Day 1: New York - Corning Glass - Niagara Falls (306 miles)

The bus will pick up passengers in both New Jersey and New York City in the early morning. We will head north to the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will view the nighttime Illumination of the Falls.

Then we will take a relaxing Boston Harbor Cruise, giving us a breathtaking view of the city from the water. After lunch at Quincy Market, guests may either leave from Boston Logan Airport or be transferred back to New York and leave from any of the airports there. Additional Note

  • CITY PASS: Passengers are NOT allowed to use a CITY PASS to purchase tickets for any of the optional sightseeing attractions visited on this tour.
  • Lodging: Single price is for one person staying in one room. Double, Triple and Quadruple prices are for two people, three people and four people staying in one room respectively. Triple and Quad rooms are based on the existing bedding in a room which is 2 double beds.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 1-2 business days after booking, please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Confirmation

  • Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 36 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the status of your booking.

Redemption

  • Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person for tours (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    15-30 days or more prior to departure -10% of total purchase amount.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    4-7 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

Hi, I would like to know that, can I join the tour just me, one person? If I can, how much would that be? double of 215? so is it going to be 430 just me? Or can I still use the price of 215 to join the group?

Hello, for sure you could join the tour by yourself, you will stay in the hotel room by yourself. For single occupancy, price is $315.

  • Fiz o tour no mês de junho/2015 e tenho as seguintes observações: PONTOS FORTES: acomodações perfeitas (fiquei em excelentes hoteis). As paradas na estrada foram em locais adequados. PONTOS FRACOS: a duração de tempo da estrada é longa, passa-se pouco tempo nos pontos turísticos, os opcionais são fracos e o guia não cumpriu todos porque disse que o roteiro que eu havia recebido na véspera havia mudado. A gorjeta é praticamente imposta e de uma forma rude querem lhe forçar a ofertar mais do que o mínimo recomendado. O jantar da lagosta (um dos opcionais em Boston) é muito diferente do que eu tinha ido na vez anterior (por outra agência) - ou seja, trata-se apenas de um jantar chinês com entrada limitada a uma pequena lagosta por pessoa num restaurante que exalava cheiro de peixe morto (no que eu fui anteriormente o restaurante tinha bela vista, serviam bebidas, não havia limite de lagostas por pessoa). O tour foi em pequena van que não tinha acentos reclináveis e me mandaram ir para último acento para que um casal chinês sentasse na frente - só me ofereceram voltar para o primeiro acento no caminho da volta. O tempo no quincy market foi insuficiente. O tempo do museu do vidro também foi muito pequeno.
