Manaus - Amazon Jungle (246 km)

We begin our adventure from the Manaus office and transfer to the CEASA harbor where you will take a speed boat to cross the river to Careiro village, passing by the meeting of the waters. Over there you will take a van for around 60 minutes until you reach a place called Parano do Mamori where you will take the second speed boat to go to the Amazon Jungle Lodge where you will be staying overnight. Upon arrival at 11:00am, you will get checked in, have lunch and get started with your activities. First you will go for a canoe tour where you can fish for piranha and watch for pink river dolphins. We return to the lodge for dinner and then we will head back out on the river at night to search for Caiman. Keep your eyes open as your guide points out some big Caimans. He will catch a small one for a demonstration on these docile reptiles and offer you the chance to hold it for a photo. Return to the lodge for a good nights sleep.
