Can't wait to come back again, we'll miss the places and our super nice guide Max
No wonder a lot people like the tour, even though it's tired, but the guide (Max) is really nice and patient, and the attractions is so beautiful
It was a good trip to Niagara falls and thousand islands. Our tour guide james was a friendly person and made all arrangements very well. The only problem istime, we didn't get enough time in Niagara falls. The tour was bit tired.
The two day Niagara tour was so much fun. Max is a fun guide. He was very patient with everyone, gave us enough time to have fun at the same time managed the schedule very efficiently. I would definitely advise my friends to take this tour.
Our tour guide Max was amazing, did a great job explaining the different attractions and made us feel comfort during the 8 hour long bus ride. But unfortunately when we went to see the Thousand island it rained so we couldn't enjoy that tour to the fullness. My one complaint was that I wish we had more time to enjoy the attractions since it felt very rushed and thee wasn't many the food options. But overall it was a nice tour.
This trip was nice. Max our tour guide was awesome. However I feel that it would have been better if we would have got a little more time to spend at the attractions. We were a bit rushed at each attraction. Overall a good trip.
I took this tour and just came back yesterday. long distance driving but still worth it. Our tour guide, Aaron, is a extremely friendly and helpful person:)Did awesome job and do care about us. The tour arrangement was great and comfortable. The most chill experience at there was the Maid of Moist:)). We all got wet but really excited! I reckon this is a impressive trip at all. Definitely had a great time!
My parents and parents' older sister are tourists and traveled to Niagara Falls on July 21st and returned on July 22nd evening (picked up from East Brunswick). They were part of group # 10. They would really like to commend Kevin for his expertise, leadership, and courtesy. He especially paid attention to little details (such as helping obtain coffee from a vending machine) yet kept the schedule on time. The whole tour was very well organized. The only criticism was that the stop at Watkins Glen was very brief. They had physical problems and had some difficulty making the other stop. But, overall the trip was more than satisfactory. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
My family and I took this tour while vacationing in New York. From the moment we met Jake, our tour guide, we felt well taken care of. He was funny, efficient, and caring.
The hotel was right across the street from Niagara Falls. I wasn't expecting much in terms of the hotel (days inn), but was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and comfortable.
The in depth tour, movie and especially the Maid of the Mist was simply awesome!
Thanks for tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone. I plan to yelp! this tour.
I recently took this trip and it was amazing!!! It is true, it is a long trip but it takes you out of your routine life. Take Tours is very organized and the best thing is the presence of a tour guide who is someone who tells you what to do in a place that you do not know. Our tour guide was Rain Zhu who was very organized and was taking care for all people from our bus; she was very responsible because if someone was missing she took her time to find lost people to bring them to the rest of the group to continue the itinerary. The schedule is tight particularly to eat lunch and walk around to buy souvenirs but the tour is worth it. The hotel was very nice as well. It was my first time traveling with Take Tours and I liked it!!! I hope to continue traveling with them in the future. Thanks so much to Rain Zhu for her patience and excellent job she performed and thanks Take Tours for offering great vacations plans to the public!!!

I recently took this trip and it was amazing!!!. It is true, it is a long trip but it takes you out of your routine life; based on this, the schedule is tight but very well organized in order to complete the itinerary on time. The best thing is the presence of a tour guide who tells you what to do in a place that you do not know. Our tour guide was Rain Zhu who was very organized requesting the group to be on time in all places because of all scheduled activities. I loved that Rain took care of her group at all times; in case someone was missing, she took her time to find lost people to bring them with the rest of the group. Although short periods of time to take lunch and buy souvenirs, this trip is worth it. The hotel was super nice as well!!. It was my first time traveling through Take Tours and I hope to continue traveling with them in the future. Thanks so much to Rain Zhu for her patience and the great job she did, and thanks to Take Tours/L&L Travel to offer these great vacation trips to the public!!!
I just came back home hours ago from this trip and it was amazing!!!! It is true, many things to do in a short period of time but those are 2 days that take you out of your routine life. It is a long trip but it is worth it. The best thing of the trip is the presence of the tour guide, someone who is always telling you what you can do in a place that you do not know. Our tour guide was Rain Zhu who was very organized, she was always requesting punctuality to travelers because of the tight schedule of our trip, however, if for some reason someone was missing, she took her time to contact him/her or even walking to the place where lost travelers were located to bring them with the rest of the group; I loved the fact that Rain was taking care of travelers at all times. Rain was also explaining step by step what to do, so that, although people from the same group were talking different languages, everyone always knew what to do during the trip. It was my first time traveling through TakeTours and I liked a lot!!!, so I hope to keep traveling with them for vacation trips. Thanks so much to Rain Zhu for her patience and the great job she did, and thanks to for the amazing vacation plans offered to the public!!!
I took 5 nights 6 days East Coast tour recently from TakeTours. Tour guide Dazzle was extremely helpful. She was translating for non-Chinese travelers. Request to the company that where ever you stop for meals. Tour guide should have Indian food restaurant details in their hands. Rest I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Once again big thanks to TakeTours and special thanks to charming energetic and helpful Dazzle.
Overall, I was impressed for the trip. However, it would better to see the improvement of the company to be a leader of the business.
I joined the trip as a couple. The thing that I and my wife were very much appreciated was the quality of the hotel (Airport Rochester Marriott). Unfortunately, we had very short period of time to stay in the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm and had to leave at 6:30am for traveling to Niagara Falls. I realized that we had to wait for some group of customer who came very lately but it was not make sense to wait too long time and broke our schedule.
Another thing that we would like to give our compliment was the hospitality of the bus driver. He was very impressed regarding to the quality of driving. All the trip was very smoothly.
Lastly, I merely impressed for the trip and hope to see the improvement to be the best of Tours Company.
Thank you for your feedback. We like to hear from our customers. Please note that this is a short trip to Niagara Falls in which several attractions and places need to be covered in a short amount of time. Therefore, the check out at the hotel has to be early in the morning. Tour guide has to sometimes be a little bit pushy and rather strict with passengers so that everyone can enjoy the tour and have an early start and enjoy all the sights and places. We will share your feedback with our tour operator as well.
Best, Israel M
Overall i like the tour.tour guide was very nice and friendly. hotel was good but no microwave. bus was comfortable. Everything was good only i didnt like Niagara In depth tour which doesn't worth of $25. Me my husband and my brother together spent $75 for nothiing . but i really like maid of the mist and thousand island cruise tour. It would be better if they dont spent 2 hour for in depth tour instead they can give us more time in niagara to enjoy the view. we only had an one and half hour to see the view of niagara and take pictures and for lunch. after travelling that far we got so less time to enjoy. overall i like the trip.
This tour was good for this price and overall was okay, but tour guide had a little confusion about what she does. A lot of miscommunication between tour guide and customers..
and each time when they made a mistake, she was very upset and had a little attitude. I will expect more professional manners and nice smiles for a tour guide next trip. Thanks.
It was an excellent and organized trip. The travel was nice and everything was planned in a nice manner. Well organized. Only one issue was the pick up location, since there was some road work in New Jersey, one of the pick up locations was cancelled, trhough some road works, alternate or nearby locations could have been arranged. Overall, I would prefer to go again. Worth spending.
My wife and I took the East Coast Tour between September 22th & 27th, 2015. Our tour guide, Estella, was very efficient and could speak good English. The tour was very good, however, I would like to make some suggestions.
1) The hotels you book should provide breakfast. Or else, the tour company should provide some sandwich or other simple breakfast at nominal cost.
2) All tour tickets etc. are collected only in cash. Normally everybody doesn't carry so much cash. You should accept card payment also.
Overall Trip is good. But need to improve on some areas. 1.Transport Bus can be better and neatly cleaned.
2. Itinerary can be better selected like which would be more interesting to the visitors
3. Not enough time given for having/eating food at the shop or even not given even enough time to buy the food from the shop. Because there is a large queue waiting for food counters and also large queue waiting at the rest room. So obviously it takes time for the visitors to come back to the bus. Based on these factors, enough time should be given for the visitors.
4. The stops are reduced while returning from the trip. Only 1 stop given after 3 hours and after that they stopped at the drop point only. That 1 stop also is not given enough time to buy food.
Very helpful, homely and fantastic tour with great hospitality. Our guide were very friendly, helpful and very enthusiastic. Accommodation, transportation and itinerary were also very nice. Thanks to `TakeTours`.
Great trip but we wished ample time was given at Niagara Falls. Just an hour??? Not enough.
Also it would be like a feather on the cap if additional places be covered if guests like me would love to visit at an extra price.
Overall, me and my family loved the attractions, Niagara Falls and Maid of the Mist topping the charts.
Also Sherry, our guide, showed great hospitality and was very decent. She in fact celebrated my mother's birthday on the bus when she came to know about it (mom and her were sitting together).
This trip is worth the price.
The trip was great but the food choices were HORRIBLE. I wish the hotel had a microwave to heat up personal food. Eating at Niagara Falls was horrible- not only the foods are horrible, they are very pricey. After paying for a plate of food $13.99 plus tax $16 and change, no drinks with it, I had to get that on my own. Washington DC stop was great, the food there is way more expensive. The bus driver didn't allow people to use the bathroom, or drink in a cup (which failed because people that had bottled drinks still spilled theirs) I had small kids with me that had to wait. or wait the 2 hours stops. The best thing I did was bringing my own breakfast food (bagels, banana, peanut butter and Capri Sun for the kids)
I really enjoyed this tour!
The cruise to Thousand Islands is good, and the museum was interesting. Niagara Falls is spectacular and Maid of the Mist is what all this trip is about! Advice: Have snacks with you because you will spend a long time in the bus!
The tour was very well organized. Our guide Vivian Li and driver Frank were very friendly and sweet. The bus journey was comfortable. The accommodation was perfect. I really give the credit to our guide, Vivian Li, for making the trip such a memorable one. She was really energetic and gave her 100% in everything. We also learned some Chinese words from her during the bus journey. It was a very good tour overall.
The tour was very well organized. Our guide Jo and driver Jerry were very friendly and sweet. The bus journey, though long, was comfortable. Frequent stops were made for restroom breaks. The accommodation was perfect. We felt that we didn't have enough time at Niagara Falls and other attractions, and the time we were given was less. On the way back to New York City, a short stop for some snacks could've been added as it was an 8-hour journey. Other than these complaints, it was a very good tour overall.
In this trip we went to Watkins Glen State Park and Niagara Falls. Both of these places are wonderful. If you like nature, you can really enjoy your time. I strongly recommend you to visit these beautiful places.
This was my first tour with this company. I was travelling with my family with a small kid for the first time. We were well taken care of and our tour guide Helen did a great job keeping us entertained throughout the trip. Lunch spot was awesome. My only complaint was the hotel, it could have been better. Overall good experience for the whole family.
Amazing third tour with TakeTours. Next trip booked will be to the West Coast. Our guide/ driver did a great job. We had to rush to the attractions due to the long weekend. The tour was very well planned.
The trip was great. It was Memorial Day Weekend (Sat-Sun). So, all the attractions were packed. Thank God we had a tour guide, Helen, who was extremely organized and patient. She literally ran the entire time to manage tickets for each attractions. The bus driver, Dan, was very well spoken, nice and entertaining. The hotel quality was not that great but it was expected as most of them were booked for the long weekend. Overall, it was a great experience for us and we are already researching for our next trip.
I just wanted to leave a brief message about my bus ride to Niagara Falls yesterday. My tour guides Jojo and Vicki were phenomenal, they made my son and l comfortable and the driver Andy was great. I am looking forward to taking another trip again soon.
The tour guide (Helen) was great, very calm and well organized. This is the third time I have taken a trip, and my complaint is the same- too much rushing and we are not left alone long enough to enjoy Niagara Falls.
Our tour guide Cassie was great!!! I really enjoyed the trip. The Old Fort Niagara was beautiful, the Maid of the Mist was also great. We also slept in the Radisson which was a very pleasant surprise. We did some karaoke and watched movies to pass away time on the bus. It was a great trip in all!
This tour was my second time and my first time for my parents, they really enjoyed it, the itinerary is good. I liked the places that we went, 1000 island, Old Fort, and of course Maid of the Mist. It was an awesome experience, but it would have been better if we got the chance to see Niagara Falls by night. Our guide is nice and very approachable, the driver is a bit strict but it's okay because some of the tourists don't observe the time. I will definitely bring my other relatives there, loved it!
Our tour guide was Evan from bus 616, and he was awesome. Best tour guide with a great personality and humor. He was very patient and polite (shook hands with everyone in the end.) The tour itself was breath taking. I definitely recommend this tour and also anyone who has Evan as a tour guide is very lucky.
All of our team members (6) really enjoyed themselves throughout the journey. I personally recommend this tour for anyone to visit Niagara Falls and 1000 Islands. They are really helpful. Our bus driver is great. I never found the tour guider like this tour. He is the most amazing character.. We are planning to go on another one soon..
This is a good tour and this is my 3rd trip to Niagara Falls with the same itinerary. First day on the trip, you will visit only 1000 Island, and later you be traveling for another 4 hours to reach your hotel.
One difficult thing is the next day, the guide requested to start at 6:30am and hotel offers breakfast after 7:00am. They should plan the start after 7:30am so that everyone will come with stomachs filled. I think the guides need to have common sense to make the passenger have breakfast before starting (even it is free in hotel), and the guide is playing some DVD with high sound at 6:30am in the morning. I guess guides need some good training. Otherwise trip is good, and this time I saw a scenic visit, which is good and we had enough time after Maid of the Mist. Also, we got some Indian food in Niagara so that made me happy.
Otherwise this is a happy trip!
Had an awesome experience especially because of our tour guide, Helen. She was very informative, friendly, and mature.
It was a well executed plan and this awesome trip completed per it.
I'll strongly recommend it.
Good tour for the price...Good and calm headed driver, good location for overnight stop, courteous and professional guide. The guide needs a little more clarity in his English though, and the tour shold specify that the tourists should keep at least $150 in cash with them, as most of the payments needed to be in cash. Otherwise a very very memorable experience.
This is a tour in which you will end up spending more time in bus than the attractions, So keep this in your mind.
We started from Jersey City at 8:15am as stated. After a 6 hour journey (with a lunch break of 15 minutes included) First, we reached the 1000 Islands at 2:15pm. There you'll have time ONLY to get down from bus and board the cruise directly from parking lot (no time to visit the town which is very beautiful indeed). Post completion of one hour cruise, we boarded the bus directly from the docking station. After roughly travelling about 4.5 hours we reached Niagara Falls at 8:10pm (FINALLY after 12 hours from your starting point). There we had 1.30 hrs including dinner time (trust me, don't waste your time in the long queue of the food court, just grab something and head to falls,) Since the lights were not switched on until 9:00pm due to late sunset, we got our time extended until 10:00pm. After 10:00pm, we had to travel again about 30 minutes to reach our hotel @ 10:45pm,
Day two : We started at 7:30am > First visit at 8:00am - 8:55am Fort Niagara > A stop at whirlpool at 9:15am-9:45am > We reached Niagara Falls at 10:15am > boarded Maid of the Mist at 10:45am > started our return journey at 12:30pm (after completing lunch) > reached Jersey City at 8:00 as stated.
So its roughly one hour one day one, and two hours on day two you'll be at Niagara Falls, which is the total objective of the trip,
To the tour planners : Please try to change / replace the itinerary with a dedicated tour for Niagara Falls, in which 1000 Islands can be skipped. Also agree that there is journey and driving restrictions included, so you can start on Friday night and head to Niagara Falls directly instead of starting Saturday night,
To be very honest, The tour guide, Anthony, was very humble and polite. He didn't even loose his control whenever there were group delays, which in turn had him apologizing to the driver for parking issues, etc. Kudos to you!
The Hotel : Come on you get more than what you pay for, that's a classic river side resort (only disadvantage breakfast was not included in package) But the room is very good and spacious and it has everything right from coffee maker to refrigerator.
Tips : Please bring your own snacks and water, which will save you money. Lunch stop was in McDonald's where you can get everything. Dinner on Day 1 and breakfast and lunch on Day 2 will be at the Falls, where you have an international food court (of course Indian food available).
I liked the tour, our guide was a Chinese lady who was helpful and professional. One negative thing is they kept the bathroom locked in the bus. I was traveling with kids so I had to request to the tour guide several times before she would open the bathroom for usage.
The tour was excellent. There was a diverse itinerary of optional activities comprising Secret Caverns (an impressive underground waterfall, a performance at Smokin Joes Native Center on the first day, a musket firing display in an old fort, and Niagara Power Vista and the Niagara IMAX on the second day. This was all in addition to viewing the falls in both the nighttime and the daytime.
For those short of cash of uninterested in the above (like myself), we were able to skip the second day's optional activities and were dropped off in Niagara Falls the entire morning. This allowed us to walk over to Canada and see the much more impressive views of the Falls (if you plan to do this, make sure to bring a passport).
Out tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and led the tour in English. The hotel we stayed in overnight was very comfortable.
My one criticism of the tour was that the itinerary was so packed, there wasn't always enough time to experience all the attractions properly. However, I was perfectly happy wandering around Niagara Falls for the morning and was fully satisfied with the tour.
Tour was awesome. Guide was also good. Quite a lot of Chinese influence. Since we were the only non-Chinese people in the tour, our guide sometimes forgot to use English and kept talking in Chinese! But overall it was a good tour and worth the time/money spent! Would travel again.
This tour was perfect one ...the tour guide was very helpful. I and my husband enjoyed it very much. The tour guide gave enough time for sightseeing.... the tour guide Jason was very kind and helpful.... we would take other trips definitely.
WOW,It was an excellent tour trip.
-Bus too good with Wifi
-Break points frequency is good
-Behavior of driver and guide --too good
Itinerary to be much better
People feel to spend more time at Niagara than visiting few not so important places.
Add any places/shows at Niagara spot near by.
The tour was very good indeed . Our guide William was friendly and knowledgeable and managed the tour really well. The thousand island were breathtaking. Next day attractions were nice but noting can top the maid of the mist adventure! We really enjoyed the tour an will do it again :). I highly recommend this tour
Overall, the entire tour was nice. And it's well structured if I have to look by the Day 1 and Day 2 options.
Niagara falls indeed was the best of all. The amount of water falling from the crest indeed is overwhelming. or maybe, overwhelming is an understatement. Second best thing I liked was Fort Niagara. Its a very scenic place with nice blue lake in the background and old fort of 18th century with lush green lawns. And the musket rifle demo is indeed very entertaining. Power vista was ok, I personally find it not too exciting. 1000 islands was ok. while I personally didn't find it too exciting having lived close to the India Ocean for months. But most of the people on the tour found it very nice.
William, our tour guide, was very good with his work. He managed it really well and I must say while he was caring and concerned about everyone's safety, he was also very tolerant of many people coming later than the mutually agreed time (to return to bus). William engaged everyone well with his chinese song at the start of the tour. It was really good to have him!!
I recommend this trip for everyone. This trip exceeded my expectation. Thousand island and Niagara Falls were amazing and beautiful. Bus was comfortable and hotel was nice. Our bus driver, Will, and tour leader, Vicki, were professional. I am glad that I took this trip. I will take more trips with Take Tour.
Tour is good. 1,000 islands and Old Fort is nice. For Niagara Falls (Maid of the Mist) is absolutely wonderful and memorable. But for Power Vista, I think it's not worth for paying the admission fee. Hotel accommodation was also excellent and we were served with free breakfast too in the hotel. Our guide was helpful and friendly. overall had fun. Bus seats and leg space was little dis comfortable otherwise all were good.
Tour is good.
1,000 islands and Old Fort is nice. For Niagara Falls (Maid of the Mist) is absolutely wonderful and memorable.
But for Power Vista, I think it's not worth for paying the admission fee. If you wanna learn things &knowledge there, it's ok, but if u just want to travel, it's not good enough. We spend time just only 15-20 mins there, and guide tour is very hurry to explain all things. (He said the tourist's attraction (+admission fee) is optional, but when he collect the money, it's like we have to join. He didnt ask. So if anyone dont want to join, strongly tell him.
Accommodation is nice and comfortable. Transportation is good as well.
For me, bad part is only "Tour Guide". He speaks very very quick (English language in Chinese accent. I can understand but it will be very good if he speaks slowly.)He is in hurry in every everything. We understand that time is very important but every time the bus stops for resting, touring, he was in hurry all the time and did not wait passengers to be ready before going out : Once the last passenger arrived bus, he said "go" and the bus went immediately! They hadnt sit down yet!. Lastly, his speaking manner can be better when he talks to customers and he will get more tips from everyone.
This trip is really worth all your money. When you want to do something nice and not able to manage stay/transport on your own, this is the best bet.
Accommodation provided exceeded my expectations, and the bus wasn't really comfortable to sit, and may be for you too, if you are taller than 5.8". They charge your more money for the attractions, so total = trip amount paid + attraction fee (some $60). Still very cheap and worth your money. See some pics I uploaded. it may help you make a decision. More than 16 hours was spent in travelling, which I felt is disappointing. Niagara falls is ultimate. Once in a life time experience. Also don't miss Old fort niagara, very beautiful place.
Recommendation to trip organizers:
Do a night travel, so as to save day time and cover more attractions. Save some time, take people inside the castle in Thousand Island. It's just $8 extra. Day #1 has one hour boat cruise and a 11 hour bus journey.
Itinerary was not well planned
Would recommend to friends and family
If you found it helpful and buying the package then have fun and enjoy the trip !
This tour was good, the accommodation was pretty good and the lunch places wasn't so good, but I could eat.
I think that two points were bad:
1- The bus wasn't too confortable (my boyfriend couldn't find a space for his legs);
2- We didn't go to the Caverns, as the booked tour said. Actually, when there is snow in the Caverns, the tour can't go there. So, it happens always.
The tour usually goes to Howe Cavern between November and March. Due to Winter Storm Saturn, the humidity accumulation makes the inside road very slippery, so the tour guide decided not to do the visit for safety reason as the cavern also notified all tours about the inside condition. For the bus leg room, the standard coach's leg room may not have enough space for some passengers. We have informed the tour guide to assist in seating to better accommodate passengers.
Great Tour. Very Good Hotel Accomodations. The tour was bit hectic. But overall it was fine. I think the trip to Cave of the Winds should be added to every Niagara tour package as it is a very good attaraction. Looking forward to booking another tour in coming weeks!
We had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend this to a friend! Our tour guide was very fun and friendly and she did a very good job making sure we stayed on time. We skipped the option of going to the power dam and Fort Niagara so we had a lot of time to walk around and explore the falls, and I appreciated that we were allowed to do this. The buffet restaurant we went to for dinner the first night was tasty and only $15 per person, with a lot to chose from!
My only disappointments were that the power outlets on the bus were not working (16 hours is a lot of time on a bus and I had been planning to do homework), and while the hotel was very nice our room kinda smelled like feet. Nothing against the tour company, though. Overall it was a nice hotel!
Thanks for a great/affordable trip!
We had a wonderful time on this tour. For the price, it was a great deal. We wished we could have stayed a little while longer at the falls, but other than that, it was well worth it. The hotel was way better than we expected too. Can't wait for our next trip!
I really like this tour. For the money that this company charges, you can't find a better deal. The bus was clean and nice, and the hotel is great (with a swimming pool). It was a little bit a hassle but totally understandable because of the distance. We got caught in traffit and didn't return until 10:30pm to China Town. My only complaint is that at the last place, the Niagara Fall, since we don't have any more places to catch up to, why can't we stay there for 2 more hours? We returned late anyway. If we could have a little bit more time at the last place, I am sure no one will complain about the rushing before.
It was a really nice trip, and for the distance covered and limited time, I think we've seen quite a bit. The thousand Islands tour was beautiful and rather funny (due to the guide's humor), and 'bathroom stops' just about frequent enough.
The night's accommodation met and exceeded our expectations, we had a short but wonderful night's sleep! And breakfast was provided in the morning, which was a nice surprise.
We do wish there were more food options available during lunch stops rather than one open buffet and no other diners around.
Also, our bus' guide's English was not perfect, so for someone who has trouble understanding accents or can't handle broken grammar, it might be an issue. Oh, and the admission fees were collected all at once at the beginning of the trip, so I'm not sure if there's an option of choosing only some of the attractions and omitting others... so the trip's price after all is around $190 plus food.
Overall, if you're pressed for time and really want to see the Falls, go for it!
BAD PART: We took a trip on 14th n 15th July Weekend to Niagra from new York. We were told to report at 8am in morning. Around 9am we were told that trip is cancelled because bus was broken, they said that they will refund the whole trip amount and nothing else. Adding to the frustration they said to passengers that you can do anything, either call the police or sue them. They cannot help us.The bad thing was their management part which they didn't knew how to take care of. Around 10am they said that a bus might come around 11:30 but still they were not sure about it and in this confusion more than half of the tourists left. The sad thing was that people planned this trip months ago in advance and some of them came from California, Texas. Even I came from Maryland and my return ticket was on Sunday night which I booked according to schedule and they said that they will refund only ticket for journey.
GOOD PART: a bus came around 11:30 after 3.3 hours delay. Our tour guide Lio was nice. They changed the schedule and we wnet to Corning glass museum instead of 1000 islands(I booked the ticket only to sit in a cruise n click pictures instead of watching that boring museum). we reached hotel at 10pm and were asked to start at 5:45 in the morning. Hotel was decent n nice. The next morning we came to Niagra falls. tour guide told about its history and we spent almost 4 hours there and went to Maid of the Mist ride.
I had the niagara falls trip for 2 days last weekend. It was amazing! The tour guides (james & Tom) had done such a great job! They were well organized & really nice. They were also very helpful. I had really a good time.
I thought the trip was good and the tour guide Mark was really nice. I do think that the day we reached Niagara Falls was toooo rushed. I think two of the tour options should've been eliminated to spend more time at the Falls.
A MUST VISIT PLACE
Niagara falls is just sooo beautiful than anyone wud hv ever imagined.
Make sure to plan ur travel well in advance wit 'Taketours', they offer good packages, rather than missing out on the deals.
This is a long travel, find ur group to hv more fun n kill time thru the journey.
Plan ur clothing acc to the season & tour schedule. U can also check wit the tour guide in advance if the days of visit were gonna be exchanged due to any reasons. ex: 1000 islands durin early summer would require a light jacket. Wear shorts & tee for maid of mist & cave of winds tour. No long booty jeans or long sleeves. u would get drenched.
You can also carry extra pair in case u need to change.
Night view of the falls is an amazing view to glimpse.
tours r perfectly timed to cover everything tat is necessary.
night view, maid of mist & cave of winds is a must visit
Im sure you wouldn't have imagined to drench under the most voluminous fall of the world.:):)
we had an opportunity to hv delicious indian meal, which made our tour a pleasing affair. we all hogged like hungry dogs of a week:P
stays offered by take tours is more than expected.its truly 3 starred.
choose ur package of 2+1 or find companions; it works out better as tourists.
The trip is awesome having proper plan and well organised. The tour guide is great with good english knowledge. since i visit on pick time, we have to spend more time on que's. So plan to go of-time to enjoy more.
The trip to niagara through 1000 islands was great. we didnt go to the imax movie at niagara, that saved us a lot of time to spend time at the falls. we had fun. the tour guide was good, planning was great. i would recommend to take it.
It was an awesome trip - much better than I had anticipated. I am using it for most of my trips going forward for long distances with family. The limited time is the only drawback but otherwise, it was great in every sense.
Niagara Falls is beautiful. Hotel at Rochester is much much better than we expected, thumbs up.
Mainly Chinese PRCs and Indians in the tour group, join only if u r ok with their presence. Some friends from Arizona were singing and talking loudly through out the 8 hrs journey, disturbing those who are resting.
Tour Guide is friendly, funny and helpful in the beginning and after service charge and tips are given, silence is all we got.
For the price we paid, i must say i am satisfied.
1.The tour guides were very courteous and humble. 2. The tour ended quickly. 3. Whatever the price you pay to the company still expect to spend more on the spot so keep some cash handy because credit cards wont be accepted
The first day was alright, but the real killer came during the second day.
There was a huge delay in the transportation - apparently the bus driver supposed to send us back to NY didn't have some required permit and was stopped by the police. The same driver missed the highway exit and caused us further delay as well.
Reached NY back at 11:15 pm, ~3 hrs behind the scheduled time. The latest check in time for my hostel is 11 pm, go figure out the rest.
The tour is excellent. the bus is very comfortable and has a dvd player. The tour guide is good. He is helpful. he speaks English and Chinese. His English is serviceable. The hotels are exceptionable for the price. The bus always stops by Chinese restaurants but there are alternatives located close by. Overall it was worth it.
Bus was on time, tour guide (Angie) was really nice. Perfect timing with the breaks. Hotel (Holiday Inn) was clean and comfortable.
The only thing that was unacceptable were some selfish fellow passengers who did not think it was necessary to be on time...which was unfair towards the other travelers and the tour guide who had to deal with it.
All in all, I would recommend this trip.
It was pretty good. We had enough time to enjoy each site and the mist of maid boat trip was great!
Unfortunately it was rainy and cold when we cruised on the 1000 Islands, but the view was still nice.
The guide didnt take us to creepy buffet places but let us choose what we wanted to eat in shopping centres. But I have to say nothing good to eat in the food court of Niagara Falls.
The hotel was clean, which is the most important to me.
The trip overall was great!
The attractions were AMAZING and we got to see everything that we were promised. We stayed pretty close to schedule and they were pretty good about keeping the group together. They tried to be accommodating at all times. Ms. Lucky our driver was very sweet. Becky our "guide" was good about keeping everyone in check.
The number one Caveat: The attractions and tips cost $59 on top of what you pay online. You pay once you're on the bus. Ultimately I think this is fair. However I wish they would have mentioned it the description. They should tell you upfront. Also, you need to pay in cash on your way there.
Overall they're pretty rough around the edges. The tour guide (more of an organizer than a guide) on the bus was nice but could have been a bit warmer in the way she directed the group. She was very harsh when it came to make sure people got to places on time (it seemed to work but she needed more TLC). Little details that they can learn from and improve.
Was pretty basic. It's a charter bus with not much leg room I'm about 5'11" and I just fit. Not very comfy for an 8 hour bus ride. Also the DVD player kept messing up so we didn't really get to see a full movie beginning to end which was frustrating. Children crying on the way back was not fun. Many people took their children and it was a chorus of restless children after about 20 hours on a bus in 2 days. Can't blame the poor kids but it was pretty bad. There was a hint of curry in the air the whole time too.
It was a basic Days Inn. No frills but fine. You're only going to sleep there for about 5-6 hours anyway.
Overall, Not having to drive and cramming so much into one weekend makes this tour worth it.
Yes it's not perfect and Yes it could improve, But my parents were very satisfied and I probably wouldn't have been as efficient if I tried to make this trip work without Taketours especially as a 2 day trip.
If you're a Diva I don't recommend it. Otherwise GO FOR IT!
The tour was amazingly organized. I would say you need not bother yourself at all for all the booking hassles. I would admit the fact that if I had gone on my own, then I would not have been able to cover all the places in such a short time. The itinerary was well planned. The staff was very amicable and courteous. I would definitely recommend this tour. In fact, I am planning to book another tour to Washington DC via the same agency.
Trip was well organized with time of travel to cover places indicated. I would suggest to not rush too much on advance payments immediately after getting into the bus. Also depart early. Thank you so much for good experience.
Great tour. We loved the hotel and tour guide. She explained each stop and updated us such that we knew what was going on all the time. Itinerary was a bit rushed but you get to see the main stuff. It's a 2D1N tour so can't expect too much time. Niagara falls is magnificent.
Ideal tour if you are on a tight schedule. Covered all locations with sufficient time to spend at each point. Well organized. Tour guide Allan was friendly and humorous. Bus was pretty comfortable. Driver drove very safely and was never rash. Will certainly consider the same tour operator for future tours.
as far as I m concerned this trip was well planned, amazingly organized and worth every dollar! This is really a great deal! You dont have to worry about driving, spending money on gas or finding a parking or a hotel room. The bus is comfy, staff is friendly and helpful. A group of 6 of us took a trip and we even got a better deal, like $90 per person!
Jupiter was the best tour guide ever! He really showed care to individuals and gave a very informative tour. Niagara Falls was breathtaking as well as the Thousand Islands. IMax movie was also interesting, but I wish we had gone instead to the Cave of the Winds. All in all it was such a nice trip, the hotel was really good. My mom and I enjoyed it!
Went on this trip to niagara falls with my wife as part of our yearly travel routine. The day started with the bus driver being late for an hour due to bad traffic from NJ to NYC, however our driver and tour leader (Jinelle) did everything possible to keep the tour group on schedule and we managed to catch our 3:30pm 1000 island ferry. ;-)
This trip is fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip especially the maid of the mist @ the falls.
Jinelle was very sweet and she took initiative to even buy a can of aerosol spray air freshener to "freshen up" the bathroom at the back of the coach bus for fear that the passengers in the rear may experience discomfort! I believe this was out of her own pocket. Nice touch and for a pro-active staff. Unfortunately on the last day of the tour, 3 Hispanic members of our tour group insisted that their package was already inclusive of the $6/day payable for both the driver and tour leader as a form of gratuity and service fee. These were clearly spelt out clearly in the Terms and conditions on the website and our contract however the guy turned nasty and threatened to call 911 to hold up our coach. In the end Jinelle voluntarily opted to forfeit her share of the service fee even though the passengers were of the thought the 3 Hispanic passengers ought to pay like the rest of the cohort. Apart from this everythhing was fun and went as planned! Defnitely recommend this
Took two day tour of Niagara and 1000 Islands on 15&16 the September 2011. The guide and the bus driver were very friendly .They were honest, caring and straight forward that made travel dreams a reality. There was never a problem; never a glitch; never even a late connection anywhere. It was a Friendship Tour. Thanks to your staff for everything they did during the tour.
After seeing the fall and inhaling and soaking in the mist it is confirmed that Niagara is really one the wonders of the world. The boat tours originating from the waterfront was found a great way to get a close-up view of the islands. The 1000 Islands is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The fresh and cool outdoors inspired the spirit and led to ecstacy and bliss. Those were the real enchanted moments we have enjoyed during the tour.
At the beginning of the tour, the guide tried to explain the itinerary of the tour but could not follow accurately the details. Barring unforeseen reasons tentative itinerary of the tour right from starting to end covering all events like stops for rest room, cofee, lunch, dinar seeing the site for so many minutes etc should be prepared and copy handed over to each tourist. It should also bear the names of guide and driver for the sake of clarity.
Excellent package and great tour for the 2 day Niagara Falls from NY. The tour guide Stanley and the bus driver Jerry, both did a great job. The hotel was comfortable as well. Looking forward to the next trip. I highly recommend this package. Its worth the money spent.
Our tour guide Xial was great and he ensured we move about and cover everything planned. I really enjoyed the complete tour, and personally I would not have been able to cover all these attractions in a couple of days :-) Enjoyed every moment of it.
The tour was splendid and was worth the trip for Niagara. Tommy, our guide, did a good job and handled everything perfectly. The stops made for refreshment were equally spaced which gave a relief sitting idle in the bus for many hours. The accomodation at Holiday Inn was also satisfactory. One concern, however, was that we had to reach Edison, take the shuttle, reach New York for the final bus to Niagara which again passed near Edison. There were almost all people in the bus from edison, if the buses could have been arranged directly from Edison-Niagara and back that would have saved much time. In all the trip was good and recommendable to all.
It was a great tour. The hotel was very comfortable in Niagara falls. Our tour guide did a good job.
I didn't watch the 3-D movie in Niagara falls. Instead, I went to the goat island, saw Canadian side of the falls and enjoyed the cave of the winds.
Suggestion: Instead of the 3D movie, include Cave of the Winds and Goat Island tour.
Kudos to K.C. our bus driver! Very careful, and a real professional! Our tour guide was fine but perhaps needs to brush up a little bit on her English pronounciation otherwise she's pretty good. Especially in handling the tourists(the tough ones). For this price... wow!who can beat that? I would recommend it to my friends.
This was our second trip with TakeTours.com. The first trip was to Las Vegas, and as predicted the trip to Niagara Falls was full of fun and exciting. Our guide Mona Lisa managed the itinerary plan for whole trip very well. We had ample amount of time to see all things in Niagara falls. Overall, I would suggest everyone go once through TakeTours to Niagara Falls.
A team of 4 people went in this tour and our experience is definitely really amazing in Niagara. The tour guide -Wendy- managed the group of vivid people through out the trip very well. She was constantly providing us the updates by talking to her counterparts in the travel office and entertained well. The food stops are good with variety of options. It is a good idea for the tour operators to allocate the seat numbers at the time of booking itself. Whaterver promissed is fulfilled and there are no hidden fees of any sort. I can clearly recommend this tour for my friends.
1st leg of tour bus arrived late. Tour guide Ms Diane Locky made everything right with her positive attitude. 2nd day was the greatest, the Maid of the Mist tour is an unforgettable experience. Maid of the Mist will blow your mind! This is a must see tour, Cave of the Winds is also a fantastic experience. Great tour, fantastic tour guide Diane Locky, and best driver Alton. Overall, great tour, great experience.
The strong organization and the amazing impression from the falls are the winning aspects of this tour. Also, it's cheaper and easier to arrange than an independent trip. The transit is rather tiresome, as expected, but totally worth it. Yet some minor annoyances may need to be known in advance: the toilet on the bus is to be used in emergency only, and the tour schedule allowed for less than a 6-hour sleep in the hotel. When one is prepared for these pitfalls, one may find oneself less distracted from the beauty of the Niagara Falls.
The 4 day Canada tour was very nice. Saw so many beautiful places. Loved Ottawa. Alan was an excellent tour guide. He was very informative and helpful. Sometimes the tour was rushed and I wish there had been a bit more time to browse the gift shops. Would have liked to have not missed seeing Mont Royal. The itinerary was a little hard to follow and did not know it ahead of time since we were seeing things backwards. The bus driver was experienced and good. Glad for day and morning time at Niagra Falls. Hotels were very nice. Meals were a bit difficult especially not having anything for breakfast. Overall a very nice experience.
Although the tour was a bit tiresome, the leg to Niagara Falls is worthy, since the falls are really amazing. However, the way back was unworthy, since we traveled all day long to get to thousand islands and go home and stayed only one hour in the boat. It was summer and I would like to swim, for example. More time to enjoy Niagara and one more sleeping night in thousand islands would be much less tiresome.
Besides, the stops to eat and to go to restrooms could be less frantic and less in such a hurry.
Thumbs Up! I took this tour with my wife and parents. The tour was as planned and the staff were excellent. Our driver Ralph and guide Alex were superb. They made the trip very good. I thank gotobus/taketours team. Worth every penny. Will recommend this for sure! Good Luck!
The tour is good, but in my case was schedule to depart at 8am and we started at 9am. That was one hour less to see Niagara falls, also in the way we stopped in some other city to pick up more people. That took us another hour from the tour.
1000 islands is not worth only 1 hour in a boat and you miss too much from Niagara because you don't sleep in Niagara and don't have the chance to see the falls in the night.
I would recommend the other tour only with Niagara falls.
It was an excellent experience and the tour was good, the falls are amazing and I'd love to see them again. The tour guide (CC) was really good, and the driver was very funny and cracked jokes. Tour guide was very caring and at the same time well planned. Overall my hubby and I has good fun.. Stay was awesome :)
Excellent experience to see New York in one day. Niagara trip was fantastic and well organized. Had lot of fun and covered lot of attractions. Tour guide was excellent with good knowledge of various locations.
The tour was really awesome. The travel was really great and relaxed. Trip was very well organized. Hotel was really good (compared to the price). All areas were properly covered, and the tour guide was also very cheerful, helpful and jovial. :) i am surely gonna book future tours with TakeTours :)
the tour was good, the falls are amazing and I'd love to see them again. The tour guide (Gaby) was really good, however the driver was awful. He was talking on the phone pretty much the whole trip, was slow and got off the road many times, especially when dialing his cellphone. We almost crashed with other cars twice. This driver should not be driving anybody around.
Outstanding! An awesome Tour. This was my first experience taking this sort of tour package and OMG I really appreciate the work they are doing. I have seen people asking multiple questions irritating tour guides, but all the guides in the tour are polite and calm. They are jolly and helpful too.
After such a good experience with this, I'll definitely plan another tour with these guys. Thanks a lot for making my tour an awesome trip and I really appreciate your work done.
very good tour... though it rained when we reached Niagara Falls. We could still see the fireworks and night view. The tour guide was very cooperative! Would suggest including cave of the wind in the itenary. All in all, a very nice trip!
The trip was fantastic and awesome. Bus was nice and comfortable. Our guide Gaby was very excellent organiser. They have provided very nice accomidation and trip was well executed. I am planning to visit other tours with this company. Thank you Tours & travels.
I would keep it short. The tour was properly organised. We saw Niagara Falls (Maid of the Mist & Cave of the Winds) on Day-1 & 1000 Islands on Day-2. The positives of the tour were: Well Organized. Punctual.
Negatives were due to some problem in the hotel had to take a shower in cold water in early morning.
God willing, Would love to come back again & bring my family to together to the tour.
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who are alone or who have come newly to US to do a tour with these guys as its convenient & cost effective too. Other option would be to drive but that would involve more cost
The hotel accommodation was good. The tour guides were nice , friendly and organized, but the driver was too slow and at one point he even took a wrong route from 1000 Islands to Niagara. (By the way 1:45 min at 1000 Islands was really great). Because of his mistake, we reached Niagara at 10:30pm stayed there for 30 min night view and reached hotel at 11.30. The other bus that departed with us from Flushing reached Niagara 2 hrs before us. The second day was Great. Overall trip was Good, if driver was experienced the trip would have been excellent.
the trip was great and the accommodations were fantastic. it was very organized and the tour guides got out of their way to be on time..we did not experience traffic coming in to new york!!Angie was a very lively, knowledgeable and informative tour guide. there are just a few incoveniences that we encountered. there was a bad BODY smell at the back of the bus (our seats were nos.50-51)i dont know if you can do anything about this, but, it gave me a headache for the whole trip. thank god for stop overs. i needed the fresh air. i am also suggesting that when guests book for a trip, you should ask for their seat preferences and any health conditions that will require seat preferences. also, you should have a policy that would cater to senior citizens as they have health conditions that require special accommodations. that trip deserves four stars from my husband and me!!! more power to you!!
It was really good trip and more than worth for the money I paid. Well organized, nice hotels and very good tour guides (Mina and Song). Nice trip, I'm really happy with the tour and I will suggest my friends to take tours with these guys.
The departure point in Bowery was disorganized as we are to moved back and forth to find out which bus is the 2 Day tour to Niagara. Most disappointing, is that we were outside with the rain and cold weather. The Guide did their job well, but needs training for English diction to be able to understand. The tour itself was very good and I am looking forward to another one in future.
It was really good trip and more than worth for the money I paid.
Well organized, nice hotels and very good tour guides (Mina and Song).
Nice trip, I'm really happy with the tour and I will suggest my friends to take tours with these guys.
the 2-day tour to niagara falls was fantastic. the hotel was comfortable & that it was within walking distance of the falls was a plus for both the night & day views. the tour guides & bus driver were superb. i'm sure i'll book another tour soon.
The trip was excellent and the guide was also amazing. I think that the plan of the trip was fantastic and the stops and the bus was really comfortable.
The hotel accommodation was Radisson and that was awesome. It is a highly recommended bus service and the journey is very comfortable with the driver driving at a very comfortable speed. The route is also very beautiful between the fields and the country side. The trip goes as planned and the guide put in a lot of effort to get us on the destinations in time. Overall full marks to everything.
This was the best possible 2-day tour that can be arranged. The Hotel stay was great. The tour guide was very helpful. The tour was well planned due to the long drive from New York to Niagara. It would have been great if we could have reached Niagara a little earlier for the night view. Also provide some more time on the second day at the falls.
Very good experience in the Maid of the Mist and Thousand Island. It would be better if we cut some time from the corning glass museum trip and leave more time for the Niagara Falls. Coco and Ivy are very good tour guides. The food was good too, though little time for enjoying it.
We took the 2 day trip 2 weeks ago. It was hectic but organized well considering the time frame we had. They put us in a really nice hotel in Rochester (little far though!). I wish the tip amounts were optional and not mandatory. Isaac and the other guide were friendly. Overall its a good experience.
Very nice trip. The tour was well organized, the only thing: we missed see the falls at night and the hotel was too far. Jade managed everything very well and she was very concerned about our well being until the very end of the tour. Would recommend to friends...
This is a very nice trip. My 2 day Niagara trip was excellent and our guides Isaac and Victor took care of us very well. Thanks a lot. Schedule seems to be tight but we are able to see all of the places. Thanks GotoBus.
It was a nice tour. Very well organized, and they managed the time quite well. A special mention of the driver is a must, such a rushed trip, but he was very cautious. The hotel was excellent, and the 1000 island tour was good but not exciting. Would have been better, if we could have stayed for some more time in Niagara falls. The guides were good, though the accent was a problem sometimes. Overall, Nice experience. Will definitely book another trip with Gotobus. Thanks Guys.
This tour is organized very well and we had wonderful experience to visit some of the notable places in the United States. The journey and hotel arrangements are very good and guides took care of us. The driver also drove the vehicles cautiously through the journey and he deserves appreciation. The English accent of the guide needs some improvement and I also shared the matter with the guide. Overall, the experience is very good and I want to thank Gotobus.com for arranging wonderful tours.
That was really an amazing trip. Nice tour guide, a friendly and experienced person.
Initially some of my friends told me, as its a cheap tour I wont get a comfortable tour and cant see the places as promised. But "Go to Bus" proved them wrong. That was a real comfortable tour, nice accommodation (luxurious too). Pakka planned it and we got enough time to see all the sights. The arrangement made by them was really helpful and time saving...
Pros: Amazing trip...... had a very good time at Niagara and 1000 islands. Even the tour guide was great, told us some real good facts about the NY and Niagara.
Cons: only concern is traveling 10 hrs a day.
It was a well planned trip, the guide was very knowledgeable. Though it was a hectic 2 days with most time spent on the bus, I was expecting it - so no surprises. The hotel accommodation was very comfortable and the bus stopped at food places having veggie options. Overall a nice experience.
The 4 stars is because a 2-day trip would have been not so pleasant for older people. Instead I would take them on a 3-day trip.
The trip was very hectic. i think we should have spent more time at Niagara than 1000 islands. Hotel stay was good. The bus journey should plan to make rest stops at regular intervals. Also they most stop at locations where all types of cuisines are available not just one.
Trip was organized very well. Hotel was comfortable. All promised areas were covered. Very surprised to note that all schedule timings were adhered to almost perfectly. I will surely book another tour with them again. Thanks Guys.
The whole tour was very interesting and satisfying. It was quite hectic, and the Caves of the Wind could not be covered. Try to have this tour for 3 days instead of 2 days.
Hotel stay was also very comfortable. Thanks
This was the best possible, 2 day tour that can be arranged, Hotel was great. But if we could have reached Niagra a little earlier in the first day night, it would have been perfect. Planning for Washington DC.
The trip to niagara falls was great. the places amazing. the trip in bus took forever but it was cool. people in our bus was quite and nice [lot of indians]. and our guide Jet was great, very well organized, he explained us lot of interesting things about the places we visited and he put great movies during our trip. Jet also sang songs and did games with us in the bus. he was really nice. so the trip was not annoying at all. the 4 star hotel was good. the trip is an adventure, it's tiring but it is worth, i recommend to do it with a good group of friends and check the weather. we had a great weather so it was awesome.
Well-organized trip, and our guide was very good. Only complaints - the bathroom on the bus wasn't of sufficient capacity for a 2-day trip, and the driver only let us have one 20-minute stop on the 8-hour return trip. The hotel was fine, and we had enough time for the IMAX, the Maid of the Mist, the Cave of the Winds, and the 1000 Islands tour. Much sightseeing packed into one trip, but it didn't feel too rushed. For the price, this was a really good deal.
This was my first trip and it has been only 3 months in US so we planned the trip through GOTOBUS and this has been amazing experience. They have well planned and organized trip. It has been a wonderful experience.
Fantastic Tour!! Staff were great... we thoroughly enjoyed the tour... I am also planning for another tour with this guys. Even though we got good bus, AC did not work. We got a thrilling view of the falls and also night view. We did not go for IMAX movies to have more time to enjoy the views. What I heard that The IMAX movie was awful and boring... I would strongly recommend this trip who cannot drive.
It was a fantastic trip. We were six ppl in one group. Before my trip I had some doubt about this trip. But every thing was very pleasant. Bus was very nice. They managed the trip according to the schedule, though schedule was a bit tight. Our guides, Jade and Junie were nice girls providing some basic information of places, but they were doing best job by managing comfort for all people on the bus. We reached Niagara Falls at 5:00 evening, we went to sail for maid of the mist, it was the experience of the life time to feel that mist. After soaking in the mist, we saw the American Falls very closely, after that we went to the Niagara Falls movie in IMAX. My experience suggests that if we could included cave of the winds instead of IMAX movie, it would be better for us. Hotel stay was in Holiday Inn, Rochester, because it was on the way to 1000 islands, So we saved some time by traveling to midway to 1000 island in the night and having a good accommodation. On the second day we saw 1000 island.... and many things to share with you. But in summary, overall tour was well organized, well scheduled and full of fun at a very cheap price.
This tour was excellent. Especially the guides and the driver. We were able to see all attractions and hotel was very good and comfortable. One thing I would like to say is that if start time on day one is 6:00 in the morning then we cant get enough time at Niagara Falls. To cover everything and not enjoying properly is not a good idea. Overall, the trip was very good.
Fantastic Tour!! Staff were great... we thoroughly enjoyed the tour... this was our second tour, earlier also took the Boston tour. So we knew the tour would be good and as expected, it was. We could see all the places of interest. Cave of the Winds was not in the itinerary, however we requested to include it and it was included. Thanks to the tour guide Daisy... she was very helpful... we got a thrilling view of the falls and also night view. It would have been better if we got more time to enjoy the views. The IMAX movie was awful and boring... maybe that time could be used for seeing the falls... but overall great trip...would go again for other trips...
Wonderful time, fabulous, energetic, and most of all, punctual staff. They made it clear they would not tolerate tardiness, which I especially appreciated. We kept on schedule and did everything advertised, and happily, included the best part - Cave of Winds. It was fast-paced as expected. Very grateful for 2 hour rest stops. I plan to book another trip soon. GUIDES and DRIVER WERE SUPERB!!!!
Excellent trip. we liked the Niagara falls through the maid of the mist drive, especially the horse shoe falls. We had the visual experience of a lifetime. The cave of the winds was very exciting. The tour was well organized, timings were perfect. Thanks to the guides and the driver, who took care of us well. One thing we felt uncomfortable was, we were asked to change the bus during our return to new york with about 80 miles to go. The guide in the other bus did not allow us in since they felt there are no enough seats to accommodate us. This left to stand outside the bus very confusingly for some time. Also, the 1000 islands trip was relaxing after traveling very long. Corning glass museum could have been added on second day since we had enough amount of time left during return. Felt like most of the time was wasted in the travel. Overall, it was a nice experience. Worth to give a try for the amount they charge.
It was a nice trip to Niagara Falls. We started from Edison, NY at around 7:30 in the morning and reached Niagara Falls at 5 pm. We enjoyed Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds completed at around 9:30 pm. It is a life time experience. Cave of the Winds was optional for tour. We were lucky that we could made it.One suggestion is that if Cave of the Winds can be made compulsory instead of the IMAX movie. We reached Hotel at 12 midnight and left it 7:30 in the morning next day for 1000 islands. The hotel was fabulous. We did the 1 hour 1000 islands cruise and left for New York. The tour guide was very helpful. The tour is very well-planned and organized. We enjoyed it so much and will definitely recommend it to my friends!
Trip was well organized. We didn't need to worry about the hotel booking, or plan anything. Every thing is pre-planned, just follow the guide and you will definitely enjoy the trip. It is very important that everyone follow the guide and be back to the location instructed by guide on time. Our instructor was very sweet and she really took great pains to make our trip successful. There was some small problem with bus though, like water leakage from A/C. But guide made sure that it was fixed when we stopped. Rest was fine...
The tour guides Jade and Juny were great! They were very professional, helpful and very responsible! The tour is very well-planned and organized. We were right on schedule for the 2 trips. We enjoyed it so much. Will definitely recommend it to my friends!
Overall the trip was an awesome experience and I would HIGHLY recommend it. The only issues that I had is that it was very rushed because we ended up departing over an hour late. Also, the hotel room was poor quality and very low end. But for this price- you really can't complain!
It was a nice trip to Niagara Falls. We started from Chinatown, NY at around 8:30 in the morning and reached Niagara Falls at 5 pm. We did Maid of the Mist, i-max movie and Cave of the Winds and completed all three at around 10 pm. We reached Hotel at 12 midnight and left it 6:30 in the morning next day for 1000 islands. We did the 1 hour 1000 islands cruise and left for New York at 11:30 am. The tour guide Sandy and bus driver are also very good.
It was nice trip, but itinerary is different than tour details mentioned on web site. Also departure from NYC gets delayed by 30 minutes or so, tour should depart on time. Overall it was gr8 trip. Will plan some other tours too...
Fantastic tour and adventure. The coach experienced a breakdown on the way to Niagara - this was obviously an unfortunate situation - but was resolved. We did not arrive at Niagara until 8.30pm but we ate, went to the visitor center and experienced the firework show. The next morning, we went back to Niagara (the hotel was in Buffalo) for Maid of the Mist and travelled onto 1000 Islands which was an unexpected amazement! Fantastic staff and drivers- would definitely do it again and would also do other tours in USA with the company. Excellent price and total ease of check-in and trip.
the trip was worth it the only thing is, the hotel was too far, and we got there like sooo late and we have to leave at 7:30am for the thousand island tour. but overall, the trip was very good thanks to Mei our tour guide
well the trip was well planned and it was worth to spend this much we enjoyed a lot. But i think on day 2 we just covered thousand islands. i mean just for the 1 hour trip we used entire day that was not worth and we came back to NY at 7pm. otherwise, everything was good.
This was my first trip to Niagara Falls and the trip was amazing. We got to do the cave of the winds and the maid of the mist. However, the bus broke down on the first day, and we did not get to see Niagara Falls at night. Our tour guides CC and Felicia were amazing though, and took us on an extra attraction to make up for the loss. The hotel included a free breakfast, so overall, the price was not bad.
Although I have chosen 1000 island, I still got a chance to visit corning glass museum. But it would have been better if more time was placed at Niagara falls. Did not visit cave of the winds. All in all, the trip was a little rushed but organized and the hotel was comfortable. The tour guide Faith did a decent job. :)
Niagara trip was very good and guide was informative. One thing to suggest - please include cave of the wind ride on niagara tour since its one of the more famous and popular ride than 3D niagara movie
Hi all, this was my first trip to NY-niagara. I went for the sightseeing tour of NY by gotobus and the next day took a 2 day tour to niagara again (another gotobus package).I am lucky and thankful to gotobus for covering all three places, niagara, 1000 islands and conning glass museum in 2 days. The tour guide was a real nice guy. Hotel stay was good too. Being a long weekend and considering the rush, I do not think we missed anything or enjoyed the trip any less. Thanks Gotobus. I'm looking forward for another memorable vacation with gotobus.
Great tour...all the attractions were covered as per the itinerary and the break for every 2 hrs of the journey was really helpful for old people and ladies. Looking for another place to book with GotoBus.com.
Trip was organized very well. Hotel was comfortable. All promised areas were covered. Very surprised to note that all schedule timings were adhered to perfectly. I will surely book another tour with them again. Thanks Guys. Great Job.
