Silfra is a deep crack in the face of the earth which separates the Eurasian and American tectonic plates which are drifting apart at the slow rate of about 2 centimeters per year. The glacial waters of Silfra rush up from ancient lava tubes after having spent years traveling underground. You'll swim effortlessly through the crevice, aided by the flow of the mild current pushing you along.

The combination of a beautiful atmosphere, crystal clear waters, ease of swimming due to the mild current and the fact that you're snorkeling between two continents, has earned Silfra its position as one of the world's top 10 diving and snorkeling sites. This trip is suitable for anyone, from beginner to advanced. Our experts offer full training and guidance throughout your underwater journey. We recommend wearing warm clothes underneath the diving suit and bringing additional clothing for afterwards.

Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket).
