next trip sometime this year.
The tour guides were very accomodating, you wont get bored while travelling.
We were kind upset about the restroom, when my 6 years old niece was not allowed to use the restroom. The kid waited 2 hours before she can use the bathroom. Hopefully you have accomodations for children like her like a urine trainer basin.
In behalf of my group we would like to thank you for a great trip and we will see each other very soon.
The tour is worth every penny. Tour guides were giving all information about the places we were visiting.. Most places they stopped close to the attractions, so we dont have to walk that much. Optional Night tour may not be that worthy, but for people who cant travel by themselves, it is a good option.
This tour is ideal for those who are on a short visit and want to cover Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. You may not get a lot of time to spend at Grand Canyon (South) but just enough to absorb the massive nature's wonder. Be prepared to spend a lot of time in the bus if you chose GC South tour on the second day. The tour guide (Sam) and driver (Ken) worked very hard to cover all the sight seeings in just 3 days and we thought they did an amazing job. We will definetely recommend this for anyone who is looking for quick visit to Vegas and GC from L.A.
This trip is value for money. It may not be comparable to lets say staying at the Venetian or the Bellagio but for the price it is worth every cent. The Stratosphere is decent though located away from the strip however has its own share of attractions including the ride to the top of the tower as well as the amazing rides - Vegas without the net. The tour is well planned and executed and the our tour guide Jack was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we didnt like was the very early lunch on the last day. Lunch at 1000 am is just not happening. Recommended for those who want to enjoy Vegas in a short period without the hassles of having to plan anything.
The tour is worth every dollar you spend in terms of the hotel you get and the places you get to visit. However, please be warned that the optional night tour at Las Vegas is not worth it. $25 dollars for every free show. Oh come on, you can pay $7 for 24 hours unlimited bus ride and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel (and hotels that you are gonna visit). Personally I do not like how the tour guide tried to influence us to go West Rim instead of South Rim of Grand Canyon. They might be equally good but the tour guide compared them like gold nugget to rugged rock. You have pay additional to go west rim though. Lastly, we'd appreciate if we could have more quiet time on bus. I'd recommend this trip for tight budget and "greedy" tourists who would like to go many places at one time.
The tour was really well planned. It starts and complete on time.
Grand Canyon is just not worth the effort. It is not at all great. Chocolate factory and cactus garden is just to kill some time.
The hotel in Vegas is good and the guide helps you with most of the planning.
In short, it is worth...
thumbs up for this tour, my whole family enjoyed it and the tour leader managed well and also very informative, only thing is the time in Grand Canyon is pretty short. overall, good trip and for the price and the package therein, no complaints!
I booked this tour for my relatives, and it is a little hectic and different from the listing. Instead of the South Rim, they were taken to the West Rim. Price is good for all the places they were taken too, even if they had to wake up super early to drive to the different locations.
Though hectic, the travel was great. The trip to Grand Canyon was awesome. The whole tour was very well organized and the deal is good. I would recommend the tour. However, the tour guide on the first day was speaking almost non-stop and being repetitive, which was a bit annoying.
I have taken 5 trips via gotobus; Grand Canyon west rim (one night inside G/canyon), San Fransisco, Lake thao & King Canyon, Yellow stone 5 day tour & Grand canyon s/rim. We all are so happy. All tours are well organized; drivers/guides are very nice.
It was a great family trip! Everyone enjoyed this trip. It was the first time going to Vegas for my kids ( teens). The Grand Canyon National Park will be our unforgettable family memory. Our bus guide, Paul showed magic in a bus. He used to be a professional magician. Thank you for everything!!!!
This was our first booking with TakeTours on the 3 days Las Vegas. It was well planned and tour guide did a great job and the hotel was great. Good service all round, also booked other tours highly recommended Thanks
This was my 2nd tour with gotobus. Obviously the experience of 1st tour encouraged me to take gotobus 2nd time. I had 3 days tour to Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. It was great and memorable. The tour manager was excellent and the whole program planned by tour was excellent.
My husband and I (young couple, seasoned travelers)booked this trip at the end of of our westcoast Annivesry week. We missed our bus and was nicely placed on another. Which wasn't easy for the tour guide to work out with a sold out bus but he found a way to connect us with our bus! We had 3 tour guides in all due to the mix up and they all were sooo awesome. Friendly and funny! They showed us a side of Vegas we would not have found on our own. We took the extra night tour and it was more then worth it. They packed so much into a small amount of time. The bus did break down but it wasnt a big deal, they made up for it. Room was big and in a cool hotel. We had more then enough time at the locations. Can't see how anyone could give less then 5stars. You pay pennies for a full tour, bus ride and hotel stay. Now back on the east coast we're ready to book another getaway. Thanks sooo much for an amazing vacation!
Good: Cost. We have booked for 6 people party and it was a good deal for Las Vegas/Grand Canyon South rim tour.
Needs improvements: Very first day two breaks in a row was not necessary. The outlet store shopping visit could have been combined with the lunch break. Shopping trip was not necessary at the beginning when you took us back again on the last day.
Need more time at South Rim, you allowed only one hour for sight seeing. Need more time at Hoover Dam as well.
The last day, two breaks in a row...Chocolate factory visit for 1.5 hour and right after that brunch break...You could have combined both in one. It was too early for brunch when most of the passengers have eaten breakfast at the hotel an hour ago.
Mandatory service charge $6 per person per day is excessive specially when we are a group of six people...We did not get any special service or treatment. In my opinion up to $3 per passenger per day is reasonable. The guide and the driver were not of much value that deserves this type of excessive service charges !!
Good: Tour cost is reasonally priced. Hotel stay is also good.
Tour Guide: Our tour guide over knowledged and kept talking the whole way. It was a little annoying sometimes. Also the mode of narrating the info was not very pleasant, however, our guide from Vegas to Grand Canyon was good.
Improvement: Allow people to eat in the bus. Tour guide did not allow even eating ice creams in the bus. Don't charge service charge for kids
This was my first time on using taketours.com. I enjoyed it very much and taking the helicopter ride to the bottom of the Grand Canyon was an experience that I will not forget. Overall there were some areas that could have improved but since everyone in my party had a good time I won't complain.
This was my 4th time with this company. I am very happy and recomend to all my friends to take the opportunity of the companies good deals and services. Gides and drivers are very friendly and nice. I am very happy and I will take another tour to go...
I took the 3 day/ 2 night tour to Las Vegas with my sister and my daughter. We had a wonderful experience overall. I wish we had partonized other cuisines other than just Chinese though. It got kind of tiring not having any variety and eating the same thing over and over. My biggest complaint is with the choice of movie shown on the return trip. Knowing that there were quite a few children on the bus they showed a R-rated movie. It was full of violence and cursing. I have a 10 yr old daughter and was quite appalled by what we were subjected to listen to because of their choice!! Fortunately, I had my daughter's portable DVD player and I opted to try to drown it out by letting her look at her own movies that are free of all the filth! Please remember if you are travelling with children to have and alterrante activity for them that could use headphones should the need arise to protect their ears, it won&'t block all the cursing out 100% but it'll sure minimize the amount they will be hearing. The tour itself was great.
This is my first time to join a tour with gotobus and it was a wonderful experience. The driver and the tour guide were very good and highly organized. I just didn't like eating chinese food all through the tour. I wish there are other types of food to choose from. My hubby and my cousin joined me in the tour and we found it enjoyable. We chose free day on Day 2 and didn't join the group to grand canyon; but on our free day we were able to play the slot machines at the Stratosphere. That night we were able to see the Variety Show at the Planet Hollywood. And it was great to have purchased our tickets through our tour guide which saved us a lot of time and effort. Overall, it was a great experience and I recommend this tour to my friends. It was a safe trip to and from the destination. Thanks much.
The value for the money was beyond my expectations on this 3 Day 2 Night LV, Grand Canyon trip. Although I paid for going to West Rim and night tour, but it was worth the little extra. I like the places they brought us to, the comfy bus, hotel and information. The bus driver and the tour guide Daniel and Teng were friendly and helpful, especially Daniel, thank you.
The trip was very well planned and the total time for the tour was utilized to the maximum extent.. the tour guide planned the night tour on the first day very well as we were just in time for all the shows and didnt waste time waiting for the show to start... Also we got like round about 2hrs on the second day on the south rim hence that helped to enjoy the view... Also on the third day on the way back to LA the bus stopped at the shopping mall for round about 2 hrs which gave us enough time to shop (against the 40 mins while on our way to LV which is absolutely useless.. as its difficult to shop in such a small timeframe)... the only issue i found is that the tour guide stopped for lunch only at places which offered chinese food making it difficult to find food which we can enjoy... but that is still managebale.. it would had been good if he would had thought of all the passengers on the bus when it comes to food choices..
All in all... as for me.. the tour was worth each penny i spent... so i would recommend ppl with families and big groups to opt for this tour..
I had a good experience with a TakeTours tour to Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. I also took the local Las Vegas Tour. I am quite happy with the tour - considering the coverage and the cost. They has our stay at Stratosphere hotel, which made us convenient for us to visit top of tower to enjoy the rides there.
We traveled around 4-5 hrs to reach Grand Canyon South Rim. There we were provided only one hour of stay at that point. It would have been better if the tour operators could provide at least 2-2.5 hours at that point and cover multiple points near that area. Over all trip was nice and really enjoyable.
Thanks to Tour Guide Alan Chan who really maintained the tempo of tour and made us enjoy tour.
Our tour guide was very patient. I can really say he did some research about the history of the places we visited. I always recommend to the first timers to take GotoBus whenever they want to go for vacation. It is really easy, cheap and for sure you will enjoy it.
This was my 5th trip through Goto Bus. Whole 3 days was full of activities. Not even single moment was wasted in this trip. On top of it there was free entry to the top of Stratosphere. In the night it was breath taking view of Strip from here. No need to spend time on picking up car or booking accomodation or planning activities. It was very simple to book through GoTo, everything is taken care by them. I recommed this to many of my friends always.
Very well organized. Everything was on time. Leslie our tour guide was fab. We paid lot of extra money for additional west rim and helicopter tour.. but totally worth it. Once in a life time experience. Tour of hoover dam was good too. Tour had frequent rest room stops and sufficient time in each attraction. We even got enough time in vegas to catch broadways lion king!!
Our tour was filled with chinese people thus major commentary was in chinese and most restaurant stops were chinese. But that was ok. Not a big deal.
I would recommend this tour to everyone. My folks and I really enjoyed it.
On the first day, bus arrived at exactly 8am. Bus seats were fine although hubby didn't fit that much coz he's really a big guy but it was good enough. Andy and his partner were very good on giving directions and describing the tour for the day. Although they speak Chinese most of the time, it was fine. Accommodation at the Stratosphere Hotel in Vegas was reasonable enough.
On the second day, bus seats are narrower and I think, the bus on the first day was much better. We left on-time I guess. Trip was long but really worth. Hank is ok but Andy and his partner were better. He's not so approachable and talks less on the bus than the other guys. Grand Canyon South Rim is for sure much better than the West Rim that's why we didn't our tour plus we have to pay extra for it. We arrived at a reasonable time.
Third day was great too.
Over-all, price for this trip is the best!!! I am now a big fan of gotobus.com and we'll be taking more tours in the next few months. More power on you guys!
This tour is the most reasonable tour I've tried so far...Keep it up!
Please try having more time in Hoover and Grand Canyon. In the latter, explain more clearly the pathway to return to the bus parking..its quite confusing...I also hope we can use the toilet in the bus...
Generally this is tour is recommendable and worth doing in another state!
I recently took this tour and had a great time. The guide was very friendly and helpful. He took care of everything. The only recommendations I'd make is to have a little bit more time at Hoover Dam and get a better hotel. I, personally, did not like the Stratoshpere. Otherwise, it was fun and great. As for those who complain about the main language being Chinese, so what? They still translated into English. And I had plenty of time to get my pictures and I took lots of 'em. Plus they stop at the National Geographic Visitor Center and you can buy souvenirs there. This is my third bus tour in less than a year and my second one with this company. I'm a pretty satisfied customer.
Buying this tour I thought Vegas and Canyon for this price was a good deal, however, having tried the tour I gotta say it's so-so. If you don't speak Chinese, to be honest it stinks. The guide speaks 10 minutes in Chinese and 2 in English, movies in the bus are in Chinese too. Sometimes the guide asked well-educated Chinese to translate some words to English and if they couldn't that remained Chinese mystery for English-speaking tourists. Surprisingly, the guide didn't know what the Strip was. While in the bus I found out I had to pay extra 75 bucks because I was put into the bus going to the West Rim and there was an Indian Reservation in order to enter which you've got to pay. Only after making a row and pointing at my confirmation which said South Rim in black and white they settled the matter. In Vegas itself they tried to sell me a tour to Bellagio Fountains and similar stuff for 25 dollars. I have to admit that many Chinese dupes bought that.
Overall, if you are looking for a really budget traveling that's yours. If not, spend a bit more and get better service.
The tour was very well organized. we covered a lot of things in 3 days, the best thing is that the tour guide does everything for you so you do not have to stand in any line to buy tickets or get room key. However,I had no clue it it was a chinese thing, the guide spoke chinese first and much more English and when spoke English had a very heavy accent. Otherwise, everything was good, i would recommend this tour and I would go again to other places.
a lot of people gave very good reviews for this tour but i myself had a not so good an experience. my tour was made up of many chinese people and the tour guide made chinese the first language. english only came after and my guide speaks english not very well so many times i was very lost. i know sometimes it is about the tour guide not the tour itself that makes the difference so i will recommend you should check with the company if possible. for example request for a tour with more diverse nationalities so the chance that you have an English-fluent guide is higher. not sure if calling helps though. one more thing to share, if you are not chinese or don't speak chinese be prepared that chinese/cantonese will be heard all around. aside from that the tour is actually organized and you could visit beautiful grand canyon plus hoover dam. however stratosphere is out of the center of vegas so not very convenient to see the city.
It was a good deal and a great trip. Sam Cao did a very good job as a tour guide but he needs to speak more English than Chinese and at the last minutes changing the bus was a surprise for everyone, did not get informed so we can prepare to pack up stuff in advance.
The trip was very well planned and we opted for the optional tours in Vegas and it was very good. We could cover most of the Strip and the hotels are very good.I would recommend this tour to every one.Very good deal.
took a while for our guide to get organised with another bus, but after that, an excellent tour for an amazing price. optional tours available for a price - helicopter tour - brilliant - over grand canyon. Stratosphere excellent. Bus could have been a bit more modern. overall a great 3 days.
i had recently taken the Las Vegas grand canyon tour. Good deal and the tour guide Sam Guan was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend GOTOBUS TOUR for all visitors since you just have to worry about being on time rest is taken care by them.
My only criticism is one of the drivers who was very rude to some of the customers and was talking on his cell all the while driving. Which i think is highly irresponsible when you are responsible for so many lives.
We have nine people in our group and everyone of us enjoyed it very much. Thank you for posting all updated information on-line. It was very informative, it helped me made the decision for our big group. Please continue to expand more tours and keep easy reasonable fee. I definitely would recommend everyone I know to your company. I will continue visiting GotoBus.com for future tours.
Tour was no doubt good. We could cover lots of places in three days. Tour guide Lily was very helpful. This tour saved me a lot of money. Infact I have already recommended this tour to my friends. Only issue I could see was instead of going to choclate factory/botanical garden on the third day of the tour, we could have stayed one day at grand canyon and would have enjoyed sun set/sun rise at grand canyon. we had only 1 hour to view south rim we could have spent more time there if we would have stayed their for a night. rest every thing was good.
Tour was great and grand canyon west rim helicopter ride was awesome. It would be good if people can get clear idea about south rim and west rim while they are booking. I booked south rim without knowing the difference and then I changed to west rim on the prior day.
Hi,I had a fun time during the tour. The tour guide Lily made the tour well organized. She ensured that everything was taken care of during the tour. Her concern for our well-being was exceptional. Wish, we had gone to South Rim too. My suggestion that you guys should organize an exclusive South Rim tour. Overall my experience was good. I would recommend this tour. Thanks.
Great experience!! Definitely worth it. However, I really did not like the fact that people taking the helicopter tour had nearly no time afterwards in the Grand Canyon National Park. All the rest amazing!!
Amazing how much you can see just in 3 days. Perfect combination of guided tour and free time. However, people taking the helicopter tour should obtain more time to really enjoy the beauty of the Grand Canyon afterwards.
I have had several tours with gotobus and it has always been enjoyable and exciting. Every tour guide cares about everyone's safety and on time arrival and departure. The drivers are good and helpful. It is always a high end adventure. Thanks for the easy booking too.
I wasn't sure about this tour even after I booked it. It's just toooo cheap for the stay in Stratosphere for 2 nights. But it's real deal. This tour saved me a lot of money so I could have more money to play slot machine:)
