Day 1: Dallas - Austin - San Antonio(261 miles)

Today we will arrive at Austin. We will have a chance to go inside the State Capitol. Next, we will visit University of Texas and Texas Military Forces Museum. After we pass by Hope Outdoor Gallery, we will head to San Antonio. At night, we may take Night Tour in San Antonio and the river walk cruise.

Day 2: San Antonio - Houston(197 miles)

After breakfast, we will first visit the Alamo Mission and learn the history between Mexican troops and Texan defenders. Later on, we will visit the Buckhorn Museum, Historic Market Square and the 750-foot-tall Tower of the Americas before driving to Houston.

    Tower of the Americas

    The Tower of the Americas is a 750-foot (230-meter) observation tower-restaurant located in the Hemisfair district on the southeastern portion of Downtown San Antonio, Texas, United States. Day 3: Houston - New Orleans(317 miles)

Today, we will drive from Houston to New Orleans. Once we are outside of the Big Easy, we will visit the Oak Alley Plantation. We will also go on an adventurous swamp tour to explore the unique ecosystem of the bayou and spot animals like alligators, snakes, turtles, herons and more. Next, we will head to our hotel in the French Quarter before taking the rest of the day to explore the city. Bourbon Street offers countless live jazz clubs, and there is no shortage of great restaurants around Jackson Square.

Day 5: Houston In-Depth Tour

We will start our day by making our first stop to Battleship Texas, which is only remaining dreadnought battleship in WWI. Not too far from the Battleship Texas, we will visit our second sightseeing attraction - San Jacinto Monument. After that, we will head to NASA Space Center. You will not only visit the museum but also have a chance to take the little train into Johnson Space Center, where all the Space Station mission operations located and learn more about the new mission and space plan. Before the end of the day, we will visit the last sightseeing location and take the Dolphin Cruise in the Gulf of Mexico.

Day 6: Houston City Tour

First, we will stop by Toyota Center and then head to Rice University. Later, we will go for the Houston Museum of Natural Science. In the afternoon, you won't want to miss George Ranch Historic Park.

Rice is generally considered the top university and the most selective institute of higher education in the state of Texas.

    Houston Museum of Natural Science

    Founded in 1909, the HMNS is one of the top 5 most popular museums in the United States. In addition to its halls and exhibits, it is home to a planetarium, a giant scree theater, and a butterfly garden.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

  • Tour route may be changed and reversed; you may contact the vendor 1-2 days prior departure to confirm final itinerary
  • Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
  • Luggage: Each customer may bring on board one checked luggage plus one carry-on bag.
  • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort upon arrival.
