Pearl Harbor is a lagoon harbor on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, west of Honolulu. Much of the harbor and surrounding lands is a United States Navy deep-water naval base. It is also the headquarters of the United States Pacific Fleet.

  • This memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii serves as a remembrance of the American soldier killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The ship marks the resting place of over one thousand of the dead.

Honolulu is the capital city of Hawaii, and the first stop for tourists from all over the world. Located on the picturesque island of O'ahu, it serves as a gateway into Polynesian culture and history for millions of people.

  • The 'Iolani Palace in Honolulu, Hawaii is the only formerly-functional royal palace in the United States. Until 1893, King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani ruled from the palace. Since then, it has been used as capitol building and museum.

Waikiki is a beachfront neighborhood of Honolulu, on the south shore of the island of Oahu, in Hawaii, United States. Waikiki is best known for Waikiki Beach, the white sand beach shoreline fronting the neighborhood.

Oahu is the most popular of the Hawaiian Islands. It is the location of Honolulu, Hawaii's capital, as well as much-loved tourist spots like Pearl Harbor and Waikiki. The Polynesian Cultural Center is on this island as well.

  • Rising over Honolulu, Diamond Head is a dormant volcano with an interior crater. The Diamond Head crater is one of the world's best examples of this geological formation. The crater's interior is now a national park.

  • The Halona Blowhole on the south shore of Oahu is the result of tubes created in rock thousands of years ago by volcanic eruptions. Large waves force water through the tubes, jetting it 30 feet into the air.
