    Pricing Policy

    • BUY 2 GET 2 FREE (1) Cancellation of free-fare passenger must be made at least 7 days before departure. (2) No-show or late cancellation incurs an $298 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat.
    • Child Rate: Child rates apply to those 0-12 years and using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers (regardless of ages). Please bring car seats with you for your infants during the tour.
        
    Day 1

    Home - New York City (Free Airport Pick Up) (42 miles)

    Flights can be booked into any of the three major New York City area airports. Passengers arriving at JFK or LGA before 5:00pm will tour Flushing, Queens. Those flying in to EWR can either take our shuttle to the hotel for some rest or pay $10 to go shopping at Jersey Gardens Mall. All who arrive before 5:00pm have the option of joining a 3-hour night tour of the city.

    Shuttle service will be available from all airports. There will be an additional charge for those who arrive after 10:00pm.

    Day 2

    New York Tour Options

    Option 1: Atlantic City
    Guests will spend the day in the legendary casino town of Atlantic City, NJ. (All guests must be over the age of 21.)

    Option 2: New York City
    Guests can spend the day as they see fit exploring New York City. At 7:00pm, guests will return to our tour office to board transportation for the hotel or continue on an optional night tour* of New York.

    Option 3: Woodbury Common Premium Outlets

    Today we will spend the day touring New York City. Stops include Wall Street, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Empire State Building, a guided tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, an exploration of the USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum, and Madame Tussauds' Wax Museum.

    We will travel to Philadelphia, PA in the morning to see the Liberty Bell and then head to Washington, DC to see all of the famous monuments. This is also where we will spend the night.

    • The famously cracked Liberty Bell is a sign of American Independence and spirit. Located at Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, PA, this symbol of the American Revolution was crafted in 1752-- more than 250 years ago.

    Washington, DC

    • This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.
    • The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.

    • The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year.
    • One of the Smithsonian Institute's museums in Washington, DC, the National Air and Space Museum chronicles the history of flight. From the Wright Brother to Buzz Aldrin, the exhibits at this museum explore all of humanity's air travels.
    • The famous United States Capitol is the meeting place of the US Congress, and has been for more than 200 years. The building is famous for its elaborate dome and intricately designed, detailed columns.
    • This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

    Washington D.C. - Corning Glass - Niagara Falls (431 miles)

    We will head north to the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will take the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride, see an informational movie at the IMAX Theater, and view the nighttime Illumination of the Falls. Guests can then choose either to stay in the Falls Park for self-exploration or have an in-depth tour* that includes visits to the Power Vista and Old Fort Niagara.

    New York - Woodbury Common - West Point Academy (70 miles)

    Today we will visit the famous military academy, West Point, and then head to the Woodbury Outlets for a discount-shopping trip. Guests may choose to skip West Point and spend the entire day at the Woodbury Outlets. After, we will head back to New York City for flights home.

    Central Valley, NY

    • Airport greet and meet: Your tour escort will be wearing a yellow uniform and holding a sign with your name. Domestic arrivals, your tour escort will wait at the baggage claim area/outside of the arrival's (restricted) area. International arrivals, your tour escort will wait just outside of customs exit.
    • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours

    • 15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
