Day 1: Boston - New York (216 miles)

We will depart from Boston toward New York City in the morning. Upon out arrival in the Big Apple in the afternoon, we will check into the hotel and have some time to relax. All guests will have the option of going on a night tour of the city.

  • First we will visit Rockefeller Center(15 mins), before moving on to Times Square(30 mins), and then our last stop, an observation deck in New Jersey(15 mins), offers romantic, panoramic views of New York City.

Day 2: New York (18 miles)

Rise and shine! We will first go to visit New York University. Next, follow us and take a visit to the Little Island. You can see the Hudson River and the skyline of Manhattan when you climb high. Then we will take a cruise and travel around the Statue of Liberty! In the afternoon, we will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MOMA). Finally, let's enjoy our time in the popular Hudson Yards! You may take a visit to the Vessel and The Edge, the suspended viewing platform. You can also enjoy delicious food here.

Day 3: New York - Philadelphia - Washington DC (167 miles)

Today, we will drive to Philadelphia. We will begin our tour by taking a visit to the University of Pennsylvania. One-hour will be arranged to learn about the history and achievements of this famous school. The rest of the three hours will be used to visit the Penn Museum which contains rich collections and then we will dine in the campus cafeteria. Enjoy your leisure time at the University of Pennsylvania! Following, we will head to one of the National Historic Sites of the U.S. - Independence National Historical Park and have a look at the Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell which symbolizes freedom. Finally, we will leave Philadelphia for Baltimore to visit the famous Johns Hopkins University.

This famous and historic port town in Maryland has played key roles throughout the United States' history. From meetings of the founding fathers to the Battle of Baltimore that spawned a national anthem, this city is steeped in history.

  • The Johns Hopkins University is a private research university in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1876, the university was named for its first benefactor, the American entrepreneur, abolitionist, and philanthropist Johns Hopkins. The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine consistently ranks among the nation's very best in education. The architectural style of the campus follows the Federal style of Homewood House. Most newer buildings resemble this style, being built of red brick with white marble trim.

Day 4: Washington DC - Corning - Niagara Falls (428 miles)

Driving through the hilly countrysides of Pennsylvania and New York state, we will enjoy the rural scenery as we head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will see the IMAX Adventure Movie. In summer, we can then choose to take the Maid of Mist. In the evening we will also take the Niagara Falls Night Tour.

Corning is a city in Steuben County, New York, United States, on the Chemung River. The population was 11,183 at the 2010 census. It is named for Erastus Corning, an Albany financier and railroad executive who was an investor in the company that developed the community.

  • This museum in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking. Its collection contains more than 45,000 objects, some of which date back millennia. It was founded in 1951 and sees 400,000 visitors annually.

Day 5: Niagara Falls - Niagara Falls Canada - Toronto (83 miles)

We will proceed across the Rainbow Bridge that marks the border between the US and Canada. Once on the Canadian side, we will ascend the Skylon Tower to view the Falls from above. The tour will then depart for Toronto, ON. There we will pass by Toronto City Hall and visit CN Tower. Next, Mariposa Toronto Harbour Cruise offers gorgeous views of the city and vicinity from the waters. We will have dinner in Chinatown. If time allows, we will additionally visit Ripley's Aquarium of Canada. We will have dinner in historical Chinatown.

Note: In winter, we will visit Ripley's Aquarium of Canada and Casa Loma instead when the Mariposa Toronto Harbour Cruise closed.

Day 6: Toronto - Thousand Islands (Summer) - Ottawa - Montreal (411 miles)

In the morning, we will leave Toronto for the Thousand Islands (Summer). Here, we will take a Boat Tour (Summer) of the area that will pass by some of this beautiful archipelago's most famous landmarks. Then, we will continue on to Ottawa, ON, where we will visit Parliament Hill, the center of Canadian government. From there, we will journey to Montreal, QC to see the Olympic Stadium and Tower and Old Montreal. This is also where we will spend the night. (In the Winter time, we will not go to Thousand Islands, and we will go Ottawa directly from Toronto in the morning.)

Day 7: Montreal - Quebec - Boston (553 miles)

Our tour of French Canada continues today with a visit to Quebec City, QC, one of the oldest cities in North America. In addition to touring the city, we will visit the Place Royale. We will also get a chance to take pictures at Cathedral-Basilica of Notre-Dame de Quebec, the famous Chateau Frontenac Hotel, and the Parliament Building. After the conclusion of our tour, we will head back across the border to the departure points in Boston. Please see "Departure and Return" for more information.

Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America. It was founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608, and some of the architecture in Old Quebec dates back centuries. The Chateau Frontenac is the most famous landmark.

  • Place Royale is a historic square located in the Lower Town area of Old Quebec. It was established as a trading post by Samuel de Champlain, the founder of Quebec City, and is now an important cultural site.

  • The first church in North America north of Mexico to be elevated to the status of a minor basilica, Quebec City's Notre-Dame Cathedral is a neoclassical church originally constructed in 1647, although it has been rebuilt twice due to fire.

  • The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac is a famous grand hotel and a National Historic Site of Canada. The hotel, which is essentially a castle, sits on a hilltop in the city, and is perhaps the most-photographed hotel in the world.

  • This impressive and breathtaking Second-Empire-style building is home to all of the governmental functions of Quebec. Construction on the imposing building took ten years beginning in 1877. The buildings is surrounded by statues of famous Quebecois.
