This popular excursion allows guests to see some of the best-known natural phenomena in Iceland. Beginning in Reykjavik, we will drive to the Nesjavellir Power Plant, a high-temperature geothermal area situated among the picturesque landscape of Lake Thingvallavatn. Please note that due to weather conditions, we will not be able to visit Nesjavellir in the winter. Then, we w's first national parliament. Continuing on our way, we will reach beautiful Gullfoss Waterfall and explore the geothermal area around the incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. Later we will travel through the fertile agricultural areas on the way to Hveragerdi. Afterwards, we will return to Reykjavik, where the tour will come to an end.
  • Thingvellir National Park, ICELAND

    Thingvellir National Park is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most popular tourist destination in Iceland. Thingvellir has unusual tectonic and volcanic geological features and visitors can enjoy a wide array of activities including camping, hiking, and scuba diving.

    Althing

    Althing is the Icelandic parliament, as well as the name of the building in which the governmental body meets. It was founded in 930, making it the oldest parliamentary institution in the world.
  • Golden Circle, ICELAND

    Iceland's Golden Circle is the country's most popular tourist route, featuring several of the top geological formations in the country, such as the geysers of Strokkur and Geysir, as well as the Gullfoss waterfall.

    Gullfoss

    This waterfall in southwest Iceland is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. It is a multi-tiered waterfall, which all empties into a crevice 32 meters deep.

    Geysir

    Considered the first geyser discovered by modern Europeans, the eruptions of Geysir can send boiling water up to 70 meters in the air. Only 50 meters away is Strokkur, another famous Icelandic geyser.

    Strokkur

    Merely a stone's throw from it's sibling, Geysir, Strokkur is a fountain geyser near the Hvita River. It erupts every 8-10 minues, averaging about 15-20 meters high each time.
  • Hveragerdi, ICELAND

    Hveragerdi, located in the Southland Region of Iceland, is near the Hengill volcano and is known for its geothermal activity and numerous greenhouses. Tourists enjoy outdoor recreation, the Listasafn Arnesinga Art Museum, and more.
