DAY1 Home - New York City (Free Airport Pick Up) (20 miles)

After your arrival in New York City, the most populous city in the United States, our tour guide will meet you directly at the airport (JFK / LGA / EWR) to transfer you aboard our scheduled group shuttles to the hotel (check-in after 3PM).

You will have the opportunity to explore the wonder of New York City if your arrival New York befor 8:30am. We start off our tour in Chinatown of New York City by heading to Ground Zero, site of the tragic events of September 11th, to pay our respects and to witness the massive rebuilding efforts. From there we head to Wall Street at the heart of the financial district, home to America's wealth and business interests.

Remarks:
1. Pick-up service from JFK, LGA and EWR airports. For the best service, please choose EWR (Newark Liberty International Airport).
2. For those passengers who arrive at JFK and LGA meeting point before 8:30am, you will have the opportunity to enjoy our half day special city tour.

DAY2 New York - Option Tours

Option A: New York - Woodbury Common - West Point Academy
Visit the oldest military academy of the United States at West Point, which educates more U.S. Army officers than any other institution. Shop till you drop at the Woodbury Common, a shopaholic’s dreamland -- designer clothing at bargain prices! Welcome to join our optional night tour ($25/adult) to experience "the City that Never Sleeps" starting at 7 PM!

Option B: Self Guided New York City Tour:
Not enough of New York yet? Do you want to personally experience landmarks such as the Grand Central Station and Broadway theaters of various musical shows? How about some other museums and a real New York dinner? Welcome to join our optional night tour ($25/adult) to experience "the City that Never Sleeps" starting at 7 PM!

Option C: Atlantic City
Do you want to relax with the gorgeous scenic view of the Garden State on your comfortable casino bus to Atlantic City, and enjoy your day with a stroll on the boardwalk and the “ocean” of slot machines and game tables?

DAY3 New York City Tours (Full Day)

We will spend the day touring New York City, the center of global commerce, finance, media, culture, art, fashion and entertainment. Here, we will visit the Empire State Building*, the Art Deco styled building that spans 102 floors, and offers breathtaking 360 views of New York. Next, we’ll take a boat ride around Manhattan Harbor* where you can see the Statue of Liberty and the incredible skyline (The cruise does not stop at the Island). From there, we will board another vessel, the USS Intrepid*, home to the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum, which exhibits military aircraft, including fighter jets, helicopters, and even a submarine on its flight deck. Then, we will go to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum*. Here we'll have the chance to see many meticulously crafted wax models of celebrities and historical figures. After looking at some statues, you will be surprised to look at real human beings and mistake them to be statues and statues to be human beings...... That's the fun part of this museum. Next, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art*, we’ll get a glimpse of their impressive collection of artwork that spans from classical antiquity to more modern masterpieces. We will have an opportunity to tour luxurious Fifth Avenue, known for its brand name shops and being the “main street” of the fashion world. Then it’s on to a tour of the United Nationsheadquarters, the center for international diplomacy. And if there is time, our tour may view other notable sites such as Wall Street and Ground Zero in the Financial District.

DAY4 New York - Philadelphia - Washington D.C. (233 miles)

We’ll depart from NYC in the morning to walk along the historical cobblestone streets of Philadelphia’s Independence Mall State Park, where we’ll see the Liberty Bell in its newly renovated home at the Liberty Bell Center, as well as Independence Hall and Congress Hall, birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Moving on to Washington D.C., we’ll visit Capitol Hill and the White House, home to the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives as well as the President of the United States; the National Air and Space Museum, which houses the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world; and the stately white marble Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials which honor these notable past presidents. Next we’ll pay tribute to more modern heroes at the Vietnam and Korean War Veterans Memorials, both simple and moving monuments to men who sacrificed their lives for their country. If season and weather permits, we’ll take a scenic and relaxing cruise on Potomac River* to experience the city from the water, where we’ll get views of the Pentagon, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the infamous Watergate Hotel, and more.

DAY5 Washington D.C. - Hershey's Chocolate World - Corning Glass - Niagara Falls (461 miles)

Hershey's Chocolate World, with its marketplace, shops and restaurants sweetly beckons our tour this morning. Once here you can take the chocolate tour, offering views of the chocolate making process, view a spectacular 3-D Show,*and/or participate in special chocolate tastings. Later, continuing on our way north, we’ll make a special stop at the Corning Glass Center*, a showcase and museum for the art and science of glassmaking. Here you will witness first-hand how craftsman and artisans work superheated glass into beautiful decorative pieces; at the conclusion of our visit, you will have the opportunity to purchase these unique items for yourself or a loved one in the Center’s wonderful gift shop. Afterwards, the tour will head to Niagara Falls to enjoy its beautiful night views. In what’s now a 140-year-old tradition, every evening the Falls are illuminated in changing colors of the rainbow.

The sunset is usually late in summer, we will take the time to visit the scenic spots after arriving at Niagara Falls, so as to enjoy the sunshine and leave some time for the wonderful night tour, then we could head to Boston directly the next day.

DAY6 Niagara Falls - Boston (466 miles)

Today we’ll truly experience Niagara Falls in its full fury and majesty—as the most powerful waterfall in North America, an average of 4 million cubic feet of water falls over the crest every minute. First, at the IMAX Niagara Falls* “The Falls Movie: Legends and Daredevils,” we’ll see and hear the unforgettable stories of the courageous few who have dared the waters of the powerful Falls. Next, we’ll take a thrilling boat ride aboard the world-famous Maid of the Mist* which offers up close and exciting views of the Falls (seasonal). The tour then proceeds to in Boston in the evening, where we will have the opportunity to sample some delicious lobster*, a Boston favorite, during dinner.

For winter special schedule(Nov - Mar), if time is availiable we will go to the Old Fort Niagara(optional), located at the mouth of the Niagara River. Be sure to catch the short guided tour that explains a lot in a short time. The fact that the old French Castle from 1726 is still standing today is amazing. The history and importance of this fort is a compelling reason to preserve it and the artifacts in the museum were spectacular. If you're a history buff or just like tours of this kind you have to see this.

DAY7 Boston - Miami (1505 miles)

We will take a city tour of Boston in the morning, beginning with the campuses of Harvard University and MIT, two of the most prestigious places of higher learning in the world. The tour will continue to Boston Common, a 50 acre park in the heart of the city and the oldest park in the United States; Trinity Church with its beautiful interior that features over 21,500 square feet of murals and stained glass windows; the glass-covered John Hancock Tower, the tallest structure in Boston; and Quincy Market, one of the oldest public gathering places in the U.S. that’s filled with restaurants, shops, street performers and other entertainment. Season and weather permitting, we will take a harbor cruise* to observe Boston's working port and examples of extravagant waterfront living.

Later transfer to Boston Logan Airport. Please book flight after 1:30pm to Miami (flight from Boston to Miami is not included in the tour price ). Our tour guide is waiting at the baggage claim area. At night, you can choose to join our Night Tour* to south beach; martini, bikini and ocean breeze will give you a new experience of southern night life.

DAY8 Everglades Safari Park - City tour (80 miles)

Morning ride 35 miles to the Everglades Safari Park ($22/person), the nature's secretly preserved wilderness made up of 1.2 million acres of grasslands and hardwood hammocks. Aboard one of our comfortable airboats to be amidst alligators, native flora and fauna, as well as other exotic wildlife in their habitat. In the afternoon, we will enjoy Miami's spectacular coastal view and visit the Southern American No.1 street - Art Deco, The former residence of Versace, who is the famous Italian fashion designer, and Spanish style architectural buildings. You also have the chance for an unforgettable cruise along scenic Miami Bay ($26/person).

DAY9 Key West

We'll cross 42 bridges and hop 32 islands before reaching the Southernmost city in the continental U.S., Key West. Along the way, you will see the Duck Key, which got the name from its appearance and has eyewitnessed the annual celebration of international film festival. The grand Seven Mile Bridge, named as "The Eight Wonder", costed eight year for construction. A few scenes for True Lies, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, were filmed here. On arrival at the Key West, you can explore Duval Street and pier on your own.

DAY10 Fort Lauderdale - Hometown

Morning depart for the 30 miles apart Fort Lauderdale. It earned its reputation as the "Venice of America." from its Intracoastal Waterway and the waterfront homes which dot it. Among those buildings, you may spot the luxury apartment of Bill Gates and the citibank's president. Afternoon transfer to the airport.

Please arrange the flight after 2:00PM leave from Fort Lauderdale.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours

  • 15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days

  • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
