3-Day San Francisco, Yosemite, 17 Miles Drive and Monterey Tour from Los Angeles

Visit San Francisco (Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Art, San Francisco Bay Cruise), Monterey (The Lodge At Pebble Beach), Yosemite National Park (Bridal Veil Falls, El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls).

Day 1: Los Angeles - 17 Miles - San Francisco (437 miles)

We will depart from Los Angeles and head to the picturesque Monterey Peninsula, where gentle sea breezes, meandering coast, surging waves, bizarre rocks, adorable seals and sea lions rest on the beach. Then we will stop at a world first-class Golf course and resort to view the amazing ocean view. Afterwards we enjoy the scenery of the 17 Miles, which is truly breathtaking. We may also explore the newly opened Pebble Beach Visitor Center. Arrive in Bay Area in the evening and overnight.

Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.

Day 2: San Francisco City Tour

We'll drive to San Francisco, home to over 50 rolling hills and surrounded by water on 3 sides. Then we'll visit the Golden Gate Bridge before visiting Fisherman's Wharf. Here you can take an optional cruise on the San Francisco Bay Then we'll visit the only building remaining from 1915 world's exposition, the Palace of Fine Arts. You may take a in-depth city tour at your own cost this afternoon.

San Francisco, the heart of central California's Bay Area, is famous for its iconic Golden Gate Bridge, its unique culture, and its position at the forefront of technological innovation. Beautiful weather and waterfront views await visitors as well!

  • Lombard Street is a famous road in San Francisco that is known for having eight steep, hairpin turns climbing up a one-block stretch between Hyde and Leavenworth Streets. The strange-looking stretch of road is a famous Bay Area spot.

  • This San Francisco neighborhood is a popular tourist area due to its lovely scenery and abundance of shops, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. The area also hosts several annual events, such as a July 4th fireworks show.

Day 3: Yosemite - Los Angeles (279 miles)

In the morning we'll depart from the hotel towards Yosemite National Park. Giant trees, mountains, and sparkling streams and lakes, glacier-carved canyons, all these unique features make up Yosemite. Take a walk in the woods and enjoy the fresh forest air. After lunch, we'll travel across Central Valley of California, where over half of the fruits, nuts, and vegetables grown in the country are produced every year. Yosemite National Park in central California is best known for the amazing granite cliffs of the Yosemite Valley as well as the towering Yosemite Falls and Sequoias. Millions of people every year journey to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In case of inclement weather condition or road closures, we will visit Denmark City instead.

  • The largest granite monolith in the world, El Capitan is located across from Bridalveil Falls in Yosemite National Park. It juts up about 3,000 feet from the ground, and is a favorite of experienced rock climbers.

  • The Half Dome is one of the most recognizable formations in California's Yosemite National Park. It is known the world over as a challenging and rewarding hiking and mountain climbing location, attracting thousands of adventurers every year.

  • Located in the Yosemite Valley California's Yosemite National Park, Bridal Veil Falls are one of the park's most famous sites. Millions of people every year come to see the 617-foot-high waterfall, which flows year-round.
