Guests will be picked up in Vancouver in the morning to begin this tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations. Only 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver lies Indian Arm, a protected ocean inlet that is Canada's southernmost glacial fjord. From Vancouver, we will drive along a narrow, winding road through mostly uninhabited temperate rain forest to the inlet. When we arrive at the fjord, we will embark on the waters in comfortable two-seater kayaks that will take us through what is easily the best sea-kayaking adventure in British Columbia. At all times, guests are accompanied by trained guides who will point out the local wildlife and ensure our comfort and safety. We will enjoy lunch at a small, uninhabited island, which provides exquisite views of the inlet, enjoying a tasty three course picnic lunch that includes freshly grilled salmon. After lunch, there will be some free time for swimming (if it is a hot day), a walk through the woods, or a nap in the sun before we return to the city feeling rejuvenated, invigorated, and refreshed!
