    Day 1

    Calgary - Banff (105 km)

    Please meet at domestic claim belt #8 at Calgary Airport at approx. 2:15pm. Depart for the Rocky Mountains and arrive in Banff Town. Then we will get settled at the hotel.
    • Banff, AB

      Banff is a small town located within Banff National Park in Alberta. It is within distance of several hiking mountains and is home to many shops and boutiques.

    Day 2

    Banff - Banff National Park - Jasper National Park - Golden (478 km)

    After passing Castle Mountain, we will explore Lake Louise, where we will enjoy a premium lunch at the Chateau Lake Louise. Then, we will set out onto the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park to begin our glacier adventure. We will have the option of taking a ride on the massive Ice Explorer to traverse the surface of the stunning Athabasca Glacier. Next, we will be able to experience the thrilling Glacier Skywalk, a glass-floored observation deck that overlooks Sunwapta Falls. After passing Bow Lake and the Crowfoot Glacier, we will arrive in Golden, where we will spend the night.

      Canada's oldest national park-- and one of the first national parks in the world-- is home to an icy but gorgeous landscape.

      Lake Louise

      Lake Louise is a glacial lake in Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park. The lake is known for its vibrant blue-green coloration, which comes from rock flour carried into the lake by the water of the nearby melting glaciers.

      Columbia Icefield

      The Columbia Icefield in the northern part of Banff National Park covers an area of about 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies. The Icefield feeds eight major glaciers in the area, including Athabasca Glacier and Dome Glacier.

    Day 3

    Golden - Salmon Arm - Kamloops - Vancouver (603 km)

    Today, we will proceed to Eagle Pass to visit the Last Spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Then, we will head west to Kamloops to visit a local ginseng factory. After passing the district of Hope, where Sylvester Stallone filmed First Blood, we will return to Vancouver, arriving in the late afternoon.

    • Salmon Arm, BC

      Salmon Arm first started as a railway camp during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), later developing into a logging, farming and dairy centre. It is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, clean waterways, provincial parks and an abundance of green space.

      Eagle Pass/Last Spike

      The outpost of Craigellachie is a tourist stop in the Eagle Pass, which allows the Canadian Pacific Railway to pass through the Monashee Mountains. This was the location in which the "Last Spike" of the railway was placed.

    Vancouver - Victoria - Vancouver (193 km)

    Today, we will take a ferry to Victoria, taking in the magnificent scenery on the way. After passing Chinatown, we will explore the Inner Harbour and have the option of taking a carriage tour. We will visit the chateau-style Empress Hotel, the Legislative Buildings, Thunderbird Park, Beacon Hill Park and the remarkable Mile Zero. After that, we will visit the world famous Butchart Gardens. Later, we will return to Vancouver by ferry or seaplane.
    • Victoria, BC

      This city on Vancouver Island in the central Pacific Ocean is the capital of British Columbia. It is home to many popular attractions, such as Beacon Hill Park, Butchart Gardens, the British Columbia Parliament Buildings, and more.

      Victoria Harbour

      This seaport in the city of Victoria is the local cruise ship and tourist entry and exit point for the city, covering 620 acres of water. It separates downtown from the Victoria West neighborhood.

      BC Parliament Buildings

      The British Columbia Parliament Buildings are where the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia meet. They are located in Victoria, British Columbia, at the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Visitors can marvel at the Baroque architecture and sprawling lawns.

      Thunderbird Park

    Vancouver - Whistler - Vancouver (188 km)

    Today, we will begin our journey along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, passing by Horseshoe Bay and Stawamus Chief, a granite monolith. Later, we will arrive in Whistler, one of the most popular ski resorts in North America and the home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Once there, we will have the option of riding the Peak2Peak Gondola that goes between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Afterwards, we will be able to relax and shop. Later, we will return to Vancouver, either by bus or by seaplane, for an additional charge.
    • Squamish, BC

      Sea to Sky Gondola

      The 10-minute ride to the top takes you 885m above sea level where sweeping of views of the Howe Sound and coastal mountains will welcome you from every direction

      Stawamus Chief

      The Stawamus Chief (often referred to as simply The Chief, or erroneously as the Squamish Chief) is a granite dome located adjacent to the town of Squamish, British Columbia. It towers over 700 m (2,297 ft) above the waters of nearby Howe Sound. It is often claimed to be the "second largest granite monolith in the world."

    Guests departing from Vancouver will enjoy a free day of shopping and fine dining before transferring o the airport or cruise terminal. Those leaving from Seattle will arrive around noon and transfer to either the airport, the cruise terminal or the aquarium. They should book their flights for after 3:00pm.

    • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you have received the confirmation.

      Redemption

    • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    Cancellation penalties per person

    (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
    • 23-30 days prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    • 15-22 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 14 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
