Day 1: New York - Lancaster - Youngstown (462 miles)

Passengers will be picked up in New York City in the morning. Then we will continue on to Lancaster, PA, Pennsylvania's Amish Country. Here, we will visit the Amish Farm and House. We will travel to Youngstown, OH, for the night.

    This authentic Amish farm in Lancaster, PA is more than 300 years old, and an educational experience for the whole family. This 25-acre farm is dedicated to teaching people about the Amish lifestyle in a fun and constructive way.

Day 2: Youngstown - Cleveland - Chicago (418 miles)

In the morning, we will continue our journey westward. We will stop in Cleveland, OH to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (no inside visit). From there, we will head to Chicago, IL. We will take a tour of the city that includes stops at the Willis Tower, Buckingham Fountain, Cloud Gate, and more!

In the morning, we will take a Architectural Cruise that will give us amazing views of the skyline and buildings. In the afternoon, we will have lunch at the famous Navy Pier, after which we will return to the hotel and have free time.

Today we will make the trek back to New York. Along the way, we will stop in Pittsburgh, PA to see the PPG Building and Duquesne Incline. We will return to the pickup points for dropoff at night.

    Duquesne Incline

    The Duquesne Incline is an incline railroad in southerns Pittsburgh that takes passengers up Mt. Washington. Built in 1877, the railway extends 800 feet up the cliffside and offers unparalleled views of this historic and unique city.

    • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

  • A mandatory service fees: Minimum $12 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $12 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $48.
  • Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

  • Tour route may be changed and reversed; you may contact the vendor 1-2 days prior departure to confirm final itinerary
  • Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
  • Luggage: Each customer may bring on board one checked luggage plus one carry-on bag.
  • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort upon arrival.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

  • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

  • This trip was fantastic. We were able to see so many attractions in such a short time, that it was unbelievable. Our guide Jason Siu was very knowledgeable and patient. Thanks to him, we saved a lot of time, considering it was a holiday weekend. Our driver, George, made the trip so smooth, and took us back home safe and early. Thank you Jason and George!!

  • This trip was awesome! The guide, Carmen, and the driver, Lisa, both were nice and very organized. I met great people in the bus and everyone was super friendly too! This is my 4th trip- I did Canada, Washington DC, Maine, then Chicago. I am definitely recommending this tour! You see so much on a budget! Just bring some snacks in the bus, a pillow for your neck, and you will be good to go! Overall very happy!
