Day 1: Madrid - Trujillo - Lisbon(623 km)

We will depart from the bus terminal in Madrid at 8:00am, making our way to the city of Trujillo in the province of Caceres, Extremadura. We will have an hour and a half to explore all the beauty of the medieval center including the Plaza Mayor around which we can see many buildings which were built between the 14th and 16th centuries. The essential visit of Trujillo is definitely the Castillo de Trujillo or Trujillo Castle. Dare to climb the Old Town for a few minutes and you will find this well-preserved castle. We can visit the interior of the castle by spending 2.5 euros at own expenses and walk on the walls to admire the breathtaking views of Extremadura region and Plaza Mayor. Then we can try the local food - caldereta, a stew prepared with goats or sheep meat and truffles. From Trujillo, we will proceed to Portugal and reach its capital Lisbon in the early evening.

Day 2: Lisbon

After breakfast, we will join a sightseeing tour to see the beautiful city of Lisbon, visiting the old Alfama Quarter, the Jeronimos Monastery, the Tower of Belem, Padrao dos Descobrimentos (Monument of the Discoveries) and many other impressive monuments that the city has to offer. Then we will have own free time in the evening in Lisbon. Do not miss any opportuntiy to try famous pastel de nata (egg tart) - local culinary's iconic pastry. You can buy it in any coffee/bakery shop. Overnight in Lisbon.

    Tower of Belem

    This fortified tower off the coast of Lisbon, also known as the Tower of St. Vincent, was built to defend the city in the 16th century. It was built in the Portuguese Manueline style of architecture of the 16th century.

    Monument of Discoveries

    This monument is located at the mouth of Lisbon harbor, commemorating the age of exploration, when ships bound for the American continents in the west would pass through the Tagus estuary.

Day 3: Lisbon - Fatima - Lisbon(267 km)

In the morning, we will depart Lisbon for Fatima, where we will have free time to visit the Sanctuary of Fatima and the Church of the Santissima Trinidade before returning to Lisbon.

Day 4: Lisbon - Caceres - Seville(579 km)

After breakfast, we will return to Spain and go to the city of Caceres, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to explore this medieval city. Afterward, we will continue towards Sevilla, where we will eat dinner and stay the night.

Day 5: Seville

After breakfast in the hotel, we will take a city tour throughout Seville with a local guide, to admire this beautiful and also the largest city of Southern Spain. We will visit the Plaza de Espana, the Seville Cathedral, Maria Luisa Park, and Barrio Santa Cruz - the city's old Jewish Quarter. After the city tour we will have the afternoon off to rest or explore more on own. You can check out the inside of Seville Cathedral at own expenses, or visit the famous Giralda Bell Tower. Or we can go to Metropol Parasol, and then explore the Disrict of Triana - one of the city's most distinctive attractions. Afterwards we will enjoy dinner and spend night in Seville.

    On the riverbanks of Sevilla, Maria Luisa Park is a large public area that features lovely foliage, fountains, and walkways in the middle of this beautiful city. Within the park are many statues of famous Spanish figures.

    Plaza de Espana

    A large section of Maria Luisa Park in Sevilla, the Plaza de Espana is a large open space featuring buildings of Renaissance revival architecture. Most of the buildings are currently used for government purposes.

    Santa Cruz (Jewish Quarter)

    The barrio of Santa Cruz in Sevilla was once the city's Jewish Quarter, and is now the most popular tourist are in the city. The narrow, winding streets and alleyways of this neighborhood remind visitors of a labyrinth.

    Seville Cathedral

    (Outside Visit) The third-largest church in the world (and the largest cathedral), the Seville is a massive Gothic building. Each of its facades has multiple entrances that are all exquisitely and ornately adorned. It was built over an old mosque.

Day 6: Seville - Cordoba(119 km)

In the morning, we will departure towards to Cordoba, seeing the Mosque-Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter, and more.

Day 7: Cordoba - Ronda - Costa del Sol(209 km)

After breakfast, we will transfer and make a stop in a beautiful town of Ronda. In Ronda we will have a free time to explore the main highlights of this beautiful town, such as the Puento Nuevo Bridge, Puente Viejo, Bullring and Old and New Town. Later we'll continue to Costa del Sol. Depending on the date, toiur group and other factors,we will go either to Marbella or Torremolinos. Both places are beautiful coastal towns with excellent beaches, vibrant nightlife and very relaxed atmosphere. After arrival, we will enjoy dinner and spend night here

If you are in Torremolinos, we can visit the perfect blend of a cosmopolitan town and a traditional Andalusian fishing village. With its seven kilometers-long coastlines, Torremolinos offers wonderful, seafront promenades. Aqualand and the Crocodile Park are the perfect alternatives for visitors who seek non-beach diversion. Day 9: Costa del Sol

After breakfast, we will start another full day at own pace on Costa del Sol. A relaxing time at the beach while sipping on a cool drink is highly recommended. In the evening we will have a dinner and then overnight in Costa del Sol.

Day 10: Costa del Sol - Tangier - Casablanca(402 km)

After breakfast, we will head towards one of the Spanish "gates" to Morocco - either Tarifa or Algeciras (depending on date), from where we will take a ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar and enter the Kingdom of Morocco. After disembarking, we will get on a bus to the enchanting city of Tangier. Later we will move on to Casablanca where we will have a dinner and spend the night.

Day 11: Casablanca - Marrakech(219 km)

After breakfast, we will enjoy a short sightseeing tour of Casablanca, including visit of Hassan 2 Mosque and La Corniche beach. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Marrakech. Upon our arrival, we have a a proper tour to see Square Djemaa el-Fna, The Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs. Then we will enjoy our free time. We can relax in a soothing hammam, taste delicious food in Marrakesh restaurants or wander around bustling souks and so on.

Day 12: Marrakech - Rabat - Meknes - Fez(498 km)

After breakfast, we will go on a sightseeing tour of Rabat, taking a short walking tour through the city, visiting the Hassan Tower And Tomb, Tomb of King Mohammad V and King's Palace. Then we will continue our way to Meknes where we will have a stop there to admire the beautiful monumental gates of Bab Al Mansour. Then we will keep on our way until we reach Fez where we will eat dinner and stay overnight.

    Mausoleum of Mohammed V

    This mausoleum in Rabat is the burial site of King Mohammed V, who was king of the country until his death in 1961. The mausoleum is considered a beautiful example of the architectural style of the Alaouite Dynasty.

    Hassan Tower

    The Hassan Tower is all that remains of an incomplete mosque, built in the 12th century AD, that was intended to be the world's largest. The Tower is only half as high as originally intended.

Day 13: Fez

In the morning, we will explore the narrow, 9th-century streets and alleys of Fez in the city's antique Medina district, one of the oldest of its kinds in the world, with its mosques, madrasas, and handicraft shops. We will have the afternoon free to continue to discover this charming city.

Once we have enjoyed our breakfast, we will depart Fez to return to Tangier, where we will board the ferry to return to Tarifa or Algericas, Spain. There bus will pick us up and after another hour we will arrive in Marbella or Torremolinos. If in Marbella we can enjoy its diverse beaches. If in Torremolinos, we can experience the local nightlife. We will eat dinner and spend the night in Costa del Sol.

Day 15: Costa del Sol - Granada(147 km)

After breakfast, we will drive to Granada, where we will visit the Alhambra, the massive fortress complex built by the former Arab rulers of southern Spain. The tour to Alhambra is already quite extensive and include a good part of walking, so it's your choice the rest of the day - to relax in the hotel or continue to explore the city of Granada on own. We can visit the Alcaiceria, Albaicin, Granada's Cathedral and so on. Then we will have a dinner and spend night in Granada.

Day 16: Granada - Toledo - Madrid(433 km)

After breakfast, we will then transfer to Toledo. Some of the highlights we will see during the tour include the Toledo's Cathedral and the Juderia. We will then see and enter the Santa Maria la Blanca and also the church of Santo Tome. Then we will have a lunch. Later, we will move to discover the ancestral techniques and the phases of the true Toledano sword-making elaboration process in the craftsman's own workshop. Around in the evening we will transfer and arrive at Madrid, where tour will come to an end.
