Day 3: Tel Aviv - Jaffa - Cesarea - Haifa - Acre - Galilea (158 km)

Desayuno. Salida para una breve visita de la ciudad de Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Continuación hacia Cesarea, ciudad romana de la época del Rey Herodes, famosa por su grandiosa arquitectura y su puerto, cuya importancia perduro hasta la época de los cruzados. Jaffa (also called Japho or Joppa) is the oldest part of Tel Aviv and an ancient port city in Israel referenced in biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon, and Saint Peter, as well as mythological stories of Andromeda and Perseus.
Haifa, ISRAEL

Haifa is the largest city in northern Israel, and the third largest city in the country. The city is a major seaport located on Israel's Mediterranean coastline in the Bay of Haifa covering 63.7 square kilometers.

Mount Carmel

This coastal mountain range in Israel rests near the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Haifa, the third largest city in the country, sits on the northern slope.

Baha'i Gardens

Also known as the Hanging Gardens of Haifa, these terraced gardens provide fantastic views of this coastal Israeli city. The terraces lead up to the Shrine of Bab that sits on Mount Carmel.
Acre, ISRAEL

It played a very important role during the Middle Ages, when it was the base of operations for the European crusading forces stationed in the area. Nowadays, visitors can see the very well preserved remains of the medieval city.
Galilee, ISRAEL

Day 4: Galilea - Tiberiades - Nazareth (59 km)

Desayuno. Salida vía Cana de Galilea hacia Nazareth. Visita de la Basílica de la Anunciación y la Carpintería de José. Se continúa bordeando el Mar de Galilea hacia Tiberiades. Por la tarde, continuaremos hacia Tabgha para visitar el lugar de la Multiplicación de los Panes y de los Peces. Luego se prosigue a Capernahum, el Ministerio más importante de los últimos cuatro años de Jesús, para visitar la Antigua Sinagoga y la Casa de San Pedro, seguiremos hacia el Monte de las Bienaventuranzas, escenario del Sermón de la Montaña. Tiberias, ISRAEL

Tiberias is an Israeli city on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee (called "the Kinneret" in Hebrew), Lower Galilee, Israel. Established in 20 CE, it was named in honour of the emperor Tiberius.

Capernaum

This ancient fishing village on the Sea of Galilee is an important setting in the New Testament of the Bible, in which it is said to be the hometown of the apostles Peter, Andrew, James, John, and Matthew.

Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish

This Roman Catholic church in Tabgha, overseen by the Benedictine Order, is named for the part of the New Testament when Christ multiplies the amount of bread and fish present for the feeding of the five thousand.

Church of the Beautitudes

This Roman Catholic church is located near the Sea of Galilee and the ancient town of Capernaum. It is built on the site believed to be the location of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.
Nazareth, ISRAEL

Nazareth is a city in the Northern District of Israel. At the end of 2007 it had a population of 40,800. Nazareth Illit was founded in 1957. It was planned as a Jewish town overlooking the Arab city of Nazareth and the Jezreel Valley.

Day 5: Tiberiades - Valle Del Jordan - Jerusalen (114 km)

Desayuno. Saldremos de Tiberias con rumbo hacia Yardenit (lugar del Bautismo), a orillas del rio Jordán. Seguiremos viajando por el Valle del Jordán hasta Beit Shean, una de las prin- cipales ciudades de la decápolis griega cuya importancia estratégica debido a su ubicación geográfi ca ha perdurado a través de la historia hasta nuestros días. Visita de las excavaciones arqueológicas. Continuación vía Desierto de Judea hacia Jerusalén, bordeando la ciudad de Jerico y pudiéndose apreciar desde el camino el Monte de las Tentaciones. Alojamiento.

Vista de la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén prosiguiendo hacia Ein Karem, pintoresco barrio de las afueras de Jerusalén para visitar el Santuario de San Juan Bautista. Yad Vashem

Yad Vashem is Israel's official memorial to Holocaust victims. Established in 1953, Yad Vashem is on the western slope of Mount Herzl on the Mount of Remembrance in Jerusalem, 804 meters above sea level and adjacent to the Jerusalem Forest.

Day 7: Jerusalen

Mount of Olives

A site of immense religious significance for both Judaism, as a cemetery, and Christianity, as the location of Christ's ascension to heaven, Jerusalem's Mount of Olives was named for the crop that grew over its slopes.

Church of the Holy Sepulchre

This church within the Christian Quarter of Old Jerusalem was built in 335 on the site believed to be the location of Jesus' crucifixion and near his tomb.

Via Dolorosa

Often referred to as the Stations of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem refers to the route that Jesus Christ took on his way to his crucifixion. An important spot for Christian pilgrims, it stretches about 2,000 feet.

Gethsemane

This olive garden at the base of the Mount of Olives is believed to be the location where Jesus wept, prayed, and was arrested the night before His crucifixion. It is now a popular pilgrimage destination.

Prices: Quoted prices are based on US Dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Tour Accommodations: The tour operator reserves the right, if necessary, to substitute other, similar hotels from those listed. Such substitutions may be made at any time and without prior notice. The tour operator cannot be held responsible for hotel over-bookings. In the event of over-booking, the tour operator will find similar accommodations in the same area.
English-Speaking Tour Escort: A professional, bilingual tour director will accompany tours while traveling by motor coach. Most tours will operate in both Spanish and English on the same motor coach. In the unusual event that a group totals less than 15 persons, the tour operator reserves the right to operate the tour in a minibus or private car with a bilingual driver-escort, or by first-class rail transportation.
Hotels: Unless otherwise stated, prices are per room and based on one, two or three persons sharing a room, with private bath. A limited number of single rooms are available at additional cost. Triple rooms are not recommended.
Meals and Sightseeing: As indicated in the itineraries. Meals do not normally include beverages, except coffee or tea with breakfasts.
Passport and Visas: A valid passport is required for United States citizens. Citizens of other countries require a valid passport and may require additional documents. Such persons should contact consulates of countries to be visited and obtain proper documents before departure. The possession of required and valid passport and visas is the sole responsibility of the traveler. The tour operator assumes no liability for lack of proper documents.
Baggage: Although airline regulations generally allow, free of charge, a maximum of two bags, the tour operator will accommodate only one normal size suitcase plus one small overnight bag on motor coach tours.
Surcharges: A documentation and shipping fee of $25 will be added to all online bookings.
Cancellation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure:
Notification day and departure day are not counted
Cancellations received more than 45 days prior to departure will have a penalty of $50 per person;
Cancellations received between 45 and 31 days will have a penalty of 25% per person.
Cancellations received between 30 and 6 days will have a penalty of 50% per person.
Cancellations received received 5 days or less prior to departure or "no shows" will receive no refund.
No refund will be made for abandonment of services. No refunds will be made for transfers, city tours or any other services (including meals, accommodations or transportation) voluntarily not taken.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
Insurance: The tour operator highly recommends that each traveler purchase travel and cancellation insurance. Such insurance can be obtained through your travel agent.
Changes: Travelers holding confirmed tour or hotel package reservations may request a change of date to another tour or hotel package of equal or greater value. Online changes can be made up to 45 days before departure and are subject to availability. There will be a charge of $25 for such changes if accepted by the tour operator.
Responsibility: The tour operator holds itself free of any responsibility for any cause, in all matters connected with hotels, accommodations, sightseeing tours and transportation, whether by air, rail, bus, motorcar, boat or any other means. The tour operator and/or its agents will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any of the traveler's belongings. The tour operator reserves the right to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour at any time. Baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk throughout the tour, unless insured.
Limitations of Liability: The tour operator and its agents act only as agents for the traveler's hotels, restaurants, sightseeing and transportation (such as railroad, aircraft, boat, motor coach, automobile, or any conveyance). The tour operator and its agents shall not be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage, delay or inconvenience arising out of or in connection with any defect in any vehicle or any act, omission, neglect, accident, error or default of any company or person engaged in providing such hotel, restaurant, sightseeing, transportation or other services of the tour. The tour operator and its agents shall not be responsible or liable for alterations of the tour itinerary or arrangement, if such alterations become advisable or necessary for the comfort or well being of any passenger, or for any reason whatsoever. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours or portions thereof. The sole and exclusive responsibility and liability of the airline shall be in accordance with and as limited by the contract of carriage in the passenger's ticket, the applicable tariffs, and provisions of the Warsaw Convention, if applicable.
