Day 1 : New York - New Haven - Rhode Island - Boston

This morning we will travel to New Haven, Connecticut to explore the beautiful campus of Yale University, one of the top universities in the world. From there we will travel to the nearby Mystic Aquarium,* home to many rare and remarkable sea creatures, including Steller sea lions and Beluga whales. After our visit, we will travel to the wealthy seaside town of Newport, Rhode Island, arriving in the mid-afternoon at the Vanderbilt family’s former summer home, the 70-room Breakers Mansion,* named for the waves crashing onto the rocks below the 13-acre estate. The bus tour will then leave Newport and head to the historic city of Boston, one of America’s oldest cities, with a rich economic, social, and political history. Once we arrive in the evening, you will be free to wander around Quincy Market, one of Boston’s most popular eating and gathering places, set in a cobblestone promenade where jugglers, magicians, and musicians entertain the passers-by.

Day 2 : Boston - New York

Today we will take a city tour of Boston, beginning with Trinity Church, which is honored as one of the "Ten Most Significant Buildings in the United States" by the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Next we will explore the campuses of Harvard University, the oldest university in the United States, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, or MIT, one of the world’s greatest science and technology schools. Then join us as we relax aboard a Boston Harbor Cruise*, giving us a breathtaking view of the city from the water. After lunch, we will conclude our tour and head back to New York City, arriving in the early evening.
