Day 1: Atlanta - Charlotte(244 miles)

After departing from hotel, we will head for Charlotte. In Charlotte, we will visit NASCAR hall of Fame . We will also outside visit City Hall and Bank of America Headquarter.

    Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina and the seat of Mecklenburg County. Charlotte has a humid subtropical climate and is situated halfway between the Appalachian Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, between Washington, D.C. and Atlanta.     The NASCAR Hall of Fame honors drivers who have shown exceptional skill at NASCAR driving, all-time great crew chiefs and owners, and other major contributors to competition within the sanctioning body.

Day 2: Luray - Washington DC(78 miles)

Our fist destination will be the natural wonder Luray Caverns in the morning. In the afternoon, we will head to Washington D.C., and visit the Madame Tussands in Washington D.C. Next, we will visit the White House (exterior, 15 mins). We will also visit the U.S. Department of Treasury (exterior), Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial. (Due to effect of early sunset during winter time, we will visit Lincoln Memorial after dusk.)

    This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

    Korean War Veterans Memorial

    This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

    Lincoln Memorial

    This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.

Day 3: Washington DC - Philadelphia(139 miles)

Depart from the hotel in early morning, we will first visit the US Capitol. Our professional tour guide will bring you inside the Capitol building and have a look around the interior of the Capitol building (if the Capitol is closed, we will visit the exterior of the Capitol building instead.) We will also visit the Library of Congress (exterior) and Supreme Court of the United States (exterior). After that, we will take the D.C. Cruise along Potomac River to see many of the areas' most historic landmarks and memorials in a unique way. Then we will head to the National Independence Historical Park in Philadelphia. While walking on the cobblestone streets, it seems that you could still hear the rings by the Liberty Bell(exterior). Next, we will visit One Liberty Observation Deck.

    (Outside Visit) The Supreme Court is another magnificent addition to Washington's neoclassical buildings. It is home to the country's highest governing judicial body. Visitors may tour the building on their own and also attend court, provided that it is in session.

    One Liberty Observation Deck

    At the top of One Liberty Tower, visitors can get the best panoramic view of the city of Philadelphia from 57 floors above this beautiful city.

Day 4: New York

Our first stop of the day will be the Empire State Building so we can get a full view of the city we are about to explore. Then, we will take a Statue of Liberty Cruise that will take us to the base of Lady Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. After that, we will stop by the USS Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. In the Financial District, we will visit the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, Trinity Church, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square. Later, on a bus tour, we will see Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center. In the evening, guests can arrange to see a performance on Broadway at their own expense. (If you book the Broadway show tickets with us, we will provide $100 drop-off service for free!)

    This bronze sculpture that sits at the northern tip of New York's Bowling Green Park is ready to strike! It was commissioned to represent the "strength and power of the American people" after the stock market crashed in 1987.

    Trinity Church

    Built in the mid-1800s, Trinity Church (also called St. Paul's Chapel) is the oldest public building that is in continuous use in NYC. The current church is the third on this site; the first Trinity Church was built in 1698.

    The Metropolitan Museum of Art

    The Metropolitan Museum of Art is not just the largest art museum in the United States, but also one of the three biggest in the world. Its collection contains more than 2 million works of art.

    Rockefeller Center

    (Passing By) A member of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places as well as a National Landmark, the world-famous Rockefeller Center (named for John. D. Rockefeller's son) in Midtown Manhattan has been a New York hub since the 1930s.

    United Nations

    (Passing By) This building in New York City has served as the global headquarters of the United Nations since 1952. The area has extraterritoriality status, meaning it is technically not bound by the laws of New York or even the United States.

    Ground Zero

    (Passing By) In the United States, "Ground Zero" refers to the site of the tragic terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, and killed thousands of people. Today, the area is a construction site of future buildings and memorials.

    Broadway

    Broadway has been the heart of the New York's live theater scene for over a century. There is always a plethora of plays in production, ranging from classics to modern experiments, so visitors can always catch a show.

Day 5: New York Times Square Countdown

In the morning, we will visit the Central Park of New York and the 5th Ave. You may enjoy Lady M or Luke's Lobster for brunch. We will pass by Trump Tower, Apple Flagship store, and more. (There would be no space for storage shopping bags so please do not purchase any goods on that day.) Then, we will head to Times Square to see New Year's Eve Countdown. Cheer with the entire world as the ball drops!

You will have 3 options for the countdown:

1. You may walk to Times Square and watch performances before the countdown. At the same time, the countdown zone will be closed for pedestrians only; you may experience the world-famous New Year street celebrations to witness the historic moment. (Free of charge)

2.Buy an Applebee Party Pass! ($375 for adults, $250 for kids)

3. New York Sightseeing Countdown Cruise. ($411/person, including transfer service to the pier)

Free airport drop-off service is available after countdown event.

After the end of the countdown, guests can choose to return to the hotel to rest or enjoy a free drop-off service directly to the three major airports (LGA / JFK / EWR), taking flight after 4:00 AM on 1 January 2019, only if the room is not occupied on that night (count by room), Tour fee does not change. If room is occupying, and drop-off service is needed for guests who shared the room, will be charged $20/person, please inform your tour leader in advance.

If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
