Day 1: Denver airport pick-up

Today we will take the flight to the state capital and the largest city of Colorado -- Denver. Your tour escort will be waiting at the airport with detailed transfer arrangements to the hotel.

Special remarks for airport pick-up:
1. Denver International Airport (DEN) free pick up time is: 14:00 17:00 21:00 (Please make sure to meet with our staff at the listed time slots with your claimed baggage)
2. Guests who arrive after 17:00 will not be able to enjoy our welcome dinner.

Day 2: Boulder - Denver (24 miles)

Today, we will head to University of Colorado Boulder and Pearl Street Mall. Then, we will back to Denver to visit Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, Colorado State Capitol Building, Big Blue Bear and The 16th St Mall.

    Just steps outside the city of Denver, this mountain park in Colorado features impressive geological structures as well as a large outdoor theater, the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre, which has been a part of the park since 1941.

    State Capitol

    This impressive building in Denver, Colorado is the home of the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. The neoclassical building is supposed to resemble the US Capitol.

    Big Blue Bear

    The bear's gesture and size evokes a dialogue between viewer and the viewed. The sculpture is titled, "I See What You Mean." The title itself generates a dialogue between the bear and viewer.

    16th Street Mall

    The 16th Street Mall is the hub of downtown Denver, CO. In addition to a litany of shopping and dining options, many of Denver's most popular attractions are located in the area of the Mall, including Coors Field.

Day 3: Great Sand Dunes National Park - Santa Fe - Albuquerque (341 miles)

Today, we will visit Great Sand Dunes National Park. Then, we will go to Taos Pueblo, Vivác Winery, Canyon Road and Santa Fe Plaza.

Day 4: Albuquerque - Route 66

Today, we will head to Albuquerque. We will outside visit American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum and Old Town Albuquerque. Then we will drive through Route 66 and we can also visit Cadillac Ranch. We will also pass by Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum.

Day 5: Drive on the Route 66 - Oklahoma City (6640 miles)

Today we will drive through the Route 66 to visit Oklahoma City. We will head to visit Oklahoma Route 66 Museum, Skydance Bridge, Centennial Land Run Monument and Oklahoma History Center.

Today we will depart from Oklahoma City and head to Springfield. We will visit Pops 66 (10mins) and Seaba Station Motorcycle Museum. Then, we will go to Tulsa City and Will Rogers Memorial (10 mins). Later, we will visit The Eastern Trails Museum and Galena Mining and Historical Museum. After that, we will head to visit Joplin City Hall (20 mins) and Jasper County Courthouse (10 mins).

Redemption

  • Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    Up to 15 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
    In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.
    Itineraries are subject to change due to the weather, transportation and other conditions, in order to provide the best experience for you.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers. We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
