Day 1: San Francisco - Los Angeles (381 miles)

Today we will head to Los Angeles where we will stop by the historical landmarks of Hollywood, as well as Hollywood Blvd, Chinese Theater, Dolby Theater complex and the Walt Disney Concert Hall .

A top US city, Los Angeles is known worldwide as the home of the rich and famous. From its prominent Hollywood neighborhood to landmarks like Dolby Theater, this magnificent city is sure to provide fun and amusement for all.

  • The Dolby Theater, formerly the Kodak Theater, annually hosts the Academy Awards, the highest honors in the world of film. It is a massive entertainment and shopping complex in Hollywood, California.

  • With an endless stream of famous landmarks, shops, restaurants, and other opportunities for entertainment, Hollywood Boulevard certainly lives up to its reputation as one of the most famous streets in the world, and is great for celebrity-spotting!

Day 2: Los Angeles - Death Valley National Park - Las Vegas (407 miles)

We will visit Death Valley today. Looking out from Zabriskie Point, we will see the badlands. After leaving the park, we will head towards the Las Vegas where we can join an optional tour or explore the city on your own. Accommodations will be at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino.

In the morning we will drive back to San Francisco. On the way we will see the world's first solar power plant. After crossing the Mojave Desert, we will see the world's longest runway at Edwards Air Force Base. Next, we will pass by the Tehachapi mountain range and see California's largest wind power generating operation. In the afternoon, we will travel through the fertile Central Valley. We will drop off at the Bay Area around 7:00pm.
