    • Please note each hotel room can only accommodate maximum of 3 guests (adults or children regardless of age).
    Day 1

    Madrid - Avila - Salamanca (214 km)

    Guests will be picked up from the Madrid bus terminal at 8:00am. We will depart for Avila, a castellan city from the medieval era, where we will have free time to explore the oldest parts of the city. Afterward, we will continue to Salamanca, an antique university city, where we can enjoy free time to stroll around the city center and the Plaza Mayo. We will spend the night here.

    After breakfast, we will go to Porto, an enchanting, historical city with connections to the ancient Romans. At the end of the day, we will go to a local shop to get a taste of Port wine, a local delicacy.

    After breakfast, we will leave for Coimbra, the ancient capital of Portugal and home of the country's oldest University. Then, we will continue to Fatima, an important pilgrimage site, where we will have free time to visit the Basilica of the Santissima Trinidade. Then, we will make our way to Lisbon, Portugal's capital, where we can take an optional excursion in the evening to see a Fado music show.

    In the morning, we will enjoy breakfast before crossing the border back into Spain. We will drive to the Caceres in the Extremadura region, where we will have free time to explore the charming Old Town. After a break, we will make our way back to Madrid, where the tour will end upon our arrival.     • Passport and visas: A valid passport is required for United States citizens. Citizens of other countries require a valid passport and may require additional documents. Such persons should contact consulates of countries to be visited and obtain proper documents before departure. The possession of required and valid passport and visas is the sole responsibility of the traveler. The Tour Operator assumes no liability for lack of proper documents.
    • Cancellation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure.
      • Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.;
      • Cancellations received within 14 days - No refund.
      • No refund will be made for abandonment of services. No refunds will be made for transfers, city tours or any other services (including meals, accommodations or transportation) voluntarily not taken.
      • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
