You'll slip into a sleek sailplane for an experience you will remember forever. Share a thermal with an eagle. You'll soar effortlessly in silent freedom. Gourmet lunch provided. Complimentary pick-up service available from all Downtown Santa Barbara hotels and some hotels in Palm Springs. Please advise your pick-up hotel at time of booking.

Inclusions

Complimentary hotel pick-up service in Downtown Santa Barbara area.
Vehicles equipped with On-Star and First Aid.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided during the tour.

Additional Note

Appropriate walking shoes required - no open-toed shoes please.
Children must be 6 years or 60 pounds or must have a car seat.
We can put guests together if you are a single traveler or couple on any of our tours to receive the 3 or 4 person discounted price. You can contact us first before booking.

Redemption

You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

What type of vehicle is used for the tours?
We use the best all-terrain vehicles, the HUMMER H2’s. They are air-conditioned, making it very comfortable in the warm months and seats are heated for those times when we head up to colder elevations. HUMMERS are legendary for their unparalleled stability and climbing ability. Mix in a little luxury and you’ve got the best vehicle for your adventure!
What do I need to bring along on my trip?
Just your sense of adventure and the right clothing. While your vehicle will be air-conditioned, the desert does have extremes. Some summer days can reach over 100 degrees and winters can bring surprisingly low temperatures. It is best to dress for the season in the event you will want to disembark from the vehicle for an up-close look at nature. Layering is always a good idea. If you get too warm, you can simply remove a layer or two. It is important to wear the right shoes too.
Will I see any wildlife?
You may! Our guides are able to take you to those locations where you have the best possible chances to see wildlife in their native habitat. Guests have seen many species of reptiles, jackrabbits, coyotes, bobcat, mule deer, big horn sheep, and a variety of other animals.
What about weather restrictions?
Since you will riding in an enclosed, safe vehicle, weather is not a problem. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Do you provide snacks and refreshments on the tours?
Yes, we provide plenty of quality snacks and refreshments. Each HUMMER is equipped with a state-of-the-art refrigerator that can hold a variety of drinks for everyone on the adventure. No one will leave thirsty! Our snacks do not contain artificial ingredients, preservatives or MSG.
