Ever wondered what makes New York City so unique? Today, we will be able to broaden our horizons by venturing beyond Manhattan to discover the boroughs of the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn. In the Bronx, we will see Yankee Stadium, the borough's very own Little Italy, and the Grand Concourse. The Bronx is known for its unique collection of art deco buildings and its impact on global culture. Along the way, we will learn about the origins of hip-hop, breakdancing, and graffiti. Then, we will move on to Queens, the most ethnically diverse borough, which has an expanding community and rising skyline. We will see Socrates Sculpture Park, the only place in the New York metropolitan area dedicated to large-scale sculptures and installations in a unique outdoor environment. Next, we will visit Brooklyn, the most populous of the five boroughs, where we will see Williamsburg, the hipster capital of the world. This former hub of industry has been revived through its lively artistic scene, and its once-abandoned waterfront has given way to luxury buildings and parks. We will enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch before exploring DUMBO, a lively neighborhood that provides fantastic views of Manhattan from Brooklyn Bridge Park. Afterwards, our tour will come to an end.
