Today we will take a trip to New Jersey to spend a day in the famous casino town of Atlantic City, NJ! Enjoy the gambling and partying of this seaside town. Please note that all guests must be 21 years of age or older in order to participate. We will return to New York for the night.

Option 2: New York - West Point - Woodbury - New York (130 miles)

Today we will drive north of the city. Our first stop will be the famous military academy, West Point, in the town of West Point, NY. Here, we will learn about the Unites States' military history. From there, we will make our way to Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in Woodbury, NY for some bargain shopping. At the end of the day, we will return to the New York City area to spend the night.

West Point, NY

West Point, New York is best known as the home of the United States Military Academy, where you can visit the West Point Museum to learn all about the history of the country's military.

West Point Military Academy

This famous military academy not far from New York City was established in 1802, making it the oldest in the country. In addition to the school, it is also home of the US military's oldest museum.

All visitors must provide a valid ID. Anyone who are under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at least. West Point Military Academy will be temporarily closed on 9/8, 9/15, 9/21, 10/5, 10/26, 10/20, 11/3, 11/9, 11/10, 11/16 ,11/17, 11/22, 12/25/2019. We will take the photo at the entrance of west point, then go to woodbury afterwards.

Day 3: New York (18 miles)

Rise and shine! We will first go to visit New York University. Next, follow us and take a visit to the Little Island. You can see the Hudson River and the skyline of Manhattan when you climb high. Then we will take a cruise and travel around the Statue of Liberty! In the afternoon, we will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MOMA). Finally, let's enjoy our time in the popular Hudson Yards! You may take a visit to the Vessel and The Edge, the suspended viewing platform. You can also enjoy delicious food here.

The Vessel

It is a structure and landmark which was built as part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project in Manhattan. Day 4: New York - Philadelphia - Washington DC (167 miles)

Today, we will drive to Philadelphia. We will begin our tour by taking a visit to the University of Pennsylvania. One-hour will be arranged to learn about the history and achievements of this famous school. The rest of the three hours will be used to visit the Penn Museum which contains rich collections and then we will dine in the campus cafeteria. Enjoy your leisure time at the University of Pennsylvania! Following, we will head to one of the National Historic Sites of the U.S. - Independence National Historical Park and have a look at the Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell which symbolizes freedom. Finally, we will leave Philadelphia for Baltimore to visit the famous Johns Hopkins University.

Johns Hopkins University

The Johns Hopkins University is a private research university in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1876, the university was named for its first benefactor, the American entrepreneur, abolitionist, and philanthropist Johns Hopkins. The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine consistently ranks among the nation's very best in education. The architectural style of the campus follows the Federal style of Homewood House. Most newer buildings resemble this style, being built of red brick with white marble trim.

Day 5: Washington DC - Corning - Niagara Falls (428 miles)

Driving through the hilly countrysides of Pennsylvania and New York state, we will enjoy the rural scenery as we head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will see the IMAX Adventure Movie. In summer, we can then choose to take the Maid of Mist. In the evening we will also take the Niagara Falls Night Tour.

Corning is a city in Steuben County, New York, United States, on the Chemung River. The population was 11,183 at the 2010 census. It is named for Erastus Corning, an Albany financier and railroad executive who was an investor in the company that developed the community.

Corning Museum of Glass

This museum in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking. Its collection contains more than 45,000 objects, some of which date back millennia. It was founded in 1951 and sees 400,000 visitors annually.

Today we will continue to visit the Niagara Falls and take a Niagara Falls In-depth tour. If you don't want to join the Niagara In-depth Tour, you can stay at the Niagara Falls State Park with longer free time. Then we can choose to take Niagara Falls Jetboat. Afterwards we will head to Boston and speng night here.

Today we will drive south stop at Newport, RI to visit Breakers Mansion. Then we will move to Yale University. After that we will back to Boston.

Newport is a high end New England seaport town, extremely popular among the mega-rich of America. Travel along Ocean Drive to get beautiful scenic views and see the magnificent Breakers Mansion. It is a short drive from Boston.

Breakers Mansion

The Breakers mansion is not just one of the most famous, but is the largest and grandest of the several historical Newport "cottages" that dot the ritzy coastline. The four-story building is located on 14 acres of waterfront property.

Today we will take a city tour of Boston, passing by the Trinity Church. Next we will explore the campuses of Harvard University and pass by MIT. Then we will take a relaxing Boston Harbor Cruise giving us a breathtaking view of the city from the water. Then we will come to the Quincy Market. If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

A mandatory service fees: Minimum $12 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $12 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $48.
Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
Luggage: Each customer may bring on board one checked luggage plus one carry-on bag.
Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort on the departure date.

Confirmation

Your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please allow up to 8 hours to receive the confirmation. Your booking will be processed as soon as possible.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
9-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
1-8 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.
Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

It was a great trip, and we had a cool group with nice people. We saw a lot of different places and cities in a short time. You have to get up almost every day very early and you will be in the hotel in the evening. That's a kind of a hard journey but you have time to sleep in the bus. In New York the drop off/on place is not the best but with the subway easy to handle. The only thing I didn't like was the food. Every day kind of Chinese and if you don't like you have to search food on your own & this is mostly in the middle of Chinatown. But in summary a nice tour.
