Pricing Policy

Buy 2 Get 3rd Free: (1) Cancellation of free-fare passenger must be made at least 7 days before departure. (2) No-show or late cancellation incurs a $88 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat.
Child rates: Child rates apply to those who are 0-12 years old. Child above 2 years must take the seat. Customers are welcome to use child safety seats on that have lap and/or shoulder belts/harnesses for the infant under 2 years. Please note that each hotel room can only accommodate up to 4 guests of any age.

Day 1: New York - Binghamton - Ithaca(227 miles)

In the morning, guests will be picked up from the specified departure locations in New York City. Our first stop of the day will be the campus of the State University of New York at Binghamton, one of the top-ranked schools n the SUNY system. After this, we will head to Cornell University, located in Ithaca, part of the Finger Lakes Region. This school is a member of the prestigious Ivy League. Once we have toured this campus, we will check into our hotel for the evening.

Binghamton, NY

This modestly-sized city in New York state sits at the confluence of the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers. The city was once the region's industrial center until a decline in the late 20th century.

State University of New York at Binghamton

This public research university, part of the large system of New York state universities, educates over 16,000 students. The school will open a third campus location to serve the health sciences in 2017.
Ithaca, NY

Cornell University

Home to over 20,000 students, Cornell University is an Ivy League university situated in the heart of Ithaca, NY. Visitors can walk the large, lush campus, and explore nearby sites like Bebe Lake and Tirphammer Falls.

Day 2: Ithaca - Syracuse - Albany - New York(338 miles)

Today, we will visit two more famous universities in New York State. First, we will see the campus of SUNY Albany, one of the oldest of the SUNY campuses. Then, we will make our way to Syracuse University, founded in 1870 and best known for its basketball program. Afterwards, we will return to New York City, where the tour will come to an end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Syracuse is also well-provided with convention sites, with a downtown convention complex and, directly west of the city, the Empire Expo Center, which hosts the annual Great New York State Fair. The city derives its name from Siracusa, a city on the eastern coast of the Italian island of Sicily.

This private research university in the city of the same name was established in 1831. Their nickname is simply the "Orange," matching the school's official color. It is divided into 13 schools and colleges.
Albany, NY

Albany is the capital city of the U.S. state of New York. Roughly 150 miles (240 km) north of New York City, Albany sits on the west bank of the Hudson River, about 10 miles (16 km) south of its confluence with the Mohawk River.

University at Albany SUNY

Part of the State University of New York system, the Albany location was founded in 1844 and has three campuses that share an enrollment of over 17,000 students. Nobel Prize laureate Toni Morrison is among the most notable alumni.

A mandatory service fees: Minimum $12 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $12 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $48.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15-30 days or more prior to departure - 10% of the total purchase amount.
11-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
8-10 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure or no show- 100% of the total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit the entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
Some of the destinations may be closed due to Covid pandemic.Please follow your tour leader?s instruction. Your kind understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated.

Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
Luggage: Each customer may bring on board one checked luggage plus one carry-on bag.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort upon arrival.
