What a trip,I have to say from the place we departed to our way back,it was a very and exciting trip, the places we visited, the hotel, the tour guides,I really recommend this tour company,I WILL BE BACK SOON!
It was our third tour with the group and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Our tour guide, Mike, was very professional and cooperative. The stay was excellent, itinerary was good as well. We look forward for more trips in the future.
Despite the fact that on the very first day we had to face the bus break down (and it took 2 hours to replace the bus) and faulty AC (due to which buses were replaced several time) I would have to say that the tour was a memorable one. The tour operators are quite professional and tried to resolve the problems in the best way possible. Even compensated by providing free lunch and water bottles. Tour guides were quite polite and well mannered. Tour itinerary was good and Caverns is the highlight of the tour. Just hope that the buses are thoroughly checked before hand to avoid inconvenience due break down or faulty air conditioning. The tour is definitely highly recommended.
Trip was good- we visited almost four states in two days. Accommodations provided were very good except travel bus. Now it's time to buy a brand new transportation bus, although tour guide and driver were excellent.
Very compact and good trip. Plan was good covering 4 states in 2 days. Day 1 was very productive with Pennsylvania and Washington DC. Day was good with Virginia and Maryland. The water taxi ride could have been added on for Day 2 as there was time for it. The accommodation was in Holiday Inn and was very good. The Tour guides Ken and Stone were courteous and made sure all travelers were on time. Frequent stops made it easier to travel. Stops for lunch/dinner were Chinese buffets.Though they were good, they were a little costly.
Overall, the trip was one of the memorable ones!
Overall, the tour was good. The Hotel was really good to stay, and the price was good. Bus Quality was good.
I m not fond of Museums, hence got bored a bit there. But I liked memorial which was nice place to visit. We couldn't visit Baltimore due to F1 Racing. Shenandoah Caverns visited on 2nd Day was the best place for this tour. At this price, this is really good tour and shall recommend to everyone.
We had a nice time taking this tour. Things that made the experience memorable would be the punctuality of the tour, Suki (our friendly tour co-ordinator and guide), the accomodation (Best Western), the bus (neat and clean). Like some of the friends have indicated in the reviews, the bus stops on specific restaurants for Lunch/Dinner, however one can explore the possible options around the stops to find a restaurant to suit their taste. I would recommend this tour
Tour was good covered all the places, we had 24 people in our group. Bus was very bad, AC was not working in 97 F temp. Driver was not cooperating. Only stops at Chinese restaurant so do not have other food option.
The tour was awesome! The bus ride was really comfortable, and our guide Suki was great - very friendly and really knowledgeable (she in fact knew some more details about Shenandoah Caverns than the actual local tour guide there :p) and told us interesting trivia. Suki also had a nice rule for not using the restroom on the bus to avoid it becoming smelly, and instead we had rest stops every few hours. The hotel Comfort Inn was also very comfortable. I would recommend this tour to all.
Very nice tour,we had a very wonderful time in the caven and we had very fun and enough time to enjoy the memorial events held by indian inn baltimore city inner harbor. all in all everything is fantastic
It was great. Don (guide) and James (driver) did a great job. You get off the bus often enough not too feel exasperated. (unlike on the niagara falls tour and things) We got about 30min off at every monuments. It was a very interesting and enjoyable trip. Only downer was the food for dinner a 15$ buffet and the choice of the hotel. Fairfield Inn & Suites is really not a great choice...
We all had a good time and appreciated the nice hotel that was provided! It was a good value for everything we got to do. The driver was going a little too crazy on the way back cutting people off, which was a concern. But other than that, it was well worth it!
We had very good guide, Whinny , she had good knowledge of tour and she was polite and she took care of whole team very well. I liked Washington DC and Shenadoah caves very much. I would love to go other tours through this company only
Good value and saves you the trouble of planning the details. The tour guide runs the trip on a tight schedule. The overnight stay hotel is actually good.
I have used these tours now for 5 or more times and continue to recommend them to my friends.
The tour was good. Most of the things were covered. Tour guide Cindy and Cecelia were very helpful and co-operative. Instead of the president's museum more time should have been given to White House or Washington Monument. Overall the tour was great and we had a very good time.
Nice tour and great tour guide Angie. I just have some suggestions. They should give more time at the aerospace museum (just gives 1 hr) instead of time given at Jefferson, Lincoln, White House or Capitol Hill. Also, Madame Tussauds was not a great option instead one of the other museum would have been better.
This is my 1st time to join a group bus tour. I was so excited and I enjoyed the 2 days of hectic activities. I admire our tour guide Angie because she was very active and jolly not boring and she knows how to counteract any problem with the sites to be toured. My tour to the Shenandoah Caverns was the best, we explored wonders way deep under the ground. I look forward to my next vacation next year to join another tour under your company. More power to you Angie.
It was a good trip for us, I went with my wife and 2 year old kid, trip guide Mike is very helpful and informative, he had a lot of knowledge about the attractions. Overall trip is not expensive and is worth taking.
Good Tour! Covers all important places, very good accommodation provided, Just enough time at every place, maintain overall time.My only request is , the tours should make a stop near some train or bus station in NJ for people coming from NJ.
It was a really fun and nice experience that I had on this tour. We reached all the attractions on time and the tour guide (Jacky) has given us good brief information about the attractions. He was very patient and friendly too. I'm looking for another package (probably Niagara or somewhere soon.
Good day!I joined the 2 day Philly, Washington DC, Shenandoah Caverns and Baltimore tour last Nov. with my husband and I found our tour guide, Don, to be very good. He was very patient and understanding. He knows how to handle a big group because we had a full bus tour. We also found our bus driver very kind and helpful. We really had a nice time and it made our vacation memorable. Thanks!
