Visit Canterbury (Canterbury Cathedral), Dover (Dover Castle), Maidstone (Leeds Castle). Visit the stunning 900-year-old Leeds Castle, the historic UNESCO World Heritage Site at Canterbury Cathedral and catch a glimpse of the spectacular White Cliffs of Dover.

Day 1: London - Maidstone - Canterbury - Dover - London (223 km)

Guests will be picked up at their hotels in London. To begin the day, we will take a private tour of Leeds Castle. After that, we will visit the Canterbury Cathedral, where we will learn about the violent history of this seemingly idyllic place. After lunch, we will continue to Dover to take pictures of the famous White Cliffs and Dover Castle. Then, we will explore Greenwich by coach. Afterwards, we will return to London to end the tour. A large, historically important town in Kent, England, of which it is the county town. It lies 32 miles east-south-east of London.

  • Leeds Castle has been standing in some form or another since 1119, nearly 900 years. The castle sits on a lush island in a lake formed by the River Len. It was reconstructed by Hnery VII for Catherine of Aragon.

Canterbury is the town of Kent in the southeast of England and the earliest site of the Roman Catholic church in England. Canterbury cathedral and St. Augustine's monastery have been listed as world heritage sites by the United Nations, and Canterbury are therefore known as one of the most popular tourist cities in the UK.

  • This historic and ornate cathedral dates back nearly one thousand years-- to 1077. It was originally built in the Romanesque style, but a large fire destroyed most of the church and repairs were done in the Gothic.

A major ferry port in Kent, South East England. It faces France across the Strait of Dover, the narrowest part of the English Channel.

  • This awe-inspiring 12th-century castle is the largest in England, and has been played a pivotal role throughout the history of the British Isles, earning the nickname "Key to England." The site is also home to a lighthouse from the first century.
