Day 1: Boston - Montreal (250 miles)

We will depart from Boston at 7:00am for Montreal, QC, Canada, where we will arrive in the early afternoon. We will visit the Olympic Stadium and Montreal Biodome. After touring the city, we will head to the hotel for the night.

Montreal, Quebec is the second-largest city in Canada, and the center of French Canadian culture. Called "Canada's Cultural Capital," Montreal offers much to see and do, whether you are looking to explore history or the arts.

  • The impressive tower that juts out of the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec is the tallest inclined tower in the world, and an impressive feat of engineering. Visitors can make their way to the top and overlook the city.

Day 2: Montreal - Quebec - Montreal (509 miles)

We will spend today in Quebec City, QC, visiting places such as the Citadelle of Quebec and Montmorency Falls. We will return to Montreal, QC to spend the night.

Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America. It was founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608, and some of the architecture in Old Quebec dates back centuries. The Chateau Frontenac is the most famous landmark.

  • This fort has been an active military installation for almost two hundred years. It sits on a key bend in the St. Lawrence river and was originally intended to guard against an American invasion of Canada.

Day 3: Montreal - Keeseville - Lake George Village - Boston (308 miles)

Today we will return to the US, first stopping at Ausable Chasm and then Lake George in upstate New York. At the end of the day, we will return to Boston, MA. See "Departure and Return Details" for pickup and dropoff information.

Keeseville is a hamlet in Clinton and Essex counties, New York, in the United States.It developed along the Ausable River, which provided water power for mills and industrial development.

  • People were visiting Ausable Chasm in the late 19th century, 22 years before the establishment of Adirondack Park itself. More than 10 million people over more than a century have some to visit the canyon.
