Day 1: Yellowknife

After arrival in Yellowknife, then around 9:30pm, we will start our first night Northern Light exploring. Travelers can stay in the warm house, enjoy free hot drink and snacks and view the spectacular Northern Light. Back to hotel around 2:00am.

Yellowknife is the capital and largest city of Canada's Northwest Territories. It sits on the Great Slave Lake, not far south of the Arctic Circle. It draws visitors for its amazing views of the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights.

Day 2: Yellowknife

We will travel by snowmobile to Great Slave Lake. Aside from the Aurora Borealis, we will observe our guides pull up the catch with an aboriginal ice fishing net. Then, return to our lodge and enjoy a feast of freshly caught fish. After lunch, we will have a city tour of Yellowknife. Tonight, we will have the 2nd Aurora Viewing tour

  • Head out onto the frozen waters off the shore of Yellowknife to experience ice fishing, which doesn't even seem possible! Make sure to dress warmly.

  • Yellowknife sits far in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Its Old Town is a charming historical area where there is now a craft beer brewery and a glass works facility.

Day 3: Yellowknife

Experience the world class dry land training and the power of a professional team of sled dogs. Optional activities are available to choose from, the 3rd Aurora Viewing tour will be arranged at night.

  • Under the control of professionals, you can experience the pleasure of Mercedes-Benz in the vast snowy sea. You can play snow yo-yos, roast marshmallows, and pose with snowshoes during dog sledding. 12-16 Alaskans/Huskies for 2-4 people on a 15-minute run by the forest lake.
