DAY1 New York - Finger Lakes - Niagara Falls (394 miles)

We’ll depart from New York City in the morning, heading north through the beautiful Delaware Gap to Watkins Glen State Park in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Walk through Watkins Glen Canyon to see the picturesque gorge, passing over and under waterfalls and along a vast stretch of woodland. We’ll continue past Seneca Lake and its miles upon miles of vineyards to arrive at Niagara Falls in the late afternoon. At night, make sure not to miss the unforgettable illumination of the Falls, as colorful lighting transforms the raging waters.

Partimos en la mañana desde la Gran Manzana hacia el norte donde pasaremos por el hermoso Delaware Gap hasta el Parque Estatal Watkins Glen en el corazón de la región de los Lagos Finger. DAY2 Niagara Falls - New Jersey (435 miles)

We can hear the thundering water of Niagara Falls as we leave our hotel. In the morning, we’ll pay a visit to Goat Island for a close up view of the river. Then we’ll experience the power of the Falls aboard the Maid of the Mist boat ride (summer) or the Journey Behind the Falls tunnels (winter), both offering a unique, not-to-be-missed perspective of this natural wonder. At noon, we’ll depart south to New York State. On the way, we’ll enjoy an afternoon shopping excursion at the Woodbury Commons, one of New York's best shopping venues, with discounts of as much as 40-60% on products in over 230 brand name stores, including Ralph Lauren, Armani, Calvin Klein, Gucci, and many more! Finally, we’ll make an evening arrival at our hotel in New Jersey.

Al salir del hotel escucharemos el rugido de las aguas de las cataratas. Veremos las cataratas desde las cataratas Horse Shoe y sentiremos su fuerza a bordo del "Maid of Mist" (entre mayo y octubre). DAY3 New Jersey - Washington DC (187 miles)

Today we’ll continue our journey south, passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving in Washington DC, the capital city of the United States. Our first stop will be Capitol Hill to see the U.S. Capitol Building, where the Senate and the House of Representatives meet, and then the White House, home to the President of the United States. We’ll then continue our tour at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, home to a stunning collection of air and spacecraft—from the Wright Brothers to the space shuttle—before visiting the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Korea and Vietnam War Veterans Memorials. We’ll spend the night in the metro D.C. area.

DAY4 Washington DC - New York (225 miles)

We’ll start the day with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery to see the changing of the guards and the eternal flame at the Kennedy family gravesite. Next, we’ll visit to the U.S. Mint Facility, where we’ll learn how the U.S. government prints its currency, and what safeguards the facility uses to keep the American greenback safe from counterfeiters. We’ll end our tour with a visit to one of the multiple museums along the National Mall or the nearby Holocaust Museum before departing north for our return to New York City, where we should arrive in the early evening.
