Day 1

In the morning, we will drive to Milwaukee, the largest city in Wisconsin. We will visit the Harley-Davidson Museum, which showcases the history of this legendary American motorcycle brand with a collection of 450 motorcycles and artifacts. Then, we will visit the historical Miller Brewery. Relax and enjoy your brew in the Bavarian-style Miller Inn or outdoor Beer Garden (seasonally) with friends and family at this historic Milwaukee landmark. After lunch, we will continue to Lake Geneva, a favorite resort for Chicagoans. We will take a walk alongside the lake and take the popular Lake Geneva Bay Cruise (11/1-5/1 off season closed) to enjoy the narrated highlights of many of the elegant, historic estates as you travel around the eastern end of the lake known as "Geneva Bay" in approximately one-hour. We will come back to Chicago around 8:00pm.

Milwaukee, WI

Milwaukee is the largest city in the State of Wisconsin and the fifth-largest city in the Midwestern United States. It is the county seat of Milwaukee County and is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Michigan.

Harley-Davidson Museum

The Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company has over 100 years of history, making some of the finest "choppers" - a style of motorcycle - in the world. This museum chronicles that history through exhibits, real motorcycles, and other artifacts.

Miller Brewery

This facility was the first brewery for the Miller Company, one of the most successful beer brewers in the U.S. Visitors can tour to learn about the company's history and the brewery process.

Lake Geneva, WI

Lake Geneva is a city in Walworth County, Wisconsin, USA. The population was 7,651 at the 2010 census. A resort city located on Geneva Lake, it is popular with tourists from metropolitan Chicago and Milwaukee.

Lake Geneva Bay Cruise

Beautiful estates, mansions and natural scenery that only be viewed from the lake unfold through a descriptive and insightful narrated tour or provide the backdrop for an unforgettable party or wedding celebration.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. Guests need to purchase admission tickets from tour guides.
Itinerary may change without notice
Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund.
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

The tour was great for one day outing from Chicago. Everything was on time and as expected. The tour guide Alex was nice beyond expectation and I'm specifically providing this review due to Alex being such a great help. Due to bad traffic, Alex himself told that he would be dropping all of us at our home locations that were 30 minutes driving distance from the pick up/drop off location. He also helped to take our pictures, communicated everything upfront and arranged tickets etc. It's true that there were some exceptions in this experience which was the Miller Brewery being closed due to the day being a national holiday. The arrangement company could have notified us before, but I do understand it can be difficult sometimes to handle this kind of exceptions before time. Again, though there were exceptions, I enjoyed the tour and writing a positive review because the tour guide was the nicest helpful guy I ever met. Alex deserves more than this comment. I would suggest the tour company notify exceptions before time when possible.
