Niagara Falls tours and vacation packages bring you to one of the world's great natural wonders — ride the Maid of the Mist, walk the Cave of the Winds and see the falls lit up at night. Most trips depart from New York, with options also leaving from Washington DC, Boston, Philadelphia and Jersey City. Hotels, transport and a guide are included on most multi-day packages.
This is our second bus tour. This time, we had taken five day Washington DC, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Boston, New York tour. Our tour guide, Judy, was very well informed, great communications about pickup and drop off. Judy ensured that stops were planned at regular intervals for convenience of customers. Just felt that NY city (every thing) was covered within 6 hours which i felt little short. Could have given more time for New York City tour and walking tour.
22nd May 2026 we had 3n 4days tour were excellent. Our tour guid Mr Sean was managing nearly 55 people very politely. What he was talking sometimes can't understand but no problem for that.tour covered all destination point .it was raining almost 4 days , still tour carried its itinerary excellently. Its very reasonable tour.we enjoyed lot.Thank take tour and thanks Sean
Benny is an excellent tour guide. He went above his duty by calling and reminding of the time they needed to be back. My family the itinerary and this trip even though this was our 3rd trip to Washington DC and Nigeria Falls. I recommended this itinerary and this site to my friends.
overall this tour is nice, especially tour leader Jason . this guy very responsibility with all the members and discipline. i can recommend this tour for anyone who want to know east us.
Everything in this tour was well organized and the tour guide Rick was excellent. I am looking forward to book again in this same tour and will highly recommend to family and friends. Thank you Take Tours for giving us a wonderful experience in visiting these places.
I recently completed a 4-day tour with TakeTours covering Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Washington DC, and Philadelphia, and overall it was a memorable and well-organized experience. Also, tour guide was amazing and his name was Sean Yue. One thing to keep in mind is that the itinerary is quite packed, so be prepared for early mornings and a fast pace. However, this is expected when covering so many destinations in just four days. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore multiple major East Coast destinations in a short amount of time. It offers good value for money and covers many must-see locations efficiently. Things can be improved: Transportation by bus was decent, though it could be better. The two-night hotel stay was excellent overall, except for the Buffalo hotel.
The tour to Niagara Falls was amazing. Jason was a very good tour guide. Everything is great except the toilet on the bus, it is out of service so be prepared if you bring senior member.
I recently went on this tour, and it was a wonderful experience. The itinerary was well planned, and everything was smooth and hassle-free. The places we visited were beautiful, and overall it was a memorable trip. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
I have choose this package for my family .they are coming from india too meet me i was so confused should i take or not but my decision was very good and its great great facility they are providing. now i can viist entire USA Thank you so much for great service
Excellent tour and very thoroughly curated. We really liked the timings and the Leo’s proactive way of getting the tickets and passes which saved a lot of time for all of us. Bus driver was super helpful managing the ride through snow and arranging our luggages. Buffalo city tour could be avoided since it was just around the Lake Erie. All of us liked the tour and will recommend it to friends and family for sure.

Yes. Several of our Niagara Falls tours from New York and New Jersey are marked Vegetarian-Friendly, and the destination itself caters well to vegetarian, halal, and Indian diners. The One Niagara International Food Court at the falls serves Indian, halal, Chinese, and American food, so groups with dietary needs can eat well even on a packed itinerary. If your family needs strictly vegetarian or Jain meals (for example, no onion or garlic), tell us when you book and we will confirm what each tour can accommodate. A good starting point is our 4-Day Niagara Falls, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston Tour from New York, which carries the Vegetarian-Friendly label.
Yes, with the right itinerary. Niagara Falls is one of the more senior-friendly stops on the East Coast because the main viewpoints, the Maid of the Mist boat ride, and the nighttime illumination involve little strenuous walking. For multi-generational families traveling with grandparents, a 2-day pace is the most comfortable choice, as it avoids the very early mornings of the longer combined tours while still covering both the daytime and nighttime falls. When booking, ask about coach amenities and seating if older relatives are joining. Our 2-Day Niagara Falls Tour from New York or New Jersey is a popular pick for families traveling with seniors.
For relatives visiting from India, the most popular choice is a multi-city East Coast tour that combines Niagara Falls with New York, Washington DC, and Philadelphia, so first-time visitors see the country's highlights in one trip. These guided tours include hotel stays, English-speaking guides, and vegetarian-friendly meal options, and many depart from New York and New Jersey, where most families host their visiting relatives. A 4 or 5-day package is the sweet spot for a first visit. Our 4-Day New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Niagara Falls Tour from New York and our 5-Day East Coast Classic Tour are both well suited to families showing relatives the U.S. for the first time.
Two days is the most recommended length for a family trip, so you can enjoy both the daytime and nighttime views of the falls. At night you can watch the illumination and seasonal fireworks; during the day you have time for the Maid of the Mist boat ride, Cave of the Winds, and other highlights. A two-day stay covers everything at a comfortable pace, which works well for families with children or older relatives. If you also want to see New York, Washington DC, and Philadelphia in the same trip, a 4 to 5-day multi-city tour combines Niagara Falls with all of them.
For travelers from New York City or New Jersey, the easiest option is a guided multi-day bus tour, which handles driving, hotels, and attraction tickets for you. Driving yourself takes about 6 to 7 hours each way, and direct buses or Amtrak trains take 8 to 10 hours. Because of the distance, most visitors make Niagara Falls a 2-day trip with an overnight stay near the falls, so they can see both the daytime and nighttime views without rushing. Our 2-Day Niagara Falls Tour from New York or New Jersey departs conveniently from both areas.
The must-do experiences in Niagara Falls (U.S. side) are the Maid of the Mist boat tour, which runs from mid-May to November and brings you up close to the falls, the Cave of the Winds walk near Bridal Veil Falls, and the nightly illumination and seasonal fireworks. You can also take the Fallsview Balloon Ride for panoramic views, hike the gorge trails, and visit the Aquarium of Niagara. Most of these are included or easy to add on a guided tour, so a 2-day visit covers the highlights comfortably. Our Niagara Falls tours from New York bundle the boat ride and Cave of the Winds with hotel and transport.
The best time to visit Niagara Falls is from May to October, when the weather is pleasant and attractions like the Maid of the Mist boat tour are open. For fewer crowds and a unique view of the partly frozen falls, visit between November and February, though some attractions close in winter. Summer is the most popular season for family trips and books up quickly, so reserving a tour in advance is recommended. You can compare departure dates on our Niagara Falls tours from New York.
