    Price listed is per day per person.
    Currency: All prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD) except admission and meal fees which are paid upon arrival.
    Lodging: Single occupancy (1 person per room with 1 bed), Double Occupancy (2 people per room with 2 twin beds), Tripple occupancy (3 people per room with 2 twin beds).
    Child fare: 2 - 11 year old share a room with two adults (no bed). No charge for infants under 2 years old.
    Pre-Post Accommodation: Available only on the day before (one night) or after the tour(one night). USD$55 per person per night (twin share basis), there is no charge for child share a room with two adults. USD$110 per night applies for Single Room.
    Airport transfer: Available in Paris(only pick up from CDG and ORY of Paris), Amsterdam(AMS), Frankfurt(FRA), Rome(FCO/CIA). Airport, Train, hotel, meeting place transfer (available between 7:00am and 10pm), USD$45 each way per person (based on two people).

    Saturday: Paris - Lucerne (650 km) (667 km)

    Today, we’ll drive from Paris to Lucerne, past small villages and charming landscapes to Basel, Switzerland, and from there on to Lucerne, where we will arrive in the early evening and will spend the night.

    Day 2

    Sunday: Lucerne - Zurich - Rhein Falls - Titisee - Frankfurt (450 km) (2728 km)

    After breakfast, we’ll begin with a survey tour of Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city, and drive on to visit the Rhine Falls, the largest single waterfall in Europe, which measures 150 meters at its widest point. We’ll then continue with our tour, winding through a portion of the fairytale Black Forest, so named for the sheer number of conifer trees that densely fill the forest soil, blocking out much of the light from above. We’ll emerge at Titisee, a small town at the edge of Lake Titisee, where the cuckoo clock was first invented. While there, we’ll eat lunch, which will include a dessert course of the famous Black Forest cake. We’ll then travel to Frankfurt, Germany, where we should arrive in the evening.

    Day 3

    Monday: Frankfurt - Prague (530 km) (514 km)

    From Frankfurt, we set out in the morning for Prague, the lovely capital city of the Czech Republic. The thousand-year history of the city is deeply colored by past conflict, from the days of the Holy Roman Empire, through both World Wars, the Velvet Revolution and the end of Communist rule in 1989. In this prominent city, we’ll spend the night.

    Day 4

    Tuesday: Prague - Bratislava (330 km)

    Our morning sightseeing tour of Prague highlights St. Vitus Cathedral; the beautiful gardens at Na Valech and Rajska Zahrada; the Golden Lane*; the Charles Bridge; and the Old Town Square with its Astronomical Clock. In the afternoon, we’ll spend time at the Wenceslas Square, a boulevard-like thoroughfare which boasts many theatres and cinemas, restaurants, shops, stores, banks, and commercial centers. Featured in the square is the St. Wenceslas Statue in the center median, as well as the Czech National Museum, which flanks the southeast side. From one capital to the next, we leave Prague for Bratislava, across the border into Slovakia. Here we’ll visit St. Martin’s Cathedral, among the biggest, most elaborate, and oldest churches in all of Slovakia. We’ll remain in Bratislava overnight

    Day 5

    Wednesday: Bratislava - Budapest (200 km)

    After breakfast in Bratislava, we’ll drive to Budapest. This city has been lauded as one of the most beautiful in Europe, and perennially ranks among Eastern Europe’s most livable destinations. Once two separate cities, Budapest is divided by the Danube River into Buda, on the west bank, and Pest on the east. First we’ll explore the western half of the city, seeing the Fisherman’s Bastion* and Matthias Church*, at the heart of the Buda Castle district. Then we’ll cross the Danube over the Elizabeth Bridge, one of the newest to connect the two sides of the city, and stop at Heroes’ Square, where an arc of statues commemorates the many heroes in Hungary’s storied past. We’ll stay overnight in Budapest.

    Day 6

    Thursday: Budapest - Vienna (250 km) (242 km)

    On this day, our destination is Vienna, the capital city of the Republic of Austria. Vienna is a key center for international diplomacy, hosting such vital organizations as the United Nations and OPEC. Once in the city, we’ll visit Empress Maria Theresa's favorite palace at Schonbrunn*, former summer residence of the Hapsburg Imperial family (and considered one of the most beautiful baroque palaces in Europe), Stadtpark and the popular Johann Strauss monument, the Austrian Parliament Building, the world famous Vienna State Opera House, the Soviet War Memorial, and impressive baroque Church of St. Charles Borromeo. A stroll along the Kartnerstrasse with its glamorous boutiques brings us to St. Stephen's Cathedral. (And for music lovers, Vienna is widely considered the classical music capital of the world, so check with your tour guide to arrange a Viennese Waltz concert* of classical music for you.)

    Friday: Vienna - Salzburg - Innsbruck (480 km) (483 km)

    In the morning, we’ll leave Vienna and pass through the Abbey of Melk on the river Danube as we drive to Salzburg. Once there, we’ll proceed on foot as we explore the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart*. Although Salzburg is ranked as Austria’s fourth-largest city, it has held on firmly to its history, and is considered one of the best preserved city centers north of the Alps. In the mid-1950s, the city contributed its historic scenery to the movie, The Sound of Music. After experiencing Salzburg, we’ll move on to Innsbruck for a night’s rest.

    Day 8

    Saturday: Innsbruck - Mt Titlis - Lucerne (300 km) (305 km)

    From Innsbruck in the morning, we make our way toward Switzerland, stopping at Engelberg to ride the world's first revolving cable car* that takes approximately 45 minutes to bring you to the top of Switzerland’s highest vantage point atop Mt. Titlis. The cable car will give you a 360 degree view of the country as you slowly crawl through the sky. After lunch on the mountain, we’ll descend to the city of Lucerne to view the medieval scenery and architecture, walk across the wooden Kapell Bridge, and alongside the lovely Lake Lucerne. We’ll see the Lion Monument carved into the rock above the water, and then we’ll enjoy some free time to shop for Swiss watches and other specialties, before proceeding back to Lucerne for the evening.

    Day 9

    Sunday: Lucerne - Milan - Verona - Venice (400 km) (527 km)

    From Lucerne, we’ll visit the Italian city of Milan, the fashion capital of the world. When we arrive, we’ll view the immense Sforza Castle, once the stronghold housing the Duchy of Milan, now home to a number of the city’s museums and art galleries. Then we’ll head to glass-covered 19th Century shopping plaza, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, followed by a visit to the world-renowned La Scala Opera House, a picturesque example of traditional Italian architecture. Afterwards, we’ll drive to the city of Verona, filled with both historical buildings and romance. We stop first at the Verona Arena, a Roman Amphitheatre considered one of the best preserved ancient structures of its kind. Then we’ll walk the streets that served as a setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, including the short passageway leading to the Balcony of Juliet at Villa Capuleti, a pilgrimage place for lovers and now a popular wedding venue. The evening will take us from Verona to Venice, the city of canals for a night’s stay.

    Monday: Venice - Rome (550 km) (542 km)

    After breakfast in Venice, we’ll take a waterbus along the canals through the city, past many of the marvelous churches and structures showcasing Venetian architecture, stopping off at San Marco Square. Here we will see the Basilica di San Marco, one of the best known and preserved examples of Byzantine building style. Nearby, we will make our way to view the Bridge of Sighs, the beautiful limestone walkway that connects the old prison to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace, which was often the last view convicts would have of the city before their inprisonment. Then, after witnessing a demonstration of Murano glass-blowing, we’ll take gondola ride* through the Grand Canal that you will not want to miss. In the afternoon, we transfer to Rome or a nearby city for the night.

    Tuesday: Rome - Vatican - Florence (280 km) (591 km)

    Our first stop in the region will be the Vatican, the world’s smallest sovereign state, where we’ll head to its grandest and most celebrated church, St. Peter's Basilica. The basilica, which houses the burial place of St. Peter, is considered one of the holiest sites in the Christian world and is a showcase of the artistic and architectural styles of several Renaissance era greats, including Michelangelo. After lunch, we head out to Rome to enjoy a tour that will take us to the Colosseum*, the Arch of Constantine, and the Pantheon. Afterwards we’ll stop by the Trevi Fountain where you can throw a coin and make the traditional wish to return to Rome, and then enjoy a relaxing stroll through the Piazza di Spagna and the nearby Spanish Steps. Later, we’ll transfer to nearby Florence to stay overnight.

    Wednesday: Florence - Pisa - Genoa (550 km) (Green) (259 km)

    Breakfast in Florence will be followed by a tour of this stunning city, which is often called the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. We’ll first enjoy a panoramic view of the Piazzale Michelangelo, followed by a sightseeing tour on foot that features the Ponte Vecchio and Arno River, the Piazza del Duomo with its free-standing Campanile Tower designed by Giotto, and finally the Uffizi Gallery, one of the finest and oldest art galleries in the world. You will have ample time to shop through Florence for some of the world’s premier leather goods before we leave to drive to Pisa to see its famous Leaning Tower. After a stop at the beautiful Duomo (Cathedral) and Baptistry in Pisa, we'll continue on to Genoa or a city nearby for overnight.

    Thursday: Genoa - Monaco - Nice - Cannes - Avignon (450 km) (470 km)

    This day features a journey along the Mediterranean Sea to the picturesque city-state of Monaco on the French Riviera. We’ll enjoy the breathtaking scenery as we visit this small country’s major attraction, the grand palace and celebrated casino in Monte Carlo. We’ll make a brief stop at Nice for a view of the beautiful city, before making our way to the world famous Fragonard Perfume Factory to sample and learn more about their wares. After this fragrant tour, we will reach Cannes, host to one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals, where we’ll have the opportunity to take photos at the Palais des Festival and then relax on the beach. Tonight we’ll stay in the Provençal town of Avignon.

      Redemption

    You will receive a confirmation voucher in 2-3 business days after you receive the e-ticket. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination and depature details, is included in your confirmation voucher. When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print the confirmation voucher to present when you arrive at your destination. It is your proof of purchase.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us.

    Cancellation penalties per person as follows:

    • Up to 31 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 15-30 days prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    • 7-14 days prior to departure - 60% of total purchase amount.
    • Less than 7 days of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Dates are based on the local time in Europe.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    Currency Fluctuations:
    All tour prices are current at the time of publication and are susceptible to currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to alter the tour price in accordance with changes in foreign exchanges rates and changes in prices for services. The rate that you pay when you reserve your tour will protect you against future currency fluctuations; on the other hand, no price adjust (refund) will be made based upon change in tour prices.

    Remarks

    1. The Company is not liable for any delay or expense.
    2. The Company will accept no responsibilities for losses or additional expense due to accident, delay, weather, strike or cause beyond its control.
    3. Passengers must have a valid passport. Your passport must remain valid for at least 6 months from the arrival date. The Company will not be held responsible for any expenses if passenger is refused entry by any country.
    4. The Company is not liable if passenger decide to withdraw during the tour.
    5. The Company reserves the right to alter or curtail the itinerary substitute hotels and/or conveyances as it is deemed necessary.
    6. The Company do not accept liability for acts of violence for any single sharing a room with others.
    7. Non-refundable for any unused portion of the tour and any meals listed in itinerary after departure whatever the reason is that you cannot continue with the tour.
    8. The Company also reserves the right to require any individual to withdraw from the tour if deemed his/her act of conduct is detrimental to or incompatible with the interest, harmony & welfare of other passengers and the tour as a whole. The Company shall be under no further liability thereafter to any such person.
    9. The Company is not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

    Responsibility
    The Company acts only as an agent and/or intermediary for independent suppliers. As a result it retains other contractors to provide transportation, accommodation and other related travel services. The Company accepts no responsibility for any such losses or any additional expenses or and distress due to delays, sickness, weather, strikes or any other causes.

    1. Passengers shall be regarded as carrying his/her own risk with respect to loss or injury to person or property. The Company is not liable for any loss, injury, accident, damage, delay or expense which may arise during the tour.
    2. Passenger accepts full responsibility for losses and expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, wars, quarantine and changes in itinerary.
    3. The Company will not held responsible if passenger carries any unlawful items or irregularities, any losses and expenses are the responsibility of the passenger.
    4. The Company, tour guide and driver do not accept liability for lost or stolen personal property during the tour.

    Purchase of travel insurance is strongly recommended. We will be pleased to assist in enquiries of any travel insurance.
